Possible bug with popup LOVs

"I've created a Popup LOV (retrieves the first set of lines and filters), at the point where I open the popup and try to pick up anything by pressing the 'enter' key I m getting error" the requested URL /pls/otn/wwv_flow_utilities.gen_popup_list was not found on this server. »

Also, if I have a certain value in the popup box and click on the little popup icon, I get the same error.

The page that you saw, http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=50195:1 is a kind of master/detail/detail report.

There are two hidden items on the page to follow the customer "perceive" and order. The links in the customer report and order simply redirect to the same page, defining the hidden field on the pk for the selected customer or order.

Customers and Orders queries are

You can see in each of them there is a decoding that compares the value hidden in the current KP, if it matches it returns CURRENT, otherwise select, this column is given an alias of SEL_LABEL. It is used as the link text, and it is also used in the model.

When a new customer is selected I have a process that will solve the first as current order for this customer, it's

The model is a copy of the current topics in model alternation of colors. Most of the themes have a similar model. The report model can have up to 4 column templates, with or without conditions. The APEX motor will assess conditions and use the first one that is true (or no condition).

The difference in most alternative models of color is the class applied to the td, alt of a data tag data, IE. t12data and t12dataalt.

In my example, the first model of the column is defined as

#COLUMN_VALUE#

with a PL/SQL according to the expression of

'#SEL_LABEL#' = 'CURRENT'

You can see that it refers to the SEL_LABEL column and looks for the value of the CURRENT

The second column model does suffer from any disease and is defined as

#COLUMN_VALUE#

Problem with popup LOV

I'm having a problem with a popup lov. When I click on the icon 'popup' I can choose a provider and it is stored in the field. But when I leave the form and come back later, it shows the value of return instead of the display value. For example: you select "vendor" in the pop-up list with ID 12. "Provider has" if displayed in the text field, when you save the form, it stores the ID 12 inside. But when you go back to the form, it retrieves the ID 12 and has '12' in the field of text rather than "Provider A".

I tried to set the 'source' from the field popup lov as a SQL query, but that has not worked for me.

No idea why this is happening?

I guess that the value is not in the list because where condition, but it appears because of the "Additional display values" setting is set to Yes. See the help for this setting:
"An element can have a value of session state that does not occur in its list of values. Specify if this list of values should display this extra session state value. If you choose not to display this additional session state value and there is no matching values in the list of values, the first value will be the value selected. »

strange behavior with popup lov

I have a popup LOV key (displays the description, returns the key value) that is used to allow the user to select all active employees. Because the popup box doesn't have a function of point of clear page, I included the following in the text of message element:

The question I have is that whenever you click on the link, the value is no longer displayed but every time saving the changes, the value appears again and it is still saved in the folder. I also checked with the session information every time that the page running.

The source value is set to replace the value that exists in the session state.

Possible bug with paragraph styles?

Make a page with three breakpoints
Add a block of text for the breakpoint
Type "The CO2 is carbon dioxide" in text
Format of the text frame in red "BOLD" (from the text window)
Click on 'Create a new style of the applied attributes' (in the window paragraph styles)
Apply the new style to two other break points
Select the number 2 in the largest block of breakpoint text and format it as a script (from the text window)
Select the text block, and then select 'Copy the formatting of the text-> all breakpoints'
Check that all three break points seem correct
Save the Muse site
Narrow muse site
Site open from muse
Note that the formatting has been removed from all three break points

I am able to reproduce the problem. You certainly found a bug, and I think you're right that this has to do with the help of "copy the text formatting of...» ». I can actually reproduce the bug without the help of paragraph styles.

The only workaround that I understood is not to copy text formatting to all the break points. He made the very tedious text formatting, but seems to work.

Rather than use the copy text formatting at all breakpoints, try switching the tool "4 t / 1 t" text in all of the breakpoints.

When the setting is "4t" (as in the screenshot), then any changes you make to the text attributes are automatically applied through breakpoints. Just be sure to return it 1 "t" If you need to make a change in a specific breakpoint. Note that this is a comprehensive framework for setting and not by text.

LabVIEW bug recently while I was going to create a vi to convert grapg labview in trend, I find a little bug graph labview and the roots of waveform that is impossible to solve unless the national instrument correct codes

bug is that invert mood of the chart if your minimum data are not zero, starting point of the grid is not working well and then you loos your grids.

Possible bug with adding the query to your Favorites

I noticed that when I create a MDX query say with a time range of 24 hours and then click on the "current query add to Favorites." When I click the "Favorite queries" button and pull again it changes hourly range custom and goes back to the time when I ran at the origin of the request and not for the last 24 hour period.
This is expected behavior?

Possible bug with report PPR sort on the login page

I created a report on the login page. Links for sorting, pagination and columns seem to not work.

A very simple example with all the default settings on the table of demo MATERIAL. I guess it's releated for not having a valid user on page 101. Sorting preferences are stored by the user.

Anthony has considered this matter and this behavior is limited to the login page, i.e. the page mark you as the "session invalid page" in your authentication scheme. If you make a copy of your example page, paging and sorting would actually be working very well.

Possible bug with isGroup property
Hi all

Just a brief overview of what I'm trying to achieve.

Often, I am facing problem fonts corrupted Flash files because some smart graphics people rather that you select the font in the font list type in the box that it is corrupt.

To resolve this problem, I started creating a JSFL who find all the textfields on stage and in the library and correct the police. It works very well except in the case where the textfield object is in a group: it has been grouped. This problem is solved to disassociate an item but creates a problem with forms :(

Suppose there is a shape on the stage and is grouped and I run the jsfl it successfully to separate the form but where the form is divorced and I run the JSFL it throws an error

UnGroup() service is currently unavailable

I tried to set the condition to avoid problems

1 create a shape on the stage. Select the shape and group (CTRL + G).

The work of fine jsfl disassociates the form.

2 create a shape on the stage.

Running the jsfl throws the error.
Forms will act as groups to be chosen. You will want to choose the form
Then locate isGroup.

It is actually not a button at all. It is an anchor tag that displays an image. The anchor tag href attribute is the key - it's a call from JavaScript. If you are authorized using jQuery for the solution I would be happy to put one together for you. Set up a sample application on apex.oracle.com. Possible BUG: af:query with several LOVs throws bitIndex exception
Hi all

I use the af:query for the search component and I get constantly "bitIndex < 0:-1 error" when searching on a LOV (by typing the value in the part of the LOV not using inputtext does not popup LOV).

Installation program:

I use Jdev 11.1.2.1 with JDEVADF_11.1.2.1.0_GENERIC_110907.2314.6081.

Using the schema HR, I created the entity departments and a Department display object based on the entity.

I created 2 objects of basis for the LOVs SQL view (not from entities not):

1. view LOV departments - select * from departments
2 view of the LOV locations - select * from places

The two views of Lov were created using the wizard with all the default values.

In my opinion main departments (based on the entity), I created 2 LOVs for LocationId and for DepartmentId.

The LOV for DepartmentId returns 2 attributes, DepartmentId and DepartmentName both are mapped to the corresponding attributes in the main view of Department. (I did using the popup "Edit the list of values", in the section 'List return values').

Finally, I dragged the "all searchable attributes" from the control panel of data to a test page, creating a group of ADF query with table

The error:

I type a valid service id in the LOV DepartmentId within the research section and I get the "bitIndex < 0:-1 error.» No results are returned.

When the server running with - Djbo.debugoutput = console I see the following error messages:

Note:
The search works as expected if I only have a LOV attached to the main view. (if I don't have the Department LOV attached as described above everything works fine)
If both LOVs of DepartmentLOV and LocationsLOV return a single value, the departmnetId and the locationId, without mapping any additional return attributes research as planned as well.

This is test case the simplest I could create to reproduce the error I see in our code.

I use APEX 4.2.5.00.08 to my app.
I have a region of reports, where I display a column set. A column is the column attribute "display as" the value 'Popup LOV (LOV based query).
I press the button to retrieve the LOV, I get a popup of 450 x 400 pixels.
I go to the side of the model and navigate to "Popup list of values of model", where I can see in the section 'Window' attributes 'Width' and 'Height' value 450 and 400. I edit them and save them and there is nothing going on. I'm sure that the template belongs to my selected theme.

I see that the values has not changed. I also connected and disconnected. I am inclined to believe that it is a bug of the APEX.
The only solution I think is to replace this function, which is NOT ideal.

The parameters are generated only, nothing you can do about it because it does not use the model for these properties of the couple. Other things work fine for example the names of button or title window etc. I guess that, Yes, it is a bug. It's still there in the apex 5 too, I checked. The default values of the template do not match, the value in the generated code is always 400/450. So I guess it's pretty much a wait on 5.1.

Here's a fun hack to make it work well on your page (works in apex 5 too, because the code is always the same). Put this in the execute on loading of the page section:

Change the settings to your liking. This will replace the existing window.open call, which is what the popup lov use and replace it with our own code. It does not interfere with other things. As the name of the new window is always "winLov" for the popup lov, it is the argument that is checked.

During the call to window.open to open a new window with the name "winLov", parameters are replaced with your own version of it. The window is called as usual, using the stored reference.

Edit:

Yes, do not use the trick of resizing. My hack can be a bit tedious, but it's much less invasive for the end user (see open, bam, resize. "Even gets funky on multiple monitors). Also, this thing in the popup lov template will affect each lov popup that you use in the application, which is much less interesting than my specific page code.

I did a little digging in the source code, and I don't know why it does not work. Popup lovs are actually equipped to deal with it. My guess is that the parameters are recovered only after that the lists were generated, causing the package variables global to use their default values instead of model parameters.

Confirmed on IE8 and 9. OK work on IE10 and any other recent, I tested on Windows, OS X and iOS.

The involved CSS rule is:

Which explains the IE8 problem because it does not support SVG background images. Cannot identify what is the problem with IE9 as it should support it. (Likely to be a browser bug: in the way it handles the complex cascade of the rules in question, or by the combination of the properties involved.)

APEX point of view, I would say that the user that this problem is just. It is certainly a problem of accessibility because that made the contrast ratio of the button text in the background is 1.1:1; well below the WCAG guidelines. In addition to the rule for the SVG gradient background image, the CSS theme should include a rule of background color of help for browsers that do not support SVG backgrounds (or mysterious problems their display). It is common when you use advanced CSS backgrounds.

So there is an easy solution to add the rule of rescue definition of Page HTML Head Popup list of values of the model, after the substitution string #THEME_CSS # :

I have 2 problems on selection lists and popup LOVs.

The first is on a list in tabular form.
It must be created with APEX_ITEM. SELECT_LIST_FROM_LOV or similar and take its values of a named LOV.
This worked fine, but now it should also have the possibility to enter a free value.
I tried to accomplish this by creating an APEX_ITEM. POPUP_FROM_LOV, but there is a problem with the function which is called the icon of the right arrow to the input field (for eg. genList_f11_5()).
If the line is added by addRow, then it works fine, but if the line is not empty
Then the function call is as genList_f11_$ _row () and the input field becomes worthless, when an LOV is selected.

The other problem is on a list of selection that should have the opportunity to enter a custom value and
It should also be able to select multiple values. I tried to implement this in a text box that contains the selected values, and a multiple select list, with an event handler in each option. The user can click on options and they would be copied into the text box. The problem is that I couldn't make the event handler works in Internet Explorer.

It can be created at APEX_ITEM. TEXT.
APEX_ITEM also generates the name attribute that I use the jQuery selector in the sample.
Use jQuery UI autocomplete just similarly as in my example with APEX_ITEM

Possible bug: save the table with double and extended precision to the worksheet

If one concatenates an array of double-precision and an array of precision extended with the 'build' vi table, then recorded using 'Write in a spreadsheet file' vi any digits to the right of the decimal are reset to zero in the saved file. Regardless of the entry of signifier of format (for example %.10f) to the vi 'Write in a spreadsheet file'.

This is a possible bug that is easily circumvented by the conversion of a type before you incorporate arrar in a worksheet. Nevertheless, it's a bug and it cost me some time.

No, this is not a bug - it's a feature

Well, if you'd look closer you would recognize the 'save to spreadsheet' as polymorphic VI. As this polymorphic VI does not support the EXTENSION numbers internally (it only supports DBL, I64, and String) LabVIEW selects the instance with more precision: I64 (I64 a 64 bits of precision, DBL that 53...). Your options are:

-the value of the instance to use as the DBL (by right click and "Select type... »)

-make a copy of this VI, save it under a different name and make support number of POST (not rework the polymorphic VI like you would break compatibility with other facilities of LV or future revisions)
