Possible creation of metadata?

Hi all!

I like to create my own metadata. For example: I sell my photos at the Getty and EyeEm and I would like to add the ID, how many times they are sold, and so forth, in my own metadata.

Is this possible? I've installed a plugin of 500px and this plugin creates its own metadata Panel, it must be possible, but how? I don't want to create a keyword for each code.

Like this:

Bildschirmfoto 2016-10-09 um 19.01.05.png

Thanks in advance... Jan-Stefan.

It is not possible through the standard UI of Lightroom - we need to create a plugin. However, it is at the end very simple writing of the plugin.

See this Note Big example that adds a note field and can be extended if you can cut and paste. You also need to look at the Lightroom SDK to modify the details of the field.

Alternatively, use no exporting keywords.

  • Is it possible to import metadata into the prelude to a source file that is created in one program other than Live Journal?

I'm looking to connect 12 football with Prelude games TV shows so it will be easier to find clips of archive in the future. I hope I do not have to log the 3 hours more games manually if I can. I have an xml file of the game on our application of statistics for each game. If I could only import the XML data into prelude, it would be a considerable time saving on full manual logging files. All the tutorials, I watched it seems that you can only import metadata from XMP files created by the on-line Logger iPad app. Is there a way to convert another type of XMP file appropriate to import them into prelude? Or any other work around for import data?

    HI -.

You can convert your XML in XMP file - then that import directly as a prelude with no associated metadata Panel. But prelude has no built in conversion tools to switch your XML in XMP format.  Writing a translator script is possible, however, if you have the inclination and the time. As long as the end result is formatted metadata XMP prelude can import and apply the cue points in the appropriate places to you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 BB10 Music Player display of files that do not exist and cannot be deleted (possible corruption of metadata)

    Hello

I put a bunch of mp3s in the sdcard/Music directory and had them loaded well. Then I edited the tags id3 in them and the music player picked up all the fine changes. After that I noticed that 3 files have been hidden without changes. I tried to play the songs in the music player, and he says: "the file cannot be read due to an unexpected error. (1)."

I removed all the music from my press card and in the music player all the songs have been removed with the exception of these 3 files (which don't really exist since I deleted everything). Again, I try to play them but I get the same error as above. It seems to me that the metadata somehow has been damaged and must be reset.

Does anyone know how can I reset the metadata cached in the music player to return to a State of uncorrupted?

    Thank you.

  • OAS 10 g metadata repository creation Assistant & database version question

    Hello

I have to install Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 on a server that already has a database of Oracle 11 g running on it and I don't want to install a different database because of the load factor. I don't know if I could use this database
(version 11g) for the metadata repository. I know that we can use an existing database for the repository of metadata using the metadata Wizard, but I'm a little worried about the version of the 11 g database as the application server and the creation of metadata assistant, both are 10.1.2.x.

    Your help is very appreciated.

    See you soon,.

    Omer

OPNRRM 10.1.2.0.2 cannot be used to install a deposit in an 11g database. If you want to use OPNRRM with a 11g database 10.1.2.0.2, you will need to install a database 10g first, create the metadata repository and then upgrade the database to 11g. Not applicable in your environment as you already have an 11g database.

  • Can ANY product Adobe CC ingest or import AVCHD (.mts) files with the metadata accompanying .xmp sidecar files?

I had no luck with the sidecar xmp files relative in any product, including the prelude, Premiere Pro, Lightroom or bridge.

    Hi Mike,.

Okay, I found the outline of the bug. I was initially on the assumption that the question was how the XMP was written by Daminion. This is not the case. Their XMP seems fine. The bug is with the way we are going to analyze these JVC AVCHD files. It will take some research more sort everything, but at least now I'm on the right track. I tested the creation of metadata for a variety of other files AVCHD from Canon and Sony. All these files caused first create the XMP files with the name xxx.xmp. But, when I added the metadata in the JVC, the xmp always emerged as xxx.mts.xmp file. Then... I did some more tests with the file. If the extension of the file to rename. MPG, suddenly all the XMP you added the file in Daminion appeared. All the new metadata that I created has also been added to this file.

It seems that there is a specific bug in our file for this JVC AVCHD flavor Analyzer. I'll get this connected and see if I can get it fixed. In the meantime, you can rename the file extension. MPG, if you want to read your existing metadata. Or... you can add to the file xxx.mts.xmp.

Insect. Thanks for the help to identify him.

  • Clip against a subelement - separate metadata?

Is it possible to have metadata added to a subelement so not crush the metadatra added to its master clip? This would increase the accuracy in locating specific cue points.

    Thank you!

    Bobby

    HI -.

Unfortunately our subclips are simply references to the main element. The main element contains all of the metadata for us.  You can try to use markers/tags to isolate metadata in a sub clipping region may be.  Alternatively, you can encode your clips of video in real clips on disc (become their own main items) and then add metadata. But then, of course, you lose the relationship between the sub and the main elements.

Wish I had a different answer for your questions.

  • Use the image metadata to "put in subfolder" export option?

    Hi all

I was wondering if it is possible to put metadata (or presets or even a regular expression) in the field that appears in the export Panel when "put in the subfolder" is checked.

    I found this wonderful plugin

    http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail & loc = en_US & extid = 3029 022

that almost made the work, except for the fact that it does not accept subfolder of the current folder in option: I must still define the fullpath to the location of startup (called 'root' in the plugin), so to limit the advantage of having the destination folder that is created programmatically.

Does anyone know a way to get exported in the subfolder images while being able to have this folder created by program name (using the metadata of image or something else, besides)?

    Thank you very much.

Duplicate preset "Name of the Source as folder name Export folder" and name it "My folder Switcheroo" or something else, then

    change:

    local srcDir = LrPathUtils.parent (srcPath)

    local dirName = LrPathUtils.leafName (srcDir)

    local newDir = LrPathUtils.standardizePath (LrPathUtils.child (dir, dirName))

    TO:

    local srcParentDir = LrPathUtils.parent (srcPath)

    local srcParentDirName = LrPathUtils.leafName (srcParentDir)

    local srcGrandParentDir = LrPathUtils.parent (srcParentDir)

    local srcGrandParentDirName = LrPathUtils.leafName (srcGrandParentDir)

local newDir = LrPathUtils.standardizePath (LrPathUtils.child (dir, srcParentDirName... " " .. srcGrandParentDirName)) - path of standardization is not necessary in this case, but isn't bad either.

That's all (attention to typos...), once you have inserted the filter "Custom Naming" and "Custom file Naming" enabled, I mean.

  • Metadata sharing strategy

    Hello
In the SOA standard install you have a SOA infrastructure repository of metadata.
When AIA is installed AIAMetadata is then added to this repository.
AIAMetadata contains the abstract WSDL, xsd, etc for all enterprise-level objects.
We have development, Test and Production SOA servers each with their own metadata. We have a correction system that deploys the metadata on each server.
It crossed my mind that we could have a single metadata store and connect three SOA servers to this one. There are already strict rules for adding metadata files, so this shouldn't be a problem. There is also the need for other systems (servers of the ADF, OSB, etc.) for access to the abstract WSDL. This would avoid all management issues involved in the creation of metadata in Dev and needing to be moved from one system to.
What are the best methods to share metadata from business among environments?
    Thank you
    Robert

    Robert,
While your sensible thoughts on the conceptual level, there are technical constraints which would not allow a central MDS for your environments. If you look more closely at your MDS, you will not find only the AIA metadata that you described, but also data specific environment such as composites deployed for a SOA infrastructure that is connected to the MDS.

So the best parctise at this point is to keep the source of the truth of your AIA meta data shared on the file system, usually managed by a source code control system. You use a file system level tool to keep the metadata in your homes synced necessary AIA and then use the usual deployment AIA tools to get this moved to each MDS. I guess that's what you're already doing anyway.

  • All properties in metadata (incl. IPTC) scriptable?

Hello. Right now I'm working on a JavaScript which will be included in an action. I want to achieve this metadata are written on behalf of the name of documents. It already works very well in it's early, but my problem is, I'm not able to write all the information (-> IPTC) metadata I want. In the JavaScript reference Guide, there are only a few parameters indicated. My questions are: is there more parameters available or is - that just the fact that this information cannot be written by Photoshop (e-mail, telephone, etc.). And the second: it is possible to load metadata with a special parameter presets?

    Thanks in advance.

It depends on the version of Photoshop, you have, the following example should work on CS4 or better.

    #target photoshop

    putMeta(testFile ,"[email protected]","01274555555");

  • First change the data 'création Date' photos

I don't know if others have seen this, but I found it's a major problem. I submitted to the bugs database, but I wanted to see if this is an isolated incident or if others are experiencing the same and, if so, if we can get Adobe to fix this bug as soon as possible.

In short, I have found that when I import photos in first (to make a slide show or a timelapse or what-have-you), first replaces the original "creation date" metadata and file info from the photo. It is extremely problematic because in my company, we have a lot of pictures we need to arrange by date in the finder window. Be the first to substitute the date of creation is very annoying. We worked on a work around that rename us all files when we first have to capture, but it's not very satisfying long-term. It is easy to change a file name; It must not be easy to change the time of the "creation date". To demonstrate:

Here's a screenshot I just took. Under Mac OSX, that the screenshot feature automatically names the file according to when the screenshot was taken, so who will provide a frame of reference as we go along. Here is the details pane of the screenshot:

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.07.22 AM.png

Note that the creation is 10:06. Also note the time of metadata when I look at the screenshot in Adobe Bridge:

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.16.02 AM.png

Still 10:06. So far so good. Now import this picture in first (in case you're wondering, I did it by bringing via the media browser, but the bug remains the same, if drag you it in the project Panel).

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.17.31 AM.png

Of course, you will notice, this creation does not read the 'creation date' metadata, but it is a strange thing that happened for a while. If all goes well it will get fixed soon.

Anyway, if I look at the info panel is now the original photo or in Adobe Bridge, the 'creation date' time was replaced by when I imported the photo into the first (which happened at 10:17):

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.20.05 AM.pngScreen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.20.27 AM.png

So, I think it's a major problem. I can't believe this is how "it is supposed to work." Importing a file just in first should not change its data file. Please respond if you have had this same problem, and maybe we can get adobe to fix it as soon as possible.

To turn this off, uncheck the box "Write XMP IDS to files on Import" in the preferences of the media Panel, or do the readonly files.

  • Startup option stopped working

I USED to have the value "windows and tabs from last time", but it is no longer useful.
so I changed it to "show the selected Session Manager session".

    Alas, he refuses to do.

I keep trying this option over and over again, without success.

and even if I'm here, he also refused to use the cache.
every day, it downloads all the news pages (it is CERTAINLY sensitive!).

    What gives?

There are various internal and external mechanisms to clear the Firefox cache.

For the internal mechanisms, you can verify that this preference is set to false:

    privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown

or if she has the true value, make sure that the next preference is set to false:

    privacy.clearOnShutdown.cache

(Corresponds to the Options > privacy > clear history of Firefox closing)

Also, make sure that you are not in the mode "permanent private browsing." https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/private-browsing-browse-Web-without-saving-info#w_how-do-i-always-start-Firefox-in-private-browsing

For the external mechanisms, check the options in programs that clear the caches such as CCleaner.

Finally, it is possible for the metadata file corrupted cache files. In this case, you may need to quit Firefox everything manually delete the cache folder and then start over again. I've never tried it myself, so I suggest that in waiting for other comments before trying it.
