    Hello world

    Question 1:
Last week, I got my Windows 7 Upgrade DVD from Toshiba. I'm leaving has upgrade and after 5 hours, the upgrade was complete. I have encountered a problem that the automated driver installed on the endgame wrong on the update of the BIOS because it is trying to write the backup file of the BIOS on the DVD. After a lot of pressure on the keys, I managed to get the installation to carry and then did the BIOS manually updated later. This succeeded and it updated to V4.80.

Since the update of the BIOS, the fan noise is much stronger. I noticed it's from the fan that is to the right of the envelope, I guess it is the CPU fan. The fan that blows air on the left side of aeration wors as usual. Any suggestions? Should I get the BIOS, if so, how can I restore from the file BIOS.bak WinPHlash is?

  • Aspire x 3950 - after windows 10 upgrade dvd/cd drivers missing

After upgrade windows 10 cd/dvd drivers disappeared. Microsoft technicians have worked on this for 4 days could not find the problem. Can't argue with acer because the product is not under warranty. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I don't have a recommendation on how to solve this problem, other than to go back to the previous installation of Windows. You can try to ensure that all Windows updates are installed. If that doesn't fix it, my best suggestion is to roll back. Given that this system was not qualified to upgrade the windows 10, we offer 10 Windows drivers for this product.

Maybe someone else will have a suggestion on how to make it work you can try.

  • lost start button in Windows 8 upgrade

I graduated Windows 7 to windows 8 and the Start button on my taskbar to the desktop disappeared, how do I restore this?

The start menu as you know, no longer exist in Windows 8. It has been replaced by the start screen, which is the first thing you see when you connect to your PC in Windows 8.

To access your applications, just scroll to the right.

To launch your applications, go to the start, screen by pointing your mouse pointer on the left corner of the screen of Windows 8 and click on it.

Do scroll to the right and start your application.

You can also lock your favorite applications to the start screen or from the taskbar.

To display all the applications installed on your computer, click with the right mouse button on an empty spot on the start screen, and then click applications.

  • Dual boot possible w / addition of windows 7 upgrade CD?

I have a CD of free upgrade to windows 7, which had been communicated with my vista pc purchase. I don't want to do the widows 7 level installation on Vista. I want to be able to run two operating systems and have both available to choose from at the start upward. Is this possible? Windows 7 will have a new license or it'll be the same as that and let me not turn vista more? If possible, Windows 7 can be installed on the existing Vista split section (D :) & be available at startup or must it be installed on a separate drive?)

Sorry, you cannot use both Vista and Windows 7 with a upgrade version. You will need to purchase a full version of dual boot.

You can purchase a full version of Windows 7 here (or at a local store):

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/cat/CategoryID.44066700

Windows 7 EULA Dual Boot requires full license

If you install Windows 7 on a different partition and dual boot with XP or Vista, you need the full version.

Each partition on a hard disk is considered to be a separate computer, and the software 'Upgrade' does not continue to use the software that you upgraded.

    Windows 7 EULA:

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

  • Windows 7 upgrade license dvd for installation complete?

I bought a box PC with Vista installed a paid to get windows 7 upgrade dvd.

The computer has since died. and I wonder is my product key for windows 7 valid for a full install on a new empty hard disk for the new PC I build or what I have to buy a new copy of Windows 7?

Even if a upgrade license can be transferred to another computer, unfortunately this computer must have a license of qualification. This does mean that it cannot be applied to a clean PC then Yes, you may need to purchase a new license.

If this isn't a brand PC just to check the label of the COA of the former. It is unlikely, but if it was not an OEM license in the 1st place it would be moved.

  • Qosmio X 300 - 15U - key product for Windows 7 upgrade disc

    Hi all
    first post here :)

I have a Qosmio X 300 15U and just bought DVD update for the operating system: to Vista64 for Windows 7 (home premium).
I got it by Toshiba Windows 7 upgrade site.

I installed the upgrade and it works fine, so far.
Only possible problem for the future, is that I can't find product key label Windows 7 attached to the case of paper (probably lost) DVD
I have the DVD (for other series, almost...)

Anyone know if it is possible to make the Toshiba support, send my old Windows 7 key product or a new (only in the case of reinstall...)
It also appears that Microsoft has validated my install via their tool (WGA, I think)
I have to go back to using MS (paid), for such a (simple, for me) case?
    Hope not.

    Thank you very much.

    Bye,.

    Diego

I don't know if Toshiba can send you a new label productkey, you must call the assistance service. But to find your product, you need a key research tool.

  • Reinstall the Windows 7 upgrade

My Gateway PC crashed and I tried to restore with the Windows 7 Upgrade dvd and it did load up and installed and then stop to restart. Once it restarted, the screen works reconfiguration and became black. After trying to restart several times I kept getting a black screen on several occasions, I then did a clean installation of the OEM Windows Vista Home Premium and then tried to load Windows 7 upgrade - same thing with the black screen.  Did an another clean install of Vista and this time I have activated Vista with the slui.exe 4 and activation has been refused. I then took the license key number on the back of the gateway PC and did a change windows license key then slui.exe 4 and it has been properly activated OEM Windows Vista with activation of the phone.
At this point, I'm with an its own Active Window Vista Home Premium and need to know how the used the Windows 7 upgrade disc for windows 7 load on my pc without any problem of black screen. I appreciate any help on this.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

Its possible your installation media can be damaged, try to get a new copy:
