PoV locked in FDQM to intermediate user 2

Hi all

Probably it s a basic thing that miss me. We have 2 users admin FDQM who has access to all locations. Recently, we have added a 3rd user with 'All THE intermediaries' access to a single location. We have limited the updated mapping and some other administration tasks for all intermediate using management objects and everything is fine. The user also has access to its location.

However, when this new user tries to change the poV (period), he receives a message that PoV has been locked by administrators. We grant this user the ability to change the period if he wishes.

Locking system to Admins State is OPEN. In addition, we have tried to "Unlock all places" by one of the admin user, but the problem persists.

I couldn't see a grant related to the selection of PoV in the management of objects.

What could be the problem or am I missing a step?
Thank you

Just a note:

"All intermediaries" are not a security level that you should be assigned to user accounts. This is intended to be used for the security of the objects menu to allow you to set access to a particular object for users of "all intermediaries."

User accounts must be assigned to a certain security level intermediate particular, such as Intermidate-2 or intermediate-5, etc.

For the locked message POV, this view comes to live in the audit and presentation?

  • All locked or disabled to restart user accounts

    I was faced with a problem with my user accounts getting locked out/disabled every time that I reboot my system. I can't start in safe mode, I can't run the system restore, I can't do anything but run a startup disk that will allow me to unlock locked accounts and remove the passwords so now that I'm stuck without the disc I'm totally locked out of my system.

    I am not connect to any network or something like that so they aren't locking me. I think it's Windows or a virus, but I've scanned several times my virus from the system.

    I realize maybe there's not much I can do until I have retrieve the boot disk, but I want to solve this problem, so it is not keep happening to me.

    Hi Mchase34,

    You will need to make arrangements for the drive of the Windows operating system. Once you have the startup disk, and then follow the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

  • How to lock access to the application user interface?

    Hello

    Our user interface application is configured to start automatically in the background when the BlackBerry is turned on.

    We have a configuration property (ShowUserInterface) in the application that will allow users to access the user interface by clicking on the application icon.

    Application continues to run in the background regardless of whether or not the ShowUserInterface configuration setting is 1 or 0.

    If the device is configured with ShowUserInterface = 1, the user interface does not appear to the user until the user clicks on the icon of the application. If the user closes or closes the application then it will continue to run in the background and maintain its condition.

    By clicking on the application icon again will open the application in its state of the screen.

    If the device is configured with ShowUserInterface = 0, then the user interface does not appear even when the driver click on the application icon.

    Please help how to achieve this?

    A code snippet

    public class MyApplication extends UiApplication
    {
        private Configuration config;

        private BackGroundThread _thread;

        public static boolean fromService = true;

        // Boot
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            if (args != null && args.length > 0 && args[0].equals("gui")) {
                // code to initialize the app by icon click
                fromService = false;
                MyApplication app = new MyApplication();
                app.enterEventDispatcher();
            } else {
                MyApplication app = new MyApplication();
                app.enterEventDispatcher();
            }
        }

        public MyApplication() {
            if (fromService) {
                _thread = new BackGroundThread(); // create a new separate thread
                _thread.start(); // start the thread

            } else {
                if (config.isShowUserInterface()) {
                    pushScreen(new LoginScreen());
                } else {
                    // what to do here?
                }
            }
        }
    }

    When the user clicks on the icon of the application and config.isShowUserInterface () = false in this case I'm not pushing any screen of the application. It is for me only IU lost Focus error.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Look at acceptsForeground().  I think that you can simply return config.isShowUserInterface ().

  • Player 11 locks up for a single user, but the other user on the PC 'EVEN' works very well!

    Hello Adobe and group. I tried all of the recommended patches that I can find. Windows 7 Home Premium perfectly up-to-date. Uninstall/reinstall adobe, accept the eula, remove the hard drive and run anti-virus/malware/spyware/kasperskyrootkit programs on my test PC. No solution. VERY strange that one user can be logged on to the PC and the drive works fine weather the other user is logged in or not. Another user opens 11 reader and it crashes instantly and permanently until the end of the task by the Manager tasks.

    Of all my reading, it looks like a recurring problem. Is there a real solution for this? Please share if so!

  • Lock a planning for the user application

    Hello

    It is possible to block the planning application for all users in the planning (Administration-> Application settings-> activate using the application for: Admin)

    Is it possible to make the same remote control? For example with a batch file? Y at - it all utility *.cmd in planning/bin order?

    Thank you very much for your help,
    Ilias

    There is no utility to directly modify the parameters, it is possible to use LCM to import the application settings and this can be processed by batch upward, the alternative would be to update the database relational planning although this may require a restart of the application web planning.

  • Install VISTA SP2 - all my old documents are "locked by another user.

    I used Windows update to install the Vista SP2 and now all my existing documents came as "locked by another user", or in the case of older documentation and worksheets in read-only or corrupt.  The docs are very good, I can copy it to another machine and they work.  In addition, the file attributes are NOT marked read-only.  Any ideas?  I was going to cancel, but the restoration of the system shows no point of restoration before the update, even if I manually created a Saturday.

    Hi tearnott,

    Thank you for using answers Forum.

    Have you tried creating a new user as suggested by Debbie?

    I found this on the desktop support site:
    http://Office.Microsoft.com/en-us/Word/HA011406121033.aspx

    If you cannot make changes to a document, your Word program cannot be enabled, the document can be locked for editing or protected by password, or you could try to modify a document or text in a protected form.

    Note   You cannot edit an open document in Word Viewer, but you can copy text to the Clipboard to paste into other applications.

    This command is not available because the document is locked for editing

    If you see the following message when you try to modify a document in Word 2003 or Word 2002: "this command is not available because the document is locked for editing" your Word program can not be activated. To check, follow these steps:

    • On the help menu, click Activate Product .

      If Word is enabled, a message tells you that the product has already been activated. If Word is not enabled, the Office Activation Wizard appears to guide you through the activation process.

    Note   You can open a Word document, even if the program is not activated, but you cannot use many commands and you cannot save the document.

    The document is locked for editing by another user

    If you see the following message when you try to modify a document in Word 2000 or Word 2002: "the document is locked for editing by another user," Word previously might have shut down improperly while the file is still open.

    The document can also be locked from editing if the original version of the document is already open, or if the document is shared over a network and another user opened. This applies to Word 2000, 2002 and 2003.

    Note   If the Group similar taskbar buttons is selected, the original version of the document can be open without your realizing it. Click Word in the Windows task bar to see the names of all the Word documents that are open.

    Your document is protected by a password

    If the owner of the protected the document with a password (including a blank password), you might be limited to read-only access unless you enter the password. If you forget or lose a password, you cannot change the document.

    This modification not allowed because the document is locked

    If you see this message at the bottom of the application window when you try to modify a document: "This unauthorized change because the document is locked," the document is protected by a restriction of amendment no changes (read only) or comments in Word 2003 (or a restriction of comments in Word 2002 and Word 2000). The author of the document to restrict editing features to protect the Document. Menu commands may also be unavailable, depending on the permissions granted to your by the author of the document.

    Note   When you open a document protected by Information Rights Management (IRM) in Word 2003, you might have permission to view the document but not to change it. When you open the document, the Office shared workspace pane opens by default on the right side of the application window. In the task pane, click View My permissions to see your permissions.

  • 'File name' is locked for editing by 'Client', why not show the correct user account

    A .xls file created by MS Excel 2003 and saved on the server files (Windows Server 2008 R2 without Service Pack).

    We have two users: A and c. accounts of A and C join same above file server's domain. A approval of the admin on the server, C is a common user. The version of MS Excel on the pc is 2010, although it is 2003 for C.

    C tries to open a file on the server and it has the change permission on the file and the file, however, the file is locked for editing by 'administrator '. For the moment, no one opens this file, so which is 'Administrator'?

    More tests:

    (1) once A open file C is reached, there is message: file is locked for editing by 'Client', so why shows 'Client' instead of a correct domain account?

    (2) after C opens the file and then A is reached, there is message: file is locked for a domain C user account. So it seems OK.

  • I locked myself in one of my user accounts - I have reset the password and can not remember what it is

    URGENT! -I'm locked in one of my user accounts - the system won't let me not reset the password

    You said that you had to reset the password, but forget what it is.
    Do you then remember the previous password?
    1. If you remember the previous password until you did reset.
    2. If you have the DVD drive or Vista repair.
    3. If there is a restore point which a logon succeeded.
    This works in cases where you changed your password to something new and then has forgotten or deleted a user account by accident. So that this works, there must be a restore point from the system during which logging has managed for the account of the problem. In addition, this isn't a problem if you are in a domain environment because the domain administrator can always reset your password.

    If you meet the above conditions, then use this tutorial:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/how-to-regain-access-to-your-administrator-account-in-Windows-Vista-using-system-restore/

    Otherwise, we are not allowed to help users to bypass the password protection, regardless of what are "reasons".

  • Is possible to set a user by default POV to all users at the same time?

    Hello world...

    I develop a report with the financial report and I want to set a default value for a dimension in the POV for all users. Because when I set a POV on my report it apply only to the user that I use for preparing the report. Other users connect to this report, it sets a default value of values other than the values that I have set myself. I tried to use a form of POV. It applies to the POV, I'm set for all users, but I am able to work with a grid at the same time.

    PS: Sorry if I wasn't clear enough!

    Kind regards
    Rafael Melo - Brazil

    Hi Rafael

    The ManageUserPov.properties will only fix the POV for one or more users at a specific point in time. As soon as a user opens a report and changes of this POV, then it is lost.

    I know what you're trying to do, but I don't think that there is a way to apply the kind of logic that you hope.

    There is a way of (or certainly used to be a way of) hardcode the POV in the report URL. I am sure that this worked when prior workspace Hyperion financial reports used to have its own web client. It's thinking is the basis of the road that linked the statement of work, that's why I suggested that you look at. You could try to find a way to open the report by substituting the POV by using this hard-coding in the URL or go with my original plan of hard coding a "landing page" type report with your default POV and then use reports related to take the user following a report in which they can change the POV as they wish.

    Hope this helps
    Stuart
