1. make sure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest graphics card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the last to make sure this isn't a last number one driver. If you have already experienced with the driver of the card later and earlier versions, please try the driver beta for your card.

2 remove and replace AVG with built-in Windows Defender from Windows 8 for temporary troubleshooting purposes, as it is probably cause conflicts:

Windows Defender (how to activate after removal)

A. go toControl Panel (with icons). You can do this by typingStart > Search > Panel. Once in the Control Panel change the drop-down menu of thecategory to large or small icons.

(B) among the list of icons, and then click Action Center.

C. assuming that the deletion of your previous anti-virus software went correctly, you will notice to unexpected and spyware software (important) protection and Virus protection (important), it will be a button labeled turn on now. Click on this button (no matter that, as Windows Defender is as well used in Windows 8/8.1).

  • W3 - 810 driver Power State failure error (BSOD)

I have a W3-810 Iconia I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. During a recent update to the 2016 office, I had a blue screen and an error message that a failure of State driver had taken place and the computer needed to restart. After a few moments, the computer restarted and I was able to complete the installation of Office 2016. I remember getting this error during upgrade to Windows 10. Recently, while watching a YouTube video, the Tablet locked up and I got the blue screen again, with the same "Driver Power State Failure" error again. I check the Device Manager and noticed that in the "system devices" all of the "Intel platform dynamics and thermal framework (DPTF)" associates pilots had yellow flags indicating that the drivers did not work properly. When I tried to update the drivers I get a message that the latest drivers are installed.

Someone at - it recommendations to solve this problem? Should I uninstalled all the drivers DPTF and reinstall? Thank you.

Update: I drove all DPTF drivers in back to version 6.2.9200.30457 Device Manager and then restarted the computer. I tested the computer to see if I could cause a BSOD pilot State failure occurred earlier today and it does not happen again. I hope that this solves the problem. Thank you.

Those showed all CAUSE as a Windows component that means something different it led into error.
Then ZIP or RAR the actuall minidump files and download them on SkyDrive and post a link here for us

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This "might" be a power problem, even if this isn't the most common cause - in this case
It seems that the PSU could be the fault.

9F is probably a driver issue. Security/antivirus/antispware programs can also cause these issues.
Have you added the recent devices or the updated drivers - don't forget to check in the Windows updates to see
If a driver has been updated before this happen. This can also be caused by a loose card or cable
and even a weak power supply.

This error means that a driver does not properly support the power state. Check in Control Panel - device
Manager to ensure that the drivers are not stop during sleep - double-click adapter - NETWORK adapter
and WIFI - healthy and others - tab power management - uncheck allow the computer to turn off.
Maybe the only has a problem.

Start - type in the search - find MSCONFIG in top - right, click on – RUN AS ADMIN

General tab - tick this box start Diagnostic - APPLY / OK - REBOOT

Try it now. If the computer still blue screens thinks that video driver. Otherwise think the card NETWORK, Wifi, sound, or...
(and it might still be video interacts with something else). See following message for my
    generic driver update methods.

A DMP was related to your video driver nvlddmkm.sys takes too long to respond.  In order to make sure you need run driver verifier

    Driver Verifier
Using Driver Verifier is a dubious proposition. Most of the time it will crash and it will tell you what is the driver.

But sometimes it will crash and will not tell you the driver.
Sometimes it will crash until you can connect to Windows. If you can't mode without failure, then you will have to resort to editing the registry offline to disable driver verifier.
I suggest that you first back up your data and make sure you have access to another computer so you can contact us in case of problems.
Then do a system restore point (so you can restore the system using the functionality of Vista/Win7 Startup Repair).

    Here is the procedure:

Click Start and type "auditor" (without the quotes) and press enter
Select 'Create a custom settings (for code developers)' and click 'Next' (or Type "check/standard/all" (without the quotes) If you want to check each of them (this will slow down your computer))

Choose "Select custom settings from a full list" and click "Next".
Select the entire document except for "Low resource Simulation" to win 8 do not check concurrency stress test and the verification of the conformity of DDI, click "next".
Select "Select driver names from a list", then click "next".
Select all drivers that are NOT provided by Microsoft, and then click "Next".
On the next page, select "Finish".
Restart the system and wait as he crashed to blue screen.
Continue to use your system normally and if you know what are the causes of the crash, do it several times. The objective here is to get the system crash because Driver Verifier is stressing out the drivers. If it is not planted for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation.
If you are unable to Windows because it crashes too early, try safe mode.
If you can't mode without fail, try to use the system from the installation DVD restore to bring the system back to the previous point of restoration that you created.

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

It says error you found a driver that is not normally compatible with Vista, however, that the error only occurs when the computer enters standby or hibernation or wake up from standby or hibernation.

You have the external devices connected to the USB or Firewire ports?  If so, disconnect one at a time and see if the problem goes away.  If Yes, then you have found the culprit.

  • Windows 8 disk failure

I have this problem whenever my micro sd card in my HP Envy X 2

I was never able to use the micro sd card correctly in the envy of hp x 2. This is a 64 gb sd hc card, I tried a 16 GB sdhc as

    The errors I get is

b when the files copied, it does not show on the screen when I have completed more than 25 GB. The first few records are perfect. After that the files do not appear in the folder (folder say empty)

b I had re - copy. the files apparently copied with the same error as above

    (c) when I use any antivirus/windows Defender, in these (invisible) files are also scanned

Once the micro sd card is inserted, about 50% of the time, the computer crashes with the error of the driver power state failure

As advised that the files have been downloaded on the following link

Mirco sd works well with my other laptops

Windows 8 is used which came with the desire to HP X 2

The same questions keep when I use an sd adapter in the keyboard dock

There is no memory.dmp that exists in C:\windows

    SC

The two memory DMP is practically useless and corrupt. What ever driver crashes the system has a fatal error that crashes the system so fast is impossible to write the DMP file.  For this reason, I suggest you make sure that you are not infected, check the operating system (running SFC) and then run Driver Verifier to know which driver is wrong to behave.

    1. run Malwarebytes

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update immediately. CA
Do a full scan of the system
Let us know the results at the end.

2 run a file system check

To run a check of the filesystem (CFS)

    Open a cmd high window

(Go to start > type CMD > right click and run as administrator)
    Type SFC/scannow
You may need to run this upward to 3 times.
Let us know the results at the end
    Run the driver verifier
