She does when turned on is stage 3 of 3 0% stops and does over and over again. I have an external hard drive but can't even use it at this point because of the re-closure.

  • Specifications Manager not applying custom settings do not to clone

    Hello

I have a picture of clone Win2008 R2 Server, it is Sysprep and power off. I created an answer file through the specifications of customization Manager and when I cloned the server I chose this model parameters. The clone is created successfully, but when I have the power to get the Mini Setup and settings that I've specified are not applied as if the settings file has been completely ignored.

I used the command sysprep in the build of the server (c:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe)

The clues where to start troubleshooting? I went through the requirements doc, creating a clone and a doc of parameters

It looks pretty - free create a virtual machine, sysprep it (generalize), clone and apply the settings file created from the CSM. Turn on the newly cloned virtual computer. But the settings are not applied, have I missed something?

    Thank you

In this case, which is the stage that 'syspreps' it? -When you arrive at 'comments' customization that is actually performing this part?

If you try to deploy an older operating system like Win 2003 model, you should see the 'comments' customization isn't available until you have copied the necessary sysprep files on the vCenter server.

This isn't necessary for Vista, 7, 2008 + because the necessary sysprep files are in the operating system natively...
What if all you have to do is to install your 2008 VM and configure it as needed, close, convert model and then start the deployment using your selected customization. The settings defined in your additional is then injected into the invited during the deployment operating system...

  • XPS 8700 Fax / Data modem not recognized after mode 'sleep'

I have an internal modem installed pci-e.  After the system goes into sleep mode, the modem is not recognized.  Resolution is to draw the pci-e card, restart the system, then stop again, re - install the Fax/data modem and it is recognized, until the system goes into sleep or stop mode.

How can I keep the device recognition, didn't have to pull on the map and re-insert/install whenever I start?

When I look at the Device Manager after the mode standby or shutdown, the device will display hidden and not connected to the system.

System BIOS is updated to the current 10 A

Always include the version of Windows in your messages.

You may need to change sleep settings and possibly disable hybrid sleep by using the Windows power options, and/or adjust the power options in the BIOS Setup.

  • Satellite A60-392: Failure of Power Saver Setup? Help me

    Hello world
I have a Toshiba a60-392. I reinstalled Windows XP Pro in my book. Then I tried to install the Toshiba Power Saver. The installation seems to be okay. On the last screen, when I pressed the "Finish" button, it causes a fatal error. Then if I try to run the Toshiba power from the control panel Manager, it says that I have no right to do so. Finally, if I try to uninstall it, it causes the same fatal error during the installation process. The error message is: "a fatal error has occurred. The program will end. "Code: 0x7E. So I'm a little desperate. Any ideas?

  • Setup Active Power Scheme for energy saving by program

    Hello

I am a software developer and I would like to create a small utility for myself which can change and set the active power for Toshiba Power Saver utility mode.

There is a function of Platform SDKs 'SetActivePwrScheme' to do a similar thing

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/library/en-us/power/base/setactivepwrscheme.asp

but it works for windows only, builtin power plans not for Toshiba Power saver.

Is it possible to put the active scheme of the Toshiba Power Saver utility?

Thanks for the advice in advance:

I'm not sure that you will find an answer to your question here in the forum. It is more a question for programmers.

In addition I don't think you'll find any saving code details. I think that these internal and non-accessible information for everyone.

  • Initial setup of TouchPad: device will not power on!

This morning I received my new 32 gb WiFi HP TouchPad by mail. I opened the content and began to charge the device. following the quick start guide. When I plugged my charger microUSB button began flashing (alternating left and right). Then I went to class for a few hours a returned (4 + hours elapsed). I returned home to find my HP TouchPad with a screen empty and the central button continues to Flash as before.

I tried to simply hold the power button (for more than a minute), holding power + Center (for more than a minute), holding power + several times by selecting Center, power + volume-to the top (usb mode), but none of these actions have given a different result. No low battery indicator, no logo of HP, still blinking Center button. I hope that the camera simply doesn't have enough charge still, but with each passing hour, I'm starting to think more and more that this is not the question as a whole.

Everyone knows the same symptoms as me, and if so, what measures have you taken to get your device to start the first time? Also just to clarify, should I try the hard reset with the power connected yet? (This is what I tried)

This diagnostic process seems quite useless, and it's starting to make me anxious. A solution of the community would be much appreciated before that I have to go visit my shrink for advice.

All humor, thank you in advance for your comments.

    -Devin

Thank you for your response. I already tried this several times, without any successful results. Should I try it with the power supply connected?

    Edit:

I found a solution! (A very ghetto one at that)

The cable for my phone HTC microUSB is slightly damaged, it becomes disconnected and can be shaken around when you are connected to the device easily. Using this cable, as well as the power adapter supplied by HP, I plugged the end microUSB for the TouchPad. Using the end of a pair of pliers, tweezers, I then supported the connector so that it would be flush with the device. About five minutes later, the backlight then on and displays the low battery indicator.

I have attached a photo in case someone else has this problem in the future. CM9 here I come!

  • That means "bad connections" warning to the average of the Mail account setup?

The Mail account setup dialog box, the works of autodetect IMAP, but after clicking "Done", a warning is displayed (see image), declaring "Thunderbird may allow you to get your mail using the supplied configurations." However, you must contact your administrator or your e-mail provider about these incorrect connections. See the Thunderbird FAQ for more information. ».
I checked the Thunderbird FAQ (or what is the information that I found) but there is no explanation of this warning.

    On the connection used:

-C' is a working IMAP with STARTTLS on port 143

-the server is using a self-signed certificate (not expired), which Thunderbird complains not in the warning

-with the help of a Setup from another existing SMTP account (no control in the Mail account setup dialog box)

So I ask myself, what this warning is really all.
    Best regards

Watch dialog box seems to occur only if:

    • There is an e-mail account, SMTP outgoing self-signed certificate
    • The new e-mail account uses the only existing outgoing SMTP Protocol

This could be a default in Thunderbird 31.7.0, because there is only one such warning dialog to the configuration of the e-mail account that is used for reporting several different problems. The code (source Thunderbird: mailnews/base/prefs/content/accountcreation/emailWizard.js) power switches of the incoming and outgoing messages, but in this particular case, it seems to turn off all messages - which leaves just the text displayed in the screenshot - compare to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/server-doesn ' t-use-encryption

When you use a new profile without all accounts in Thunderbird 31.7.0, new account creation work without such a warning.

  • Setup worked, installation does not

Make bootable El Capitan article Apple Setup worked well. Boot the installer worked well. Seemd installation works well but I got stuck saying "less than a minute" for a very long time. I tried with several usb keys and got the same result every time.

No clue on hiw to solve this problem? Are there limitations as installation on external ssd?

First of all: Please make sure that the installation is blocked. You can check this by pressing Cmd + L to display the log. Check that the files are not installed.

If it's really really stuck: press and hold the power button to turn off the Mac and press the power button to start. Wait to see if the bar progresses. (You can bring up the Log window again.)

If this does not work, restart the Mac while pressing Cmd, Option, P, and R. This will reset the NVRAM. Wait for the computer to restart and wait to see if it starts to update.

  • Video stops or doesn't show even "in power saving Mode" on Presario S4000V

I have a Presario S4000V with a PNY GeForce FX5500 DDR 128 MB video card. The display does at all when starting or stops anywhere from start up through successful display Windows. When the screen turns off, press any button on the front panel on the monitor to display 'in Power Save Mode press any key on keyboard or move mouse', but none of the measures have no effect.

Move the video card to a different location or using another monitor makes no difference and I can't find any setting to change in the CMOS Setup or properties which solves the problem of display Windows.

Any suggestion would be appreciated gratefully.

Replace the graphics card. Problem solved.

  • Satellite Pro L650 turns off after start; DC In and Power LEDs blink on stop

A friend Satellite Pro L650 having worked well until yesterday, all of a sudden turned itself off. Now, at startup, it lights up normally for about 10-15 seconds before turning off suddenly. Turned off, the DC in white/blue LED and the orange Power LED Flash on a broad set of intervals of approximately one second. This extinction happens if I leave Windows or press F2 to enter the BIOS setup.

I guess this blinking is intended to serve as a kind of diagnostic code, but I have yet to track down what it means. Can anyone help?

To avoid confusion, power without the product stack the same, sudden stop experience, except the two LEDs remain solidly lit this time. With or without battery, trying to turn on again immediately after that a shutdown produced no response at all. Remove the power cable and immediately it reconnect again and turn then produced a brutal power off, but in less than 5 seconds. More wait between attempts to market seems to give a little longer powered on State, but without fault, the machine turns off just suddenly. With its short time 'turned on' we are talking, there cannot be any kind of thermal protection?

I had an old Satellite L450D lying around that uses coincidentally the same AC PA-1750 adapter, but use it made no difference. Of course, the battery does not have the L650!

The only previous numbers, that I am aware of this machine have been intermittent case of Windows reporting "Plugged in, not charging", but as my friend use it exclusively on the network, it was not a problem.

Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated...

    WTF?
