Powered by DNSUnlocker

Hi all

I use iOS iPad Mini 2 8.3. I found untimely when popup they surf the net by Safari. "Powered by DNSUnlocker" and "ad DNSUnlocker" always appear on the online shopping site and some blog site.

I did erase history data and the Safari Web thru site "settings > Safari > clear history and data from the Web site" and restart the iPad. DNSUnlocker popup always appears. I also trigger the screenshot and attached on this post.

Could you please help me understand this issue?

If you return to the same Web sites after erasure of history data and the Safari Web site, you always have the pop-up? If you get only the pop-up when visiting this site (or sites), there is a good chance the site is full of malicious ads. If you get the pop-up little matter what sites you visit, check your router for possible violations.

What is happening on both a Macbook Pro running Yosemite and on an iOS8.4.1 running of the iPhone 6

At first, based on the research on these forums and others I just assumed it was a network delivers. However, the ads are now appear on several networks wi - fi on both devices. I have not downloaded anything all suspicious sites or clicking on attachments not verified or links in emails, so completely baffled about the culprit. Also, interesting to note that the ads are appeared only on blogs and new Web sites, I didn't know all the ads on corporate or ecommerce sites.

I erased all the data navigation, cache and cookies in Firefox, Safari and Chrome. I also uninstalled Firefox and Chrome. None of the browsers showed all unauthorized or suspicious extensions.

On iPhone, it seems that I'm mostly limited to touching almost all data from Safari, but also a gentle restoration, I've done both. Also, to note I didn't know all the ads on Chrome iOS app, just Safari and the Facebook app using their built-in browser.

I have attached a few images here. Comments and guidance is appreciated.

  • A 'Powered USB Port' does not work on Mac Mini

I have an external POWERED USB multiport block. When I plug the Superdrive into a Port powered on the unit, which of course is connected to my Mac Mini (2012) the Superdrive not even she acts as if it is connected and will not accept a disc. All ports are USB 3.0. I'm so uncertain that the Superdrive will work on any USB port other than the one on the Mac itself. Any advice? I El Capitan installed, but it has worked that way before the upgrade.

  • Autonomy of the powerful transformer vs. OK to use?

    Hello

We all charge our Apple devices in a variety of ways: through the port on laptops to 5W low USB phone wall adapters for iPad adapters. At the present time, I have a combination of gadgets with their own adapters; the most powerful is the 11W one for my iPad Air. Because now I have so many devices that require simultaneous Chargers, I thought I'd do a couple of additional adapters, probably one for the large iPad (15W). I can also convert a couple of wall sockets. These outputs 2. 1A @5v it is 10W. Here's my question:

I know that a device will draw only enough juice for its own needs and so there is no problem to use a 15W for an iPhone adapter for examples. However, I also know that the low amp load is better for the life of the battery (for example load 200mA only AA batteries for example). Are Apple devices 'smart' enough to regulate how they charge? Or if you only use the amperage/power appropriate for the device in question?

    Thank you!

  • A powered USB hub will support Ethernet / USB?

Wifi in my office is uneven, so I need to wire a Macbook Pro (if that's the term). Because the Macbook Pro is not an ethernet port, I get an ethernet cable / USB. I also get a USB hub with an AC adapter.

I know that you should not the ethernet cable / USB in a hub that is normal because it won't have enough power. But a powered hub will provide enough power for thin ethernet connection? (This laptop gets transported frequently, so I want to minimize the number of items that need to be plugged in every time.)

    Is my mac powerful enough

It depends on what model you have.  See "about this Mac" from the Apple menu, then download the free app Mactracker since:

Select your model of macbook air and look under the tab "memory and graphics.

It seems that the models after 2012 are capable of driving 2 monitors.

You probably can as your power source can provide the necessary power required by the MBA. I think it's around 40 watts to load or operation of the charger. Just check the ability to power AC charger. Of course, you must provide the right voltage. This information should be on the power adapter, though difficult to read.

  • Time Capsule Compatible Hub powered

I have a 6th gen airport Time Capsule and use a WD Passport as my Time Machine backup off-site.  I've been running TM very well with the Passport attached directly to the port USB TC, but I read that might go beyond the limits of the power of usb TC and may cause premature failure then decided to add a powered USB hub.  But the two I tried (because I had spare them), cutting and Satechi not older or newer than 2014, USB 3.0, failure.  The Passport is not recognized when connected to two these self-powered hubs. Yet the two hubs works when connected directly to the iMac.

I know TC have little memory for the support of USB driver and it seems that I found two self-powered hubs TC do not LIKE.  I was wondering if those who know a hub USB powered this 6th generation TCs as will post here so I buy one I know will work.

One of the problems is that USB chips can change without notice on the models at low prices...

I think you will have better luck with the hubs USB 2... because apple used USB 2 port.

You can find these ones on ebay and in stores under many brands.

There is no mark on them... Just says HUB

When I plug it into the Mac, it shows as

    USB 2.0 Hub:

    Product ID: 0 x 0101

Vendor ID: 0x1a40 (TERMINAL TECHNOLOGY INC.)

    Version: 1.11

    Speed: up to 480 Mb/s

    Location ID: 0xfa124000 / 7

    Available current (mA): 500

    Current (mA): 100

As you can see I have a voltage and the ammeter on the USB port... It's called doctor USB charger... great gadget for $2 or less on ebay.

I see the hard drive connected to the TC has no trouble pulling the necessary start running... around 700ma... but drawing on the 320ma during normal use... as long as you do not exceed 500 my normal operation, it will be very well connected live.

The old TC had a diet underestimated... a new 60W power and should not draw more 30W during their use.

  • drive external hard connected via usb hub powered Time Capsule guard fall...

    Hello.

Try using a player external 3.5 "connected via USB hub powered to my Time Capsule to serve as a backup Time Machine secondary.

When I connect the external hard drive, it turns out, and everything seems good (Yes it is correctly formatted). I see the external hard drive in my time machine preferences panel and also the desktop browser window, etc..

After selecting the drive hard as the second backup TM, I start TM. After a few minutes the backup fruitbodies. Audit of airport utility, the drive no longer appears in the profile of Time Capsule. I can't turn back the drive without unplugging / plugging the USB cord. I went to HD (WD green 4to) and HGST 4to - deleted both.

What is the speaker (the box is powered)? Can you have a USB hub between the external hard drive and time capsuls? Something else?

Just seems like something somewhere that expire, causing it to drop the connection...

Thanks for your useful suggestions to fix this!

Is your TC the Gen5, model AC?

I must say that your experience is not uncommon. I tested it myself recently and was disappointed in how the poor reliability has been... Although not as bad as yours... in fact cutting in a few minutes to start a backup is ridiculous.

What is the speaker (the box is powered)?

Quality of the envelope varies a lot... What is it??

If this is the typical brand X... Plug it into your Mac. is it reliable?

Go to your control panel and dig up the actual USB chip used... I don't know if we can help on type a lot. But it helps us determine the fleas are a problem.

I found the hard drive in the finder to mount helped... not the sparsebundle that must be mounted by Time Machine... but the disk must be mounted in the finder so that you can copy files back to him.

I start TM. After a few minutes the backup fruitbodies.

Check in the finder, it has created the sparsebundle and works.

Can you have a USB hub between the external hard drive and time capsuls?

It's our usual recommendation... but he won't always help... especially if the USB hub is another brand X...

Note that all societies are changing USB tokens at the drop of a hat... some seller of a rival company arrives and offers them 1 c off the coast of 1 million chips it is common to spend even in the middle of a race. Even the tenors have no satisfactory fixed hardware...

The computer has loads of memory... and may contain drivers for hundreds of different USB tokens... but the TC is a very limited amount of space and with questions if the driver is not fair.

I started a thread for a database just now... has not progressed much.

  • A key using self-powered USB causes the base station go "off-line".

I found that by using a USB drive self-powered, as the WD My Passport, without a USB powered, hub attached to the base of the station USB port has caused the base station go "off-line". In fact, using a powered hub does not always remedy the situation, but it is more reproducible without one.

This is true for the AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule 802.11ac. The problem does not occur immediately, but it may happen over several days. The symptom is that the player is no longer lies in the Finder, or the base station appears in AirPort Utility.

My question is if others have had the same results? ... and did you find permanent solutions?

USB key "seems" less reliable on the airports of AC model than on previous versions.

I tend to not use USB attached to routers because I think it's convenient mediocre and poor speeds. But I tested with previous models, and it seems ok...

KT those a few posts here a me trial there. These are not self powered readers... who I have long recommended people avoid the use (without a powered hub)...

Re: External backup drive down regularly

In fact, the wire is different from what I remember... Age don't you know.

But I did the test on an AC TC. The result has been very reliable. He did not cause the TC to close... but I lost the connection of the USB almost every day... except for a trial where I kept the USB drive mounted in the Finder... so that the USB drive wouldn't turn it down. He then worked for a few weeks... until what the noise of rotation of disk (sitting next to me) drove me crazy... as soon as he was mounted is more, he would pass the same existence as before.

The previous model TC was barely big enough for the internal use of the power supply units. So powered car running disc was impossible.

Provide EI (GEN 1-5) at 1. 8A and 12v was adequate, but the standard USB port is estimated at 500 my wrong to manage disks free power.

You would certainly think AC 12v 5A power supply models would have a lot of power. Yet, power problems are a major problem still. Supply is extremely sensitive and stop easily for reasons I'm still to understand.

Where the long threads on power issues to the AE.

Now, I'm going to speculate... I think that SOME problems are associated with power.

What is the USB port side in airports of AC? Is it still 500ma? Apple never seem to give easy to find info on these details.

Do you know? I haven't measured it, but I can try timing the time it takes to charge a phone.  Assuming that it will immediately trigger.

Then he will have problems with a self-powered drive. Even if the drive has less energy than quotes, current during starting is much higher. The restriction of the power on the USB port is managed by a self regulator recovery... Once you triggered it, you must stop the power... then reboot the machine to restore power.

Then, I also did the test with hub powered... and like your results... It was better. Longer time between the drive disappears from the network. But it was not enough to stop it.

There is another interesting effect using self-powered hubs... I discovered this on a computer running Mac OS lets say! The computer would not start with a powered hub connected to the front USB. Hubs self-powered cheap, showing a defect in their design. They can refer to the USB port. In this computer, it was enough to stumble on the good power circuit and prevent the supply, commissioning... As long as the computer is running, everything was fine... but if I turned off it would not start. I finally woke up I had to exit the USB every time. At one point, I made a "special" Cup USB cable 5v line so the hub can stay connected. You can probably just to isolate the 5v of contact in the USB. Regardless of the configuration of power USB in the AE or TC is as you can assume she's sensitive enough... and at any time when the 5V on USB hub exceeds the 5V in AE it could trigger.

The symptom is that the player is no longer lies in the Finder, or the base station appears in AirPort Utility.

Endangered of AU base station is not uncommon.

It responds to the pings? I guess he still has lights but is he blocked? You still get internet through it?

Try to open it manually in to THE... use of the file / configure from others and put the IP address of EI.
