  If the key was on the laptop, then it is very likely that the key is for your Windows operating system installed.

  I have not heard a laptop computer with a key of Microsoft Office on this subject, anywhere.

  The product key on the bottom of your laptop isn't for Vista, Office 2007.

  You'd have a trial version of Office 2007 pre-installed on your laptop.

  To continue to use Office, you can buy licensed copy of it.

  Hello RForgiven, normally when HP or any OEM Microsoft Office load on a system, and you want to use this Office Suite, you are required to buy the product key for installation.

  If you have purchased the Microsoft Office Suite when you purchased the system, you would have shipped a product key in the transmission of your new system.

  Usually, manufacturers never put a product key on the system case as they would the product key for the operating system.

  Just some thoughts.

  Virtual PC 2007 is a free application and therefore does not require a product key. Just download it and installed. You will of course, product keys for any operating system that you install as a virtual machine.

  Hello, the product key is normally printed in the retail packaging or is sent in the confirmation email in case you made a digital purchase. However there is a support forum for the mozilla firefox browser. If you continue to have problems to get the desktop software to work, please contact support Microsoft instead since it is their product.

  When you bought your laptop you have been assigned to evaluate office m over 3 months, it was a trial version. Now, it should be bought if you want to use again. You can use Open Office:

  Finally and above all the product key on the lower side of your laptop belongs to the pre-installed Windows version and has nothing to do with Toshiba.

  I think you don't understand something wrong because the product key on the underside of the laptop belongs to your version of Vista and it s not for Microsoft Office.
  Please read what is printed on this product key sticker.

  In addition it s only a trial version pre-installed and if you want the full version you must pay for it.
  Toshiba doesn't provide laptops with a full version of office.

  Most systems come with a trial version of the office - only you can check with the Acer customer service or technical support.

  You can try a manual activation to see if it works any better - but I'm sure it's a trial version and that the key does not work because it has expired.
