  Panel configuration-Device Manager - look at the settings for the network card, WiFi, Modem power management.

  You're supposed to be able to access the Intel Management Engine BIOS by pressing Ctrl-P, when you see the screen that tells you to press Ctrl-P to enter MEBx Setup - but the screen never appears when I reboot everything by attaching masking tape on the F12 key.

  I have reason to believe that DHCP can be sayabled in the BIOS Intel Management Engine & I need to enable because my optical fiber ISP uses dynamic instead of static IP addresses IP addresses.

  MEBx is VPRO no INTEL Management Engine.  If you have an INTEL CTRL P then there will be a white sticker inside the case with a number.

  If it's a 3 MEBx is disabled permanently at the factory.

  My current 2 Apple Airport Extreme Base Stations (the two 5th generation) are implemented as shown in the screenshot below.

  My fiber service (80 MB/s) is hard directly on an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station plugged into my home office (via an Ethernet cable that connects from the box of fiber on the outside wall of my house to this AE).

  While AE is hard wired to a 2nd AE in a separate building in my back yard (via an underground conduit of PVC).

  Wired connection that's not a separate Ethernet cable.

  Instead, my provider of fiber spliced in an existing telephone cable that already existed.

  I am replacing a very old 30 "TV Sony with a 60" LED Smart TV & want to run an Ethernet cable from the AE 1st in my home office to the living room where will be the TV.

  Locate the extreme new... which has a much better arrangement... wireless antenna where it provide the most benefits to nearby wireless devices.

  Otherwise, you might want to consider renaming your airports, because the current device names far exceed the recommended length name a 26 characters max, including spaces. Keep the name short and simple wireless network as well... and to avoid special characters in the name... as an apostrophe, a sign dollar, asterisk, etc..

• Strange crashes: unable to solve

  I had problems with Windows 7 crashing a lot over the past two days. About 6 or so times, my computer froze everything and is completely unresponsive.   This connection cycle, gel and rebooting usually continue for 5 tests or more, and I have nothing seems to fix; It will be not just randomly crash will be identified later. I say randomly because sometimes it gets "fixed" after I restarted in safe mode, or just normally trying to restart and the first time I tried startup repair, I was able to log in again, but after the second time I ran it, I fell again.

  I also tried to boot from the Windows DVD to perform the repair, but there seems to be something wrong with my disc drive, so that option seems to be interrupted.

  I have dual boot with Ubuntu 12.04 and I am able to connect to this fine with no crashes, even after a crash of Windows shutdown. I have tried everything I can think and am out of resources, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

  Thought I will reply with what I discovered.

  I tried methods 1 and 2 has either nothing done or did not help and eventually decided to work on Ubuntu for awhile and it turns out that I started to plant here also. I ran a diagnostic and discovered that there was something wrong with my hard drive and I had to replace it.

  Now with the new hard drive, I won't plant.

It was suggested that the Z840 HP will support Version 2015. It turns out that I have a credit with Dell account so I can order a new machine pronto. However, I use a Dell XP machine now. It worked fine on PP CC 7.0, but it started having problems when I updated to the current version 7.2. That said.

  There is no systemic problem with 10.11.4 gel. Where are you this information? If you get it from forums like this one do not forget that the few people who post here post about issues they know. Their messages do not represent millions of people, not problems.

  Check the sources of the system/preferences/keyboard again.  You have active the British PC keyboard.  Remove it and make sure that you have only on the list.

• VISTA 64-bit Home Premium gel / blocking / Auto Reboot

  Since the first week of September 2010, my computer freezes randomly upward (gel); sometimes itself reboots and goes into a restore / system recovery mode.

  Model HP m8407c Intel 2.4 G processor, 4 GB RAM, 750G HD.

  After about 20 auto-redémarre or lock-up, I stripped most of the stuff, ran every possible internal diagnosis for the OS and the hardware.  No problem found.  Ran diskcheck, no problem; issue continues.  No observable trends - had sometimes a browser to the top, sometimes it locks with no program user started, sometimes on the flavor of the screen (bubbles).  Sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after a day.  I disabled the sidebar, Skype, IPOD window and all the other processes of 'auto'.  No joy.  After 10 days without recovery, restorations, audits of the system (all negative) - I have it smoothed by reloading the factory partitioned D drive (where VISTA operating system is stored); eliminating all programs loaded and the user files.

  It was the day before yesterday; Since then, I loaded all the patches/updates (130 in total), to include SP2 and IE 8.0.  Problem persists.

  I consider myself as above average in computer science, but he lost with this one.  I don't think it's a question of HD (2.5 years old computer); HD has more than half of the car is empty - a lot of swap space. RAM is 4G and I do not run a lot or play games, so not much of a drain in my mind.  Other that a VISTA update routine, nothing has changed the first week of September.  I guess it's a question of BONE or the VIDEO but nothing changed sage program (added or deleted) and after he nuking, it always crashes and goes into the system restore procedure.

  Hello my Precision M6500 has recently begun to behave badly and has following symptoms.

  1 display a white screen on market and a black screen on reboot, the OS boots aand, one that can discern by the jingle of windows at the end of the startup procedure.

  2. the unit turns to the insertion of the battery.

  In order to isolate the root cause of these issues, I tried the following without success.

  1. replacement memory

  2. new display motherboard cable assembly

  3 start with on the SSD on the system, and even at the bios level that the symptoms remain.

  Anyone knows similar symptoms with their unit and if what was then the final fix deployed to solve these problems.

  The system is running an ATI graphics card I read a little about the black screens in booting with Nvidia cards, can anyone confirm if all the info out there has any application for ATI cards.

  Try resetting the CMOS battery.

  Now try to boot in the BIOS. Restart the computer and press F2 on Dell logo. Under the heading "Disks" disable the SAS controller. Now click on 'Apply' and get out.

  If the steps above does not work, move the hard drive to a SATA optical and 1 to SATA2.

  2 download is complete, the Download Manager (default or any plugin) still have this file fixed on 1 second
  3. I can't cancel, press 'x' pause.
  4. when I leave Firefox it asks, "cancel 2 downloads?
  4. after reboot it starts to download this file again. But now I can cancel it.

  Tried in safe mode, same result.
  Downloads are kept in the downloads.json, I can remove them manually to prevent the download again after the reboot.

  What you use for storage in the PWS490? What the rest of the specification of it (processors, amount of RAM, etc.)? Have you tried to install ESXi on a USB key (a device 2 GB +, SanDisk Cruzer work)?
