Pregnant with my Dell laptop inspiron 3537 went silent

I just bought my new laptop a laptop DELL INSPIRON 3537 a month ago and I had no problems before. Hello. When you get audio through the correct helmet but none through speakers, and reinstall the audio driver does not correct (relocation restores the default configuration and resolve any configuration problem), then it is a hardware failure and you need to contact Technical Support.

There are 3 problems that can expose your symptoms - the speakers are disconnect, failure, or impedance detection mechanism in the headphone jack fails. If you are interested in trying to cut down you can run the tests in ePSA.

1. reboot the computer.
2. immediately at the Dell logo screen, start typing the key until the start time menu appears (if the computer starts Windows shut down the computer and try again).
3. in the start time menu, press the arrow of to highlight Diagnostics, PSA + or Enter ePSA, then press to start the PSA.
Look for a "Make Quick Check" Audio button on the lower side right of the screen of the main menu of ePSA. Press the button and check if you can hear sound from the speakers.

If you do not "Perform Quick Check Audio" button then this. Start the PSA tests, and when he runs the test of the colors it will ask you if you see the color bars on the screen. Deliberately fail the test by not answering any (press key "n") instead of Yes. When you do this the PSA test emits a series of beeps. Listen to the beeps.

The only other 'test' for this kind of problem is to restore the laptop to original factory settings using the restore image (Dell Factory Image Restore). Who cannot tell you exactly the problem, but it does not give a positive confirmation of hardware failure.

    Thanks for posting. If you uninstall the Dell printer software then you will very probably be able to install it on the HP mini if you perform the activation of the phone. However, you can not install on two computers at the same time.

This is a hardware problem, not a software problem. I am running the factory Win 7 home x64 and dual booting Ubuntu 12.04 x64, with this exact problem in both OS's.

What I did is I took out the keyboard and the palm rest (there should be a tear down guide put out by Dell) and you should see a coin cell battery. I took it out for about 10 seconds and then put it back in. I also checked all the other connections and removed and reseated the HDD. 

I then went into BIOS and made sure there weren't any funky settings. It now shuts down, suspends, and wakes properly (only tested in Ubuntu 12.04)

I have no clue how or why, but that's what did it.

    Hello. Go to the Inspiron 15 3537 support page. Select your operating system from the drop-down list. Expand the audio category. Download & install a new copy of the Realtek audio driver.

    Who will correct any configuration problem. Test Socket. If no change then switch the native Windows audio driver.

    1. open Device Manager (type devmgmt.msc in the box of Windows search).
    2. develop the 'audio controllers, video & game' and right click on "Realtek High Definition Audio".
    3 Select this option to "Update driver software".
    4. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
    5. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".
    6. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.
    7. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio"(native driver).
    8. click on "next".
    9. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).
    10 restart the portable computer if you are prompted. If not invited, so no need to restart.
