Premiere Pro CC 14 > no smoking or open projects

Hi-

Here's my situation.  My HD crashed into my iMac last week and he was replaced by Apple.  I reinstalled now all my apps.  Well, everything seems to work except the first.  I can open the first, open a project and it loads fine.  If I try to leave or open another project while the first is open, it does nothing.  Literally nothing... He is there as usual.  Even if I can get to the window open a project, I'll select the project to open, and then she returns to the current project... with no options to save, cancel, etc.  I can still work in the project after that... not spinning reel or hang up.

I used a Time Machine backup to retrieve a large number of my files.  I know not if that messed up permissions or what, but I followed the steps listed by Kevin here no. avail first Pro CC, CC 2014 or 20141 freeze at startup or crashing everything working (Mac OS X 10.9 and later) .

One thing that I tried was a new account of a user with administrator privileges and first seemed to work.  The only problem is that a lot of my other programs do not work because the serial number is associated with my main account.

Here are the specs of my machine:

iMac 27 "end-2012

I7 to 3.4 GHZ

32 GB DD3 RAM

OS X 10.9.5

Any help would be appreciated since I'm close to a stand still since I can't move a project.

Thank you

-Mark

Just follow...

I was able to contact Adobe via their online chat. I had a representative make a screen sharing to understand what was going on.  From what I can tell, he went in and fixed the permissions for the folder of my Applications, updated the CUDA driver and deleted all the folders 'Adobe' in the user profile and the profile system.  After that, it reopened its doors first and everything seems to work now.  It must be a file corrupted in one of the Adobe folders OR a bad clearance.  Whatever it is, I thought that I would like to report.

  • Premiere Pro CS4 hungs on importing or opening files

    Hello!

I have a serious problem with Premiere Pro CS4. I have install on Windows 8, everything goes well. I create the first project and import mov files. First time I tried h284 Canon DSLR raw file. He played really bad. Secondly, I try AVID DNxHD mov, plays too slow, but everything is normal. But shortly after the first absolutely freezing. I restart, try to import the file or open the project with imported files (no matter what codec it is), it freezes again as before. And nothing helped. I tried to reinstall it about 5 times, it has no effect. What is c? Please, help me!

P.S. I don't know it worked on Windows 7 with MOV of the Canon camera, but I was working with other codecs.

Update. I found this problem described appears only with files DNxHD. regular H.284 causes different problem - during the first window loses focus (when I go to explorer, for example) first crashes, it's the window disappears and only strange red line stays on the screen. WTF?...

  • Premiere Pro 2.0 - SOUL will not open!

Hello. Trying to export simple small file AVI in Quicktime. Premiere Pro 2.0, Windows XP, etc.

1 two attempts: exporting/Adobe Media Encoder, has chosen the Quicktime format. Met some kind of problem, error: invalid profile file!  I think that it is a problem audio, but not sure yet.

Subsequent attempts: export/SOUL won't open - nothing happens when I use this sequence of menu. Tried out first, again, same result.

    Ideas?

    TIA

    OK, thanks for trying.

There is no update (to my knowledge) to PrPro 2.0, so this isn't a problem.

Then and even a uninstall/reinstall will not address this - trash of your file. Now, the process is distinguished by Adobe products, but I think PrPro resets, if you hold the SHIFT key and continue to hold it down when you launch PrPro. If it isn't, then I will now try the Ctrl key. I wish that Adobe has been common with this, for all products. PS is Shift + Ctrl + Alt, at the launch.

The file is also located in Documents and Settings / [user name] / Application Settings/Adobe/Premiere Pro 2.0/2.0, IIRC (IRA check on my XP machine and report). The file can be renamed to say Adobe first Pro.Prefs_old. PrPro will regenerate this file at startup. You need to go to Edit > Preferences and reset things, because they will be set to the default value.

    In an instant,

    Hunt

[Edit] Here is my path: C:\Documents and Settings\ [User Name] \Application Data\Adobe\Premiere Pro\2.0. The file is: Adobe first Pro prefs change this to Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs_Old, or move somewhere else, for a record of "old Prefs.

  • Premiere Pro does not open

I installed the trial version of Premiere Pro, but when I try to open a project that was sent to me by someone else, I get this error message:

"The program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. »

I tried to reinstall and the same error message again.

I really need to finish this project next week, so any help would be appreciated! Thank you

    Hi Nkphotos19,

As you mentioned that you get the error "the program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"at the launch of Premiere Pro and you have already tried some troubleshooting steps base to solve this problem, I recommend to check out the links below and sharing the results:

  • Opening Premiere Pro CS6.

I have installed Premiere Pro CS6, but I can't open it. It is written 'up-to-date' instead of 'open '. If you use Photoshop and InDesigh (from the same cloud creative), I didn't have a problem. I use Windows 8, and I can't open it from both 'start-up' screen.

Are you using 32-bit computer or a 64-bit computing?

First Pro requires 64-bit to run computer.

  • Can Premiere Pro project be, convert and export to an earlier version - project recorded in the latest Message

I get this message when you try to open my project: "this project has been saved in a newer version of Adobe Premiere Pro and cannot be opened in this version."  I went to film school to my job and need for this project that was done at the College on the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro.  My company purchased Adobe Premiere Pro for my work computer for this project, but they only put 2015.0.5 release 9.0.2 (6) build.  Him will not update because the update has not been fully tested on our network.  Is it possible to open this project in its new version on another computer and save it to the version that I currently use at work?  I don't really want to have to start over.

As far as I know, there is no option "Save as" to save a project in an earlier version

A PARTIAL solution is to save the project as XML and import this XML into the other computer

  • Lack of presets custom Premiere Pro cc 2015

After update first Pro CC 2015 with the last update, my custom export settings I created when exporting from Premiere Pro using the export window that opens are missing. What is a Premiere Pro question or the question of the SOUL. Parameters are created in the export window that opens on the front. I understand there is a window to check what update that allows the selected settings, which I believe is checked by default. Would like an answer for future updates please. This is on a Mac, if that makes a difference.

    Thank you

I found the file with the old presets so I just copied to the new folder and the presets are back.

  • Adobe CS6, Windows 7 64-bit, After Effects and Premiere Pro, new NVIDIA, Adobe approved, K4000 video card won't provide any GPU or CUDA.  My old NVIDIA FX 3800 was working

I got a NVIDIA FX 3800 in my machine and today I installed a new improved NVIDIA K4000 card.  The K4000 is an Adobe approved card.  Affect when I go into Preferences, previews, I get the following: "GPU device driver or view not available-incompatible". In Premiere Pro, I get this message when opening;  "This project last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU (CUDA) which is not available on this system accleceration."  Software playback engine only Mercury will be used. »

I downloaded the latest drivers from NVIDIA and called several times and they have no solution.  I was not able to find a solution on the Adobe Web site.

My next step will be to uninstall the K4000 and substituting my FX3800 old and slow.

Your GPU isn't on the list of those who provide CUDA features for CS6 application versions.

  • No more import swf with Premiere Pro 7.1 CC?

    Hello

After the first Pro CC 7.1 upgrade, I'm not able to import files swf and previous project with swf files consider them as offline. This is just a bug with my installation or this feature has been avoided?

    Thanks for your help,

    Best regards

    Sébastien

After effects always recognize swf files, so these steps might actually be better for you:

    1. Import SWF in After Effects, create a publication
    2. Open Premiere Pro and import timeline .aep (After Effects project file) which contains the .swf
    3. Do what you always used to do

This is an extra step and a boring for sure based on your old workflow, but you should be able to register your second step transcoding, which will save you time and increase the quality of the final result.

  • Premiere Pro and graphics drivers

I started a trial of Premiere Pro, but when I try to open the program, I get an error message stating: "Adobe Premiere Pro has not found all the modules capable of video game. Please update your video display drivers and try again "."

I tried to restore my graphics driver to a previous version and this corrected the problem. However, I can't use this driver because it offers only a very limited screen resolution. When I updated my graphics driver, I got the same error message.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

Vegas has different requirements than the PR, which States the screen resolution 1280 x 900 and your vertical resolution is lower than that. That is why I said, you have to work blind.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 any data 'Date Created'

I studied this background in Adobe and public forums without seeing a similar discussion. I have a folder of .mts clips shot in AVCHD on a Sony HXR-MC2000. I can import or drag-and - drop clips and they come into my seq very well - obviously a recent update, I have installed has tackled the problem of no audio import with the clip, thank you, Adobe!  But for the life of me, I can't have the "Date Created" coming with the clip info. I have this box checked in the Panel PP6, but not these data imports.

Any ideas?  I am running CS6 6.0.1 on an iMac running OS X 10.8.1 Mountain Lion

    Hi Miltko,

Using a Sony SLT A37, can't do PrP to include creation or modification dates in the data of the project file. That is why the yet more general shortcoming. I would like to hear from users of Nikon and Canon.

You can add these metadata in first Pro CC 2014.2 from now thanks to the display of the metadata > base. In the next release of Premiere Pro, metadata will be sortable in the project Panel (it's not currently). I tested it and it works fine.

I also tested Premiere Pro CS6 and "Date Modified" and "création Date" metadata are sortable in this version with some standard .mov files I have in hand right now.

If I understand correctly, all the metadata in the project Panel will be sorted in the next version. This is one of those unsung, updates that those of you on this post, will enjoy.

    Tip:

To ensure that the metadata you need are included in Premiere Pro, please follow the standard advice: copy your SD card set to HD from your computer, and then import the files using the media browser. This way your audio, timecode, dates of creation and modification dates will be imported.

If you have followed the standard procedures and you still do not see the metadata, file a report bug here: http://adobe.ly/ReportBug

Premiere Pro CS6 allows users the Date of creation and update metadata for sorting by date, if your device is supported for use with CS6.

    Thank you
