Premiere Pro CC 2015 crashes when you drag a clip to extend in the timeline

I upgraded to 2015 CC PP and it worked great, with one exception.  I have a project that I've added some isotopic plugins to audio (submix track RX4 noise dialog for interviews and track Captain RX4 Final mix).  After you add the plugins to the timeline, whenever I click on an item to drag to extend the contract or it it, the software crashes and boot me.  I have to connect again and use the project restored file.  The only way I could finish my edit yesterday was cut into two clips instead of clicking and dragging to adjust.

So is there a limitation in the use of plugins or other suggestions on fixing this?

My machine is a 2012 end iMac 27 "with 3.4 GHz Intel Core i processor, 32GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048MB graphics card.  I am running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.3

Thanks for any idea/help.

Randy

Hey credenza - it's no doubt Izotope plugins. My projects crash immediately as soon as I send a clip. The only solution I have at the moment is to mix/master audio via a dynamic link in Adobe Audition... Is not ideal but allows you to use the plugin at least. Frustrating for the submixes or channel master, but I hope that Adobe will update soon. They got sent to suggest that they were working on a fix - the 'revised' whole audio engine is in place the spout in 2015 and they know it.

  • Why Premiere Pro CC 2015 crash when you work with still images?

I am in the phase of learning with first (edited on Sony Vegas for years) and I'm working on a test/learning the project using a mix of videos and photos of my family trips.

Working with the video looks very good (although the thumbnails take forever to load for the still and video images and need to refresh every time that I re - open a bin). When I work with stills (jpgs in this case), PP CC 2015 crashes at various points. He fell down on a double click to add to the drafting of a subitem, when deleting a still in the chronology of the sequence, a trip as always on the scenario, when you open the tab effects, etc.

I haven't done this experiment with video.

Don't laugh, but I was hoping that my laptop Dell XPS (Core i7 4500U, Intel HD Graphics 4400, 8 GB of RAM) would have enough power to use first (a part of why I subscribed). I'm on Windows 10 and keeping the files I work with on my local hard disk solid state. I tried to solve the problem by updating and also reduce the graphics driver, but I'm not as much of a techie like many of you.

Here is the log of the events since the last crash:

    Hi Jeff,

The photos you are editing are really big? How many RAM GPU you have? I assume you are using GPU acceleration (found in the project settings); If you do software only made you still a fall?

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 crashes when I export the complete sequence

Hi, I have installed Premiere Pro 2015/Media Enconder 2015 (by selecting delete do not CC 2014 in advanced options) yesterday. Everything seemed to go smooth import, bringing a project from 2014 CC, editing and ranking. But now that I export the sequence, no matter what it crashes. Always! Unless I export fragments of minutes 10 or less of the sequence. Which is a pain because that its a sequence of 65 minutes, which then I import these parts, synchronization and attempt to re-export to see if it works. It takes a good 1-2 hours for each fragment.

CC 2014 ran smooth, and I waited all this time to update to the CC 2015 to avoid the bugs and problems!

IM OSX 10.9.6 latest first Pro CC 2015 (updated October 2, 2015). 32 GB of RAM and a RACK of 12 HD mini SAS to.

Yet once, everything worked smoothly in CC2014.

I would greatly appreciate any information, solution, entry on that.

    Thank you very much!

Problem solved! I copied the complete timeline on a new sequence. I also did the digital rebellion of troubleshooting household help and quick fix. Rebooted the system and before, first just crashed and disappeared. Now, he has stopped exporting without crashing and an error message appeared this time highlight the reason: a red giant plugin I was using several plug-ins. I removed the plug-in and everything is fine, in addition to taking 1/4 of the exporting time. The plug ins that I used were the CC version 2015, so there must be a bug. I have this post in case anyone else runs into a problem or similar.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 crashes when expansion or shorten a clip

This used to happen from time to time, but now it makes me crazy, what happens almost everytime I try to develop a clip or shorten.

I usually use the Red calipers with an arrow to expand, to shorten a clip, and when I start to slip, the application crashes. It doesn't matter if it's an audio or video clip. I noticed that this happens when the snap is enabled. So I try to keep away, but sometimes I forget, and as soon as I start by dragging the PP crashes.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 crashes whenever by dragging media

The app works very well except when I have to drag the media.  The moment I start dragging anything, it freezes and then I see that it does not on the top of the page, then I go to Task Manager and leave.  Any ideas? I have a MSI GS60 Ghost Pro so I know that's not a problem with my hardware.  I've heard the question of pushbullet, but I'm not using Chrome I have Firefox and I checked and it is not the plug-ins Pushbullet.  Yet once, it only crashes whenever I do drag media either from the source to the sequence Panel, or in the sequence itself even after I have inserted the media via a right click on it in the source Panel.

    EDIT

-J' already uninstalled and reinstalled.  Windows 10 would be the issue? My other Adobe apps work fine.

I came across the same issue this evening. It will be her crazy, but fixed it. I had put an in and out point in my sequence. When I clicked on the playhead in the sequence window and choose "clear in and out", he began to work again. It's the last CC15 on Windows 10.

This happens everytime I try to drag images. Apart from files or sites.

No luck with anything.  Any help is greatly appreciated! I have deadlines to meet and no backup computer!

    UPDATE!

I also lived down in Illustrator. I found my way to this subject and discovered that my problem is a Chrome extension called Pushbullet. After the suppression of Pushbullet of Chrome and restarted my computer, I was able to drag clips into my script again. If you use Pushbullet or perhaps another ill run Chrome extension, chances are, that could very well be the source of your problem!

  • First Pro CC 2014.2 - Crash when you drag videofile in timeline

    Hey guys,.

When I try to drag an image or videofile (doesn't really matter what file format, codec or length) in a sequence first Pro CC 2014.2 will crash immediately, without warning. Just the usual "Adobe Premiere has stopped working" in Windows 7.

I use Windows 7 64-bit with 4 GB of RAM, Intel Core i3-4130 NECK @ 3.40 GHz and an Intel HD Graphics 4400. Premiere Pro worked no problem a few days before, with no changes to the system. The error occurred in first Pro CC 20141 too. Maybe that's a problem with the preview of the video? Music files are no problem.

Thanks in advance! Need help as soon as possible. Visitors are waiting

    Solution:
My graphics not supported the "Mercury Playback Engine (Open CL) GPU acceleration. You can replace "Mercury Playback Engine software only" in your project settings.
But it's in the wrong place in my opinion. Why not in "Edit/Preferences"? I could have changed by myself, but I have not found the menu.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2014 crash when I click on and drag

Hi all, I have a problem with the first CC 2014 that drives me crazy!

    The question is this:

If I try to drag a clip, sequence, effect, or anywhere in the first transition, it is crash - with the message "sorry, a serious error has occurred." The program will crash, quit smoking and saved recovery project is generally in good health (thankfully!). BUT as soon as I restarted the program and reloaded the project - or project-the problem persists. As soon as I click and drag, first crashes!

To "reset" it, I have to restart my machine. Once I did, I can continue for some time to editing as usual (not long, perhaps up to one hour, or more), but ultimately it WILL crash again. I was not able to work on what I have to do to trigger this - it seems random. But once it happened, only by restarting my computer will solve - and then only temporarily.

    Here are the facts:

    • The accident only happens when I drag something... This may include moving a clip on the timeline by dragging a clip form the source viewer or project window, by dragging an effect or transition.
    • The accident occurred after that I clicked, as soon as I start to move my mouse.
    • I CAN click and drag to extend on the timeline and exit points, and I can do 'insert' edit using the button on the source monitor Panel. Not down here.
    • The film plays very well.
    • I try this on a CLEAN OS X installation, with only the packages of Adobe installed, to eliminate any risk of interference from other programs. There are no third-party plugins or drivers installed. No user data installed either (preferences, photos, documents, etc.)-fresh as it comes!
    • I'm not under Time Machine in the BG
    • My system is: Macbook Pro 2011, 16 GB of Ram, 1 TB SSD, OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. Intel graphics card, so no option to enable or disable hardware acceleration. It is located to only the software.
    • I tested with projects and images on an external drive, but also an internal matter, even.
    • I noticed that the question had begun on or around November 25-27, 2014.

Interestingly, I noticed that once the accident occurred in the first, a similar problem will take place in after effects as soon as I drag a file or layer... anything of the layer. The accident seems less elegant here, I don't get an error message, it just freezes and I have to "force quit". Still, the problem persists until the computer is restarted.

I have been using my macbook and first pro cc 2014 on Mavericks for a long time and had no problem - so I know it should work fine! The only things that have changed are updated in Yosemite, I started using Time Machine to do regular backups, I installed some new fonts and updates CC happened in the background... I can exclude most of them because of my new installation without user data, from plugins of fonts or machine time of confuse the issues... It must be a bug to Adobe with Yosemite!

    Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance!

  • Adobe first Pro CC 2015 crashes when importing

    Background and problem:

I have Adobe Premier, a week or two there, and after it opens and 'sneaking around to' less than five minutes, I not did something with it. (especially to me being sick or out of town). But now today I tried to use it, and it crashes before I can get anything done. I should also mention that a month or two before I was upgraded to Windows 10 8... Against my will.

In any case, here is what happens in Adobe PPCC, step by step:

    1. I opened the program, and it starts in 30 seconds at 01:30.

    2. I go to the window at the bottom left. Right-click. Select Import. Then choose the folder of videos that I need for my first project.

    3. the PRO 'importer status window' for 2-3 seconds (empty bar). This message "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.2 has stopped working".

    4. the strength of the application closes.

(I have nothing else on except Skype, a tab in chrome which is idling to Facebook in case I get a message and my files).

    What I've tried so far:

    1. download version 10 of Windows of my NVIDIA drivers.

-Do not be a tech guy, I don't know exactly what pilots do. But I'm sure they have something to do with GPU and these three letters of its important.

    2. go in the "Project settings" settings and change "Renderer" to "Mercury Playback Engine acceleration (CUDA) GPU' on"Mercury Playback Engine software only"."

-Even once, do not know what all of that means... But an online guide says what to do... I tried.

    3 restart my computer.

    4 pray.

So far, no luck on anything whatsoever.

Comp Specs: (I apologize in advance for what either unserviceable or missing)

    Edition: Windows 10 home

    Processor: Intel Core i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.60 GHz

RAM: 8.00 GB (7.88 GB usable)

    Operating system Type 64-bit, x 64 processor

GPU: NVIDIA Windows 10 (I think...)

Memory: 779 GB free of Go 910

(No matter what else you need to know, just ask.)

    Try this:

-Disable your NVIDIA card in Device Manager. (Right click on the map to disable)

    -Restart your computer

    -Check if the problem persists

  • First Pro CC crash when you drag the project window media

I had so many problems with the CC (2014) since the 8.1 update. The last problem is interacting with the media in the project window. In any version of PP (7, 8.0.1, 8.1), when I try to drag the media from the project to the timeline window, I get the crash 'first Pro CC met a serious error... ". ». I use a Macbook Pro i7, 16 GB of ram, Nvidia GT graphic map of 750 m, on OSX Yosemite. I tried to clear the cache of media and the parameters of compensation at the start with alt + shift. I've been using 8.0.1 due to previous problems with ui serious lag on 8.1. I had more problems with the PP in the last 3 months than in the previous 7 years, I have used.

  • First CC 2015 freezes when you drag media

    Hi guys

I'm on Windows 7 on a computer with i7 [email protected], 24 GB of Ram. I'm in first Pro CC 2015.2 9.2.0 (41)

I have a 1080 p with a bunch of files chronology, mainly of sequences (4K) in H264. When you try to drag media (sometimes with maybe other files as well, AVI, MOV, WAV) tab in the timeline, the first project freezes. I am able to record with the controls in the main panel, but the symbol of the mouse remains as it was and I can't do anything with the mouse. Only way to solve it, must leave the first with the Task Manager.

Restart the computer or to import the project into a new project does not help.

    Any ideas?

    T.

You have located in the sequence I/O points?  If so, remove them.
