Prerecorded wav files for greeting call handlers

How to set up the unity server to use prerecorded wav (or some other format) file for managers to call greeting? Unfortunately, we only have these options - vacuum and recording system.

Thank you

    HI -.

    I have included the link Cisco that deals with the requirements on CallManager for complete access to the Cisco Unity administrator (CUGA) greeting. I suspect that the reason why you get fast busy, it's that you do not call coverage on your PBX getting the call to unity in the first place - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a00801543ef.shtml#topic1

    Each of your call handlers must also be assigned to a single extension that can be used by admins to access each call handler to make changes. One last thing, if you are an administrator of the unit that has access to the complete system to call managers, interview managers etc, you can modify records of calls Manager using the SAWeb. From there, you can copy directly to drop or paste files wav files into the call handler. ACJS is mainly used by people who do not have full access to the application of the unit, but only have access to managers of appeal that was specifically.

  • Prerecorded Wav files

    Hi all

    I'm trying to find a Wav file to use at the end of a LabVIEW program that prompts the user that the test is over.

    I use the LabVIEW VI but I'm looking for a pre recorded the wav file that reads "Test is now completed.

    I have had a look on Goolge, but I am unable to find a suitable file.

    Can someone provide my with such a wav file or point me in the direction I could find one?

    Thanks again

    There are a few other online as well.  You will need to look at the problems of license, if you have a commercial application.

    As food for thought, I built once small tester of vision where the customer wanted to audio signals for past and has no parts.  I tried a few different voices.  But in the end, everyone hated the voice.  So, we went to standard Windows sounds.

  • Cannot change properties or labels for newly created. WAV files

    I used Audacity to scan a bunch of old videotapes (MS not taking care of the more manageable! tool with Vista, I used to use with XP...) -j' exported all albums/songs in WAV Format. I have them organized in folders in the Windows Explorer by artist, Album (subfolder) and the song, but does not know how to upgrade the album/artist/etc. info correctly in the properties so that WMP will recognize it. In Windows Explorer, if I click on properties none of the relevant artist/Album/etc. properties appear (and none of them - for example the attributes - are editable in any case), and in WMP11, if I click on Advanced Tag Editor none of the track news, artist Info, fields etc. can be changed (I can see them, they are just grayed out/unclickable). I checked the properties in Explorer to see if the files have been set to read-only, but they are not.

    This is normal - Explorer and WMP can edit WAV tags. This is because a very poor mark supported WAV format, see http://thewelltemperedcomputer.com/SW/WMP/WAV.htm for more information.

    If you want support for tagging, you will need to switch to another format, such as MP3 or WMA (possibly without loss).

  • UCCX only play one quick step for several wav files

    Hello!

    Is possible to use the only stage play ' invite' to play a series of on UCCX .wav files?

    For example, have variable chain_audio which may contain different content length

    ex:

    chain_audio = 'P [1.wav] P [2.wav] P [3.wav] '.

    chain_audio = 'P [1.wav] P [2.wav] P [3.wav] P [4.wav] P [5.wav]"etc.

    Play Promtp (- trigger Contact-, chain_audio)

    Is it supported?

    Thank you

    Hi Valery-

    If you do your variable "chain_audio" a "Prompt" type you can chain several guests using a more between them:

    chain_audio = P [1.wav] + P [2.wav] + P [3.wav]

  • Audition for Protools export of WAV files

    I use Adobe Audition CS 6 to record music. The engineer I want to mix and master use Protools. I'm naïve about how to follow on the wavs to export to the Pro Tools Platform.   I am desperate for help. Please notify. Thank you

    There are a few things you can do.  First of all, you can choose file > export > OMF and send him a complete session with your original layout of the timeline.  Pro Tools supports the sessions OMF importers.

    If you just want to send the songs as individual WAV files, use file > export > multitrack mixing.  You can select the file next to 'Parameters of Format' format and be sure to choose 24-bit for maximum compatibility with Pro Tools.  You can also click on Edit next to "Mixer Options" and choose to export each track and bus in the form of individual files:

  • Why MATLAB cannot read wav files OR? Mind wav compression errors.

    I write, 1-n-channel, 24-bit wav files using the standard vi OR its file Open/Close/Write (DBL) found in LabVIEW 8.6\vi.lib\sound2\lvsound2.llb. This application data are acquired from a NOR-9234 via USB-9162 or NOR-cDAQ-9172. My wav files are readable by many readers of wav, including media player file (channels 1-2), SoundForge, and my own readers of LabVIEW wav file. However, MathLab is unable to read these files, saying they cannot deal with compressed wav format. As we read in the documentation of NOR, these files are decompressed. I found a player wav to header via the discussion forums and read my wav file. The compression code that was printed was-2 instead of 1 for uncompressed. Anyone had similar problems reading in MATLAB? Someone knows something about the importance of a - 2 for compression? My guess is that there is a word size problem here that MATLAB cannot process or NOR is not properly function.

    Well, I learned a little more since last we spoke. The standard MatLab wav player is wavread.m. This script must be able to read multi channels 24 bit files; but he does not read files from LabVIEW. We find a change to this script, called wavexread.m, which was developed to read wav files that use WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE. This format was developed by MS as an extended format to write multi channel + 24 bit files with more information included. LabVIEW wav files are readable by MatLab via the use of this script. Basically the script ignores formatting as if the compression for the PCM format setting was set to 1 (instead of-2 or, as we know it, "FEFF"). I tried rewriting the file binary wav and replaced the "FEFF" with "0100". This file is readable by the wavread.m of stock but not the wavexread.m extended; hiliting besides the fact that MatLab do not really care.

    However, I'll throw this back order to ask whether it is really necessary to use the extended format to write these files when the standard format would be sufficient. It sure would have made life much easier if my client did not need to worry about this.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Combination 2 + WAV files into one WAV file

    Hello

    I try to combine at least 2 WAV files (my example uses 3) in a single file. I've tried several examples (http://www.jsresources.org/examples/AudioConcat.html and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/653861/join-two-wav-files-from-java), but both have the same problem: the output file is an exact copy of the last file that has been joined.

    Here is the code for the simplest of 2 examples that I modified to suit my needs.
            File outputFile = new File("concat.wav");
            for (int i = 0; i < files.length - 1; i++) {
                try {
                    AudioInputStream clip1 = AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(files);
    AudioInputStream clip2 = AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(files[i + 1]);

    AudioInputStream appendedFiles =
    new AudioInputStream(
    new SequenceInputStream(clip1, clip2),
    clip1.getFormat(),
    clip1.getFrameLength() + clip2.getFrameLength());

    AudioSystem.write(appendedFiles,
    AudioFileFormat.Type.WAVE,
    outputFile);

    files[i + 1] = outputFile;//first file read in next loop, will contain joined file so far

    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    }
    }
    return outputFile;

    I am unsure as where the problem lies, so would be grateful for anyone to point out the (no doubt obvious) mistake i've made :p

    I see no problem with your actual code in terms of JavaSound, but...

    The first run through, you'd be concating 'file1.wav' and 'file2.wav' in a file called "concat.wav". The second time, you'd be concating 'concat.wav' and 'file3.wav' in a file called "concat.wav"...

    On the second iteration, "concat.wav" will be put on it until the sequence input stream releases it... What happens as soon as he did read-lock read. At this time, the read lock is released and you can get a lock in writing on this subject, but you have already spilled all concat.wav data in the compartment bits... so the only thing that happens to go there now is "file3.wav".

    So, don't try to read and write to the same file at the same time...

  • In a sequence of CTF, is it possible to obtain a text file of sequence clips display? There is a display of text file for clips (cmd-9). Zoom the timeline cancels the ability to see the whole sequence of the time line.

    In a sequence of CTF, is it possible to obtain a text file of clips in sequences display (name and duration)? There is a display of text file for clips (cmd-9). Zoom the timeline makes this visible annotation for shorts, cancels but the ability to see the whole sequence of the time line. Of course, it would help my editing.

    TIA

    In Final Cut Pro 7, you can use editing > find command to search on used clips in the sequence. See if there is an equivalent command in FCE. Unfortunately, I can't determine that at first hand on my system. (In addition, if you are still interested whereas FCP X, there the so-called Timeline index which provides quick access to a list of markers, clips, effects, etc..)

  • WAV files will not play in Firefox 22

    WAV files will not play in Firefox 22. Previous versions of Firefox are very good. Another sound is fine. I have the latest mac OS X. QuickTime is required to play wav files. I have the latest version of it.

    Is there any solution for this?

  • Removal of WAV files after you create AAC version in iTunes

    I recently deleted about 5 GB of iTunes WAV files after their conversion to AAC files. I chose to "move to trash" and then empty the trash. When I rebooted my computer, there is about 5 GB of free storage added to my HD but not the Audio storage, which has not changed. I forgot to check the free space came as I thought it would be audio.

    I tried manually deleted WAV files and they do not appear on my HD, only new AAC versions I created. I'm curious to know why the Audio storage did not change at all, even if the files are audio files and seem to have been properly removed from my HD. I wonder if they were not stored somewhere else and if so I want to make sure that they have been deleted. What worries me is that my iTunes library is 94 Go yet my Audio storage is 126 GB. I understand Garageband, etc. takes place, but the gap seems to be excessive. Please help/explain whether you have any ideas!

    Much appreciated!

    You'd better ask about the way in which the information system is referred to in the forum system for your computer. If it were me, I'd be just glad if you removed 5 GB of files 5 GB have been released.  If you want more details, try a specific tool like OmniDiskSweeper: https://www.omnigroup.com/more/
