• OCR @ background for several PDF files

  Dear friends,

  I have several PDF files image / tiff files. a PDF file can have multiple pages. I wanted to do OCR of each PDF file. Manually, I need to do it one by one.

  I wanted to perform this task in the background might be a tool that can be run to do OCR for all files and save result files in the specific folder. This groundwork will be executed on a daily basis.

  Can this be possible with Adobe OCR tool? OR offer another solution using Adobe OCR.

  Have we not all libraries that can be integrated with .net application? so that we can build the tool that can be run in the background.

  Yes, you can run OCR on a set of files and save them in the folder with the specified names. To do this, follow these steps:

  If no file is opened in Acrobat:

  1. start Acrobat and go to tools > improve the Scans

  2. There is a link «or recognize text in multiple files»

  3. on the "recognize text" dialog box, click Add files option and select all the files, you want to perform OCR.

  4. click on Ok. Now a dialog box will come where you can specify the output settings (folder path and file name prefix/suffix)

  5. the "Recognize text - settings' window specify the language and style of OCR output. (Default value is searchable exact Image).

  If a file is opened in Acrobat, step 2 will change: toolbar in Acrobat select text recognition > in multiple files

  I'm developing a video "cube" four videos to spin slowly from left to right, allowing each video to show. As I have been able to address, why the videos were playing so slow, that I started playing at 100% which now gives me normal reading or speed for each video. The downside is videos sometimes narrowed down to a simple 20 seconds (approx.) length of game for each four sides of the cube.

  The cube was set to run for about 5 minutes.

  So my goal with your help if you can help me please with a solution.

  According to the video you could send just to loop. Do in the interpretation of the images.

• I'm just starting with LR from iPhoto.  I shoot football and generally shoot 1000 + photos a game, save maybe 20 or more. The process of weeding through these is relatively easy on iPhoto but with LR it seems to require at least one additional step for d

  In iphoto, I use two fingers on the next arrow and remove.  Each image that is a keeper, I jump and all the others I have delete.  I still go through them until I've winnowed down from those I want to change.  In LR, the thumbnails don't actually give me enough ability to see small things I want without importing completely so I have to import all and remove a ton.  all advice appreciated.

  Most of us import everything and then pass in review in the Loupe (press E) and use the keys P and X to mark samples and distortions. If you turn on Auto Advance under Photo menu automatically by moving quickly to the next picture as soon as you press P or X. In the end, you can filter all scrap and press Ctrl +, select them all and then delete as a batch.

  2. Have these hyperlink worksheet titles to the sheets themselves?

  I build what will eventually be a fairly large file (read: 75 + leaves). Rather than scrolling all the leaves one by one by one manually to locate the correct table, it would be useful to have a table of contents or an Index that lists the in order... Ideally, allowing the connection of hypertext link to the leaves they reference. (I swear that this was part of a way-back-when number...)

  Instead, is it possible to auto-trier worksheets in alphabetical order? He would not give me the project view as a table of contents or an Index of 35,000 feet, but at least it would be a little easier to find what it takes.

  The numbers 2 (' 09) and 3 support not the hyperlinks to locations within the current document. Both take in charge of hyperlinks that open a Web page in your default browser or which will open and send a new e-mail message.

  Command-F can be your friend here.

  Place an array of single cell on each sheet (or use a cell on the existing table). Enter a short text string that identifies the table or sheet. Each string must be unique in the document.

  To access the card containing one of the following strings:

  Press Control + F to open the Find dialog.

  Enough chain to identify the worksheet type.

  Number will draw this roadmap forward as soon as it can determine which table contains the cell containing this string.

  Tested with four sheets containing:

  able, baker, charlie and delta

  With this limit together (and any other tables in the document - quite an artificial situation!), type c or d was enough to bring me to sheet 3 or 4, sheets 1 and 2 required two letters (ab or ba) to identify the good sheet and bring it forward.

  

  

  With a document containing several tables (and more leaves), create (and remembering) a separate channel for each becomes more complicated.

  You can place a second copy of each in a table of Index or table of contents on a separate sheet. From the index table,

  Copy the entry for the table/worksheet you want to go.

  Open the dialog to find (command-V)

  Paste the entry in the search box. (What it will find and highlight the entry that you have copied to the index table)

  Click on the > button on the dialog to find the occurrence FOLLOWING this string (on your target table.

• Combining several WAVs

  I'm pretty new to hearing. recently I captured audio from old audio books on CD. Hearing brings them as individual tracks, so that I can have up to 20 tracks on a single cd. I'd like an easy way to combine them into a single WAV.

  I tried to make a CD presentation, making them in the right order, but then I can only burn a CD, not save a WAV file.

  What I do is create a multitrack session and drag on all of the individual tracks by placing them in order, then create a new mix of that.

  There is no easy way to select all the tracks on the CD, and lay them end to end in a single track to the multitrack session?

  Is another easier way, that I don't know?

  In waveform display, use Open > append. This will place each fresh at the end of the previous track, and you'll end up with a single long containing the batch, you can save.

  • + Diskgroup Redo1 have 2 50 GB disks (fact these 2 discs are the same physical disk partitions OR these should be separate disk as recommended approach)?
  • + Diskgroup Redo1 have 2 drives of capacity 50 GB (for RAID 1 + 0)
  • + Diskgroup Redo2 have 2 50 GB disks

  Partitioning your disks for ASM configuration as 'A' might make sense. If you lose one disk, you have the discs to another.

  'B' totally make sense if you have lost the disc that you have lost all group ASM and you need to change this with something like 'C '.

  But obviously you need redundancy ASM configured appropriately.

  A single License can only be installed on uptill 2 computers only and yes you can use one at a time . This part of EULA (end user license agreement ) is only applicable for prepetual licenses .

  I assume that you use the application overview.

  I can't find an answer to back up everything, but a workaround could be while the file menu options are visible, press the option key

  and the point of the window will become close, if you click on that dialogue will ask you if you want to restore the changes or save

  pressing Save will close the image with the changes and then move to the next image and so on.

  It is found on all projects, I'm still under snow leopard, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics card, and yes the playhead stops after a second reading of a video in the source and program window.

  After hours of research and troubleshooting, I managed to solve the problem by signing on the standard user and account logging in as an administrator. Somewhere in the standard user account prevents play video.

  I'll recreate a different standard user account and see if that fixes the problem.
