    Hello

I try to replace a clip mp4 with RAW DNG. The clip mp4 has been conducted for RAW DNG, but when I try to replace it, the length of the element is forever.

    Details:

1 RAW DNG recorded with 30 frames per second

2 RAW DNG with Media Encoder at 30 fps mp4 rendered

    3 mp4 AE import

    4. replace the mp4 with RAW DNG

    Result:

    duration of the clip MP4 = 08:19:12

    DNG RAW length = 06:39:04

The information window shows bith clips with 30 frames per second.

Both clips shows: 0000000-0011973 (number of dng raw images)

All the settings on 30 frames per second:

Media Encoder: "Media / Indeterminate Media time base: 30 frames per second.

After effects: "import / sequence images 30 images/s.

First. "" Media / Media indeterminate Timebase: 30 frames per second "(just in case where - perhaps encoder reference pp..)" I don't think so.. but..)

What can I do? Im doing something wrong, or is it a software error?

Even if I replace it, simply import the DNG raw on EI, it shows the shorter length, but also 30 images/s, in the information window.

Sorry guys, I found it in an old Media Encoder Thread cs5:

After import of SOUL, I do a right click on the name of the file, 'interpretate footge' and here I can put it at 30 frames per second.

  • How to stop Lightroom (1.4.1 - I know it's old!) to automatically adjust my raw DNG file?

How to stop Lightroom to automatically adjust raw DNG files?

    I use Lightroom 1.4.1 from a CS4 installation.

I know it's old, but it works for my case, so no need to pay for an upgrade so far.

I'm shooting with a Nikon Df RAW images.  And no matter if I shoot just RAW or RAW + JPEG.

My camera creates a NEF file.

I then use Adobe DNG Converter to convert the file to DNG.

I then import the DNG in Lightroom.

My Lightroom preferences include 'none' to develop the parameters when importing.

When I view the imported file in the Panel to the POINT, there are some basic settings that have been applied.

    Temp, tinted, blacks, brightness, contrast.

Certainly, the image is "prettier" with these adjustments, and surely I can come back to '0' settings if I want to see the image of 'RAW', but that the of is happening here and how can I have the image start with no adjustment?

If he hit the "RESET" button, it returns it to these adjustments.  Confusing.

    Any suggestions?

    See you soon!

Once back to zero in the development module access to the develop menu item and search for "set default settings." A click on it. That puts the default settings for this camera images to all zeros for all newly imported images. In regards to the already imported image, you could try to synchronize and or copy it to all others.

  • Will Adobe Camera Raw DNG Converter 7.4 or the work version 8.7.1 on premium design CS5.5 Adobe on a MAC OSX Version 10.7.5 Lion, I recently acquired a new X100S of Fuji camera that is listed on 7.4 Mac download, I can't open the Raw of RAF FRO files

Will be Adobe Camera Raw DNG Converter 7.4 or the work version 8.7.1 on premium design CS5.5 Adobe on a MAC OSX Version 10.7.5 Lion, I recently acquired a new X100S of Fuji camera that is listed on 7.4 Mac download, I can't open the files Raw of RAF of the camera in photoshop CS 5.5 or will I have to spend to CS6 and it will work then?  Thank you very much, Paul

I'm afraid that the answer is the same as your other request. It is not a question of the difference between Photoshop CS 5.5 and the Design Premium version. This is the version number. And Photoshop CS Design Premium 5.5 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to 6.7. The DNG Converter is always your best choice if you're not ready to upgrade your Photoshop.

But then I realize I have not read your question closely. The DNG Converter does not work with any program. It is a separate stand-alone program which is used only to create copies of your DNG (digital negative) raw images. You can use the DNG Converter as your software download, conversion of images as they are transferred to your computer. Then, you will be able to open them with older versions of Camera Raw that are compatible with your version of Photoshop. Some people fear that the DNG Converter means a step further. But if you use it in your download software, I think you will find that it can streamline things considerably.

When you configure the DNG Converter, make sure that a compatibility option that is compatible with your version of Camera Raw. Also, take note that the DNG Converter will prompt you for a FILE containing raw images. Choose the folder, but do not open it.

  • Would I be able to edit RAW (DNG) iPhone in CS6?

    Hello

I had a fast delivery and the results are very disappointing. Very grainy in bright outdoor photos. Somehow a universal thing, I would have thought the DNG would work fine, but I saw that the last camera raw update lists support for iPhones. I need to this update and upgrade to CC? Would I be able to use the DNG Converter to convert the output files to the iPhone in a format that CS6 can understand?

    Thank you!

    Phil

DNG Converter should work fine.  I suggest to watch these two videos to get the idea:

First, you will need to download and install the DNG Converter from this link:

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows >

Then you must watch this video if you are not familiar with DNG formats:

Camera Raw: how to use Adobe DNG Converter - YouTube >

The latest version of the DNG Converter is 9.7, and that's what you need.

It is another official video from Adobe:

The benefits of the DNG - YouTube File Format >

    I hope this helps.

  • Open the file Raw (dng) in fast mode (items 14 Mac)

Probably I'm missing something really Basic.  I have 14 elements on the Mac. I can open dng perfectly in raw files, but I can't understand how to change it in the store (for example, the quick mode) Photo Editor. I'm sure it's something simple, but it drives me crazy! (I want to use the tool of healing etc.).

    Thank you!

    Jim

After having opened the dng in Camera Raw (raw mode) dialog box press the Open button to open the dng format in 14 of PES Editor.

It may also be that the dialog box camera raw should be set to 8 bits/channel in order to use tools like the concealer onto the image.

  • Raw DNG Adobe 8.8 converter

Has received excellent advice earlier Akash respondent concerning the non compatibility of files GROSS generated by my Canon d 760 and 12 items on an iMAC on OSX10.11.

Advised to upgrade to Elements14 or 'using the DNG Converter '.

So I downloaded the converter_8_8.dmg DNG from Adobe, which is the version given by Adobe for this device, but impossible to download. CR2/Raw images from the selected source (computer desktop in this case) on the entry form all files are grayed out. Same thing with any other source folder/USB etc.

To do this, indicate no compatibility between my camera and the DNG Converter, despite recommendations from Adobe? Can someone advise please?

First of all, converter DNG 8.8 was the first version that has taken care of your camera. Which does not mean that you are limited to this version. You can use any later version of the DNG Converter.

The DNG Converter does not work on individual files. You will notice in the interface converter it will prompt you for the FOLDER that contains your raw images. You should select the FOLDER in the DNG Converter, but don't open the folder and try to choose individual DNG files because it won't work. Because of this nature, it would probably be best to move these images from the desktop in a folder, and then select the folder for the converter DNG work with.

  • Files Nikon D810 and LR CC raw / DNG Converter

I just got a Nikon D810. I upgraded to Lightroom CC as the Adobe person assured me that she would recognize my D810 raw files. This isn't. Neither the 9.3 DNG Converter. I already have successfully copied the files to a folder on my hard drive. What's wrong? Help, please!

I know, I thought it would be too much work. It says "Preview not available for this file" - Although it shows the boxes (with no images) and file names. Is it possible to only put in place something wrong on the device itself?

You connect the camera directly to the computer, or you use a card reader?

Have you used the Nikon software to get the images of your device and on your hard drive? As I read the Nikon software can corrupt, change, images as well as the Nikon software can read them.

  • Download not found when you try to download the Raw DNG Converter

When I try to download the Raw format to DNG Converter 8.3 format, it tells me that the details for download not found is that the DNS is not pointing to the correct area. I have tried other versions of the converter and it gives the same error. Any ideas?

Jeff, it may have been your midas touch or my computer plays the old stuff on me again, but I tried it again and it currently downloads the type converter I.

Thanks for your time on this point and looking forward to using the converter.

  • Belongs to Adobe Camera Raw, DNG Converter version 7.1? Or is it a separate download? I have LR5

Sorry, I think I put too much info in the bar of the Question. Thanks, Mike

The description indicates that Camera Raw is part of the download, but in reality is only the DNG Converter. Later versions of Camera Raw are obtained via the menu help/updates in Photoshop. And I'm sure that you realize that Lightroom does not use plug in Camera Raw.

  • Importation of raw DNG back in first Pro CC files

Any suggestions on how to do it?

    Hi Mark,

This seems to be a sequence of images cinema DNG. Extension of ARRI raw is .ari. Cinema DNG will be supported in the next release of Premiere Pro, which will be available very soon.

  • Replacement of the masters raw/dng?

I was importing images using the option "Copy as DNG", and I have it configured to use Camera Raw 4.6 and later (because I have Photoshop CS3, which I very occasionally want to use on the results).

I was surprised to discover today that my Lumix. RW2 files become huge when I do that - they range from about 19 MB about 60 MB. And I am running quickly more disk space when traveling.  I don't have the option "integrate the original image" set, so I think it's just a defect of the first formats to DNG.  If I use a newer version, I don't understand the problem of expansion of size, but then I can't open it in my Photoshop, or preview, or, well, anything good is not new and expensive Adobe :-(

So I would probably go back just using my raw files, which rather several things can read, ironically, than the open DNG format!  Otherwise, I'll have to use a newer DNG format and forget just be able to open elsewhere for now.

But for my existing images, is there a way I can replace my big DNG files with small RW2 files, or with the newer versions of DNG files and preserve metadata, cropping, etc.?

But for my existing images, is there a way I can replace my big DNG files with small RW2 files, or with the newer versions of DNG files and preserve metadata, cropping, etc.?

For that matter, I guess you can use the DNG Converter to convert with a higher ACR version compatibility mode. You can also import your files RW2 along the big DNG and metadata synchronization between pairs of DNG - RW2 using the plugin Syncomatic of John Beardswroth.  John?

  • CS5 - where is 'Open Raw' (not Camera Raw/DNG) gone?

I used to use Photoshop 7 and CS, where there was the command 'Open Raw' - which opened arbitrary binary files in the form of images (to not be confused with Camera Raw or DNG - files I'm talking about the binary images exported from Matlab and Mathematica, without any header information.)

In CS5 the 'Raw' option went in the menu open and open under points and I cannot otherwise mean how to open them.

How can I open them, or Adobe sector this useful feature?

It should always be there under gross Photoshop.

  • Differences of native raw DNG

I found slight differences in colour between native raw and DNG files files created with the DNG Converter, when both are processed in LR. How closely I'd wait DNG to match native files, and what explains the differences?

    Jeff

DNG and native raw files deal with exactly the same thing (with the same parameters). If you see differences, you have introduced the differences yourself.
