But, the State of opatches real run 'opatch prereq' and opatch does not recognize this setting. I suspect that it is a conflict of version somewhere.

I ran opatch against my approval of database 11g, and it is version 11. something opatch, who had no problem running this command even ("opatch prereq CheckConflictAgainstOHWithDetail - ph.") / »)

Why the new version of OPatch (MARCH 2012) does not fit for POWER 13919095 block and which version I should?

Published by: tbrinkmann on September 18, 2012 06:26

The error is misleading and I met usually this when I wrong specified the location of the hotfix.

That group of hotfixes contains actually the 2 patches, and you should not reference the subfolder 13919095 directly, but the location where you have unpacked.

Lets say you have unzipped the patch to/home/oracle/patch, then you should:

    opatch auto /home/oracle/patch -oh ...

    and is not

    opatch auto /home/oracle/patch/13919095 -oh ...

First of all - we understand what versions of JScript and VBScript script engines are installed on your system.

    2. Navigate to the %systemroot%\system32 directory.
    3. Right-click jscript.dll, select Properties, and then click the Details tab (repeat this step for vbscript.dll, that is in the same directory).

The version number is listed in the file Version field. If your version of the file starts with 5.8, for example 5.8.7600.16385, then JScript 5.8 is installed on your system.

    What version do you have?

  • OPatch version: java version 13.1 and approved?

    Hello

I prepare the installation of the hotfix and you get the following error:

    . / OPatch >. / opatch lsinventory - jdk $JAVA_HOME

/Home/Oracle/Java/JDK1.7.0_45/Bin/bin/Java is not a valid executable for this platform. OPatch cannot continue!

OPatch returns with error code = 1

    Version of the Oracle patch:

    OPatch version: 13.1.0.0.0

    YES version: 13.1.0.0.0

What version of Java is certified?

    Thank you

    Ministry of health

    Hi Moh,

I see that there are two times "bin" which is in your JAVA_HOME path: /home/oracle/java/jdk1.7.0_45/bin/bin/java

Above indicates that by mistake you may have set JAVA_HOME=/home/oracle/java/jdk1.7.0_45"/ bin" (this bin directory should not be here in JAVA_HOME)

Where as the correct JAVA_HOME for your environment should be: /home/oracle/java/jdk1.7.0_45

  • Issue by applying opatch 19434967 10.1.2 on ORACLE HOME

    Hi all

It is just an extension to the problem addressed in the previous post.

    10.1.2 OPATCH_JAVA_ERROR = CheckConflict: 19434967

During the application of the o patch 19434967 on Oracle Home, obtained with the error below 10.1.2.

    ERROR: 1

OPATCH_JAVA_ERROR = CheckConflict: OPatch cannot treat the patches of layering due to no support YES. Please take the last group of patches YES 10.1 "My Oracle Support", and then try again.

Impossible to check the bug/folder conflicts and component of due diligence.

For the error above asked patch 6640838 , IE install newer YES, who have successfully completed. But this Setup, downgrades the OPatch utility at 1.0.0.0.61, earlier it was 1.0.0.0.64, and this resulted in the error below when you apply the o19434967 patch for the second time.

    ERROR: 2

The patch 19434967 directory does not match the id of the patch.

ERROR: OPatch failed during pre-reqs check.

After some research, I found that the error(ERROR:2) above can be solved by installing the latest OPatch, if I did all the problem is repeated once again.

Can anyone please suggest how to apply this patch successfully.

    Thank you

    Moore.

  • Validation for opatch lsinventory test

I have a 12.1.0.2 grid and db Installation that was installed by someone else.

He also patched the system with the last power supply in April, but it doesn't look like this was done correctly. I want to be absolutely certain before I pretend he was not right.

Here is the output of opatch lsinventory. It seems to me that only the first node has been patched. Is this true?

    Hello Sir,

I try to upgrade EBS 11i to R12, I come to this place of the document

    · 27 apply additional 11.2.0.4 RDBMS patches

I had this error patch area directory must be a number, but I apply patches a lot before I do not had this error.

So please help me out in this matter.

    Thank you

    Ahmed.

    Hello

If you want to upgrade the database 11g and the application of R12 in the same window of downtime, then do not follow the document ID 881505.1 and rather follow Doc ID 1058763.1.

If you want to upgrade to 11g and stay on 11i for awhile, you can then follow the document 881505.1. Patching must be performed while the application is down.

The examples CD is in 6 of the fix 13390677file. When you click Download, you will get a list of 7 files.

Download files 1,2 and 6 only.

    Download OPatch step by step:

    1. Go to the download of patches
    2. Type the patch # 6880880
    3. Enter your platform (x 86 Linux, for example)
    4. Look for a patch with the description "hotfix version 11.2.0.3.10 of Oracle software OPatch publishes 11.2.0.x (April 2015).
    5. Download the patch
    6. Unzip the file into the 11.2.0.4 oracle home (unzip qo - p6880880_112000_LINUX.zip d $ORACLE_HOME)
    7. Check the version (version opatch)
