  I have a question about the Cisco C40.

  The Setup is:

  Multiple of 50 "led tv.

  Cisco C40

  Current situation in case of connection and presentation.

  First of all screen, presentation & end and near end small format.

  Second screen, only the presentation

  Desired situation.

  First screen, only-end (full screen)

  Second screen, only the presentation (full screen)

  I can't see the option in C40. Update the software most recent does not help.

  Someone has an idea?

• Profile of 52 (C40) with DualDisplay - question of presentation

  Hi all

  We currently have a facility only 52 profile screen (C40) in our conference room. Now, we think of the command DualDisplay option and using our projector as a secondary display for presentation only. Because of the existing wiring cables like this maybe we:

  laptop-> dvi / vga-> C40-> dvi-> projector

  So I would have no direct wiring between the laptop and beamer. Is a user in this scenario must begin the presentation of touch every time, even if the telepresence system would not be in use? For example, if five employees are in the meeting room and someone wants to show a presentation? In thinking about the EX-dispositifs 'format' - signal is still active because you can use it as a desktop computer. Is something like this for the C40 codec?

  Hi Daniel,.

  Texp systems are more like personal systems that are on the desktop or workstations. Privacy, therefore, is not a problem with them.

  However, C Series codecs are integrators and mainly used in meeting rooms and they need protection of personal information. For this reason, they are required to activate the presentation even if endpoint is not a call. Therefore, you need to enable the presentation to see on the second poster.

• C40 how to disable local photo content as the default on the introduction screen when there is no presentation

  We have a conference room with a C40 facility.

  We have several projectors that we can control the content of the codec appears which projector.

  When this piece is in a direct appeal of the VC and the East end of talk/active with presentation - all is well main projector a Live, other 2 projectors have presentation flow. This is when the content of the presentation the end stops, & the person speak always active - the local 2 projectors who did not have the presentation now show the picture of local Codec on the screens. Would prefer that they will just black. As the local camera or not can someone have in there.

  Do you care about at the second output to display selfview will your presentation projectors?  Try changing the output mode 2 display only presentaiton.  I guess that it is set to dual right now?

• Satellite C40 - cannot select MSC option at startup

  Hi all

  I can't boot from ANY external USB drive as I can't select the MSC option in the boot menu in the BIOS. IT is flawed in the UEFI and is grayed out. I disable secure boot, have tried all the suggestions of what I could find. Is there a way to boot from anything except internal SSD? I can't believe that Toshiba would make such a choice disabling!

  My laptop is Toshiba Satellite C40-C-10 q

  Yes, I have the same problem as well. And have requested such assistance. Toshiba does not help this problem. I even paid technical support and they couldn't deal with it. But the only thing I've found works is that if you convert the hard disk to format GPT format, then maybe the laptop detects the hard drive via a usb connection, which you have described.

  You could just hit escape in your keyboard while making a start cold.

  Or even boot from a usb thumbdrive image operating system to access the repair options.

  Then try to access the command prompt.

  Type "diskpart" in command prompt. Then press

  Enter "list disk" in command prompt. Then press

  Find your hard drive from the list of hard drives. Make sure that you fit the hard drive on the list with the size of the disk ssd.

  Once you do this, note the number of the disk.

  Once you make a note of it, select this drive by following these steps:
  Enter "Select disk (for example" select disk 3 ' would be a good example, but it depends on YOUR disc for your ssd number). " Then press

  Enter the command 'convert to GPT", press

  You will see a message response to leave the command prompt you stating the conversion process succeeded in TPG.

  And if you get a message that it could not be converted, then maybe it's because you have information on him and he needs to be formatted to convert format MBR to GPT format.

  You should get a pop-up of the start screen for the installation of your windows operating system. Yes, click on setup. Agree to the terms. Do a custom installation and NOW YOU WILL SEE your virtual hard drive partition and now you could install os windwos on it.

  Please note: it worked only with image bootable usb windows 8.1 carrier os and not for windows 7 and it may work for windows 10, but I'm not too sure that it will work because it has not worked for me.

  I hope this helps. If you still have problems with detecting the ssd or HDD virtual so I don't know what to tell you. I must warn you that if you do one of these things that YOU back UP THE information PRESENT ON OUR SSD, OKAY.

• C40: View local PC content to no connection with 2nd screen

  The PC is connected to the C40 (TC7.1) as the source for the presentation. Is there a way to automatically display the contents of this PC when side end does not transfer any content?

  (With other words, screen should always display the content of PC except the far end side content transfers)

  Hello Jürgen-

  It is not possible that I know to automatically send the source of presentation without intervention by the user through the remote control or touch the Panel to send to the far site.  However, you can configure the enter presentation display automatically on the screen when it is plugged into the codec, then all you have to do is, by far the site send.

• C40 Cisco does not go on standby mode

  I have a problem with a Cisco C40 where the codec simply is not going to go into sleep mode. I tried every possible thing to make it work, but without success. When I use Putty and you connect to it and sent the normal control: xcommand Eve turn on it goes to sleep. I also did a system reset, without success.

  When using the graphical interface and tell the system to go into mode after 1 minute, the system will remain forever.

  Anyone else having this problem, I have a second Cisco C40 who started doing this morning so I'm not sure what to do. I also noticed that the codec comes out of sleepmode the source presentation will change also to the main camera.

  The problem may be caused (in the screenshot eln_1.png) to have the Source of presentation to the source of the main camera.  This must be set on an other sources and not the main camera.

  Able to provide the whole xconfig one of the devices having the question rather than just two screenshots of the web interface, which do not show everything?

• How to check that the C40 is an option for multisite

  Do my first multisite with new C40 and for some reason, no audio or video is received on each side of a 3-way call.  2-way standard calls work perfect.  We do not use a gateway.  The software version is TC4.2.1.265253.  I have 3 other side of 95 to this place that work very well.  None of the additional steps were needed to those that relate to a multisite call.  I went through the menu of the C40, but I don't see any options that seem out of place.

  -1 x Movi

  C40 launches a MultiSite opening C20 and Movi. In C40 I got several presentation of the screen but to the Movi and C20, I had available to active speakers (to not)

  several layout of the screen). Is this normal or should I get several presentation screen in Movi and C20?

  Depends on what "distance in family" has been defined, you can set this to anything you want or by

• Tactile TC6 - presentation by default secondary camera

  After upgrading my C40 to TC6, when I do a presentation of the touch screen defaults to the secondary camera (source 2) instead of PC (source 3). The parameters DefaultPresentationSource affects only the remote standard and probably Call Control in the Web GUI.

  Is there a way to get this back to normal without downgrading or the purchase of new HDMI-VGA cables?

  It is a problem in the TC6.0 release and had a bug in TC6.1 (alpha version now).

• C40 - using a HDMI 2 input

  I have a C40 with double screen connected to two televisions sharp 80 "and a Smartboard projector.  Concept design is TV 1 (end) video and content delivered to TV 2 and SmartBoard with the source or the other being a portable instructors or a document camera.  If I connect the laptop HDMI output at the entrance of the C40 HDMI 2 and I also connect a document camera out DVI to DVI C40 in, is there a way to select the source in order to display the content?

  Yes, you can select the source of presentation you want in the menu or by pressing and holding down the presentation button, which will give you the same options you get when you go through the menu. See the attached screenshots. This is assuming that you have configured sources, see "source.gif.

• Presenter PowerPoint on Mac mini mode displayed on the screen and the projector when using HDMI splitter

  We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

  It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

  When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.

  Of course if we have to use the MacBook for presentations instead of the Mac mini, you would need to have seen the presenter on both the screen and on the screen of the MacBook.

  In the Mac mini display preferences there is no button to "Gather Windows" when the Mac mini is attached to the screen and the projector via HDMI splitter is a tab "setting."

  But these two things appear on the MacBook when it is connected.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I have a Logitech R400 that needs to be able to control the PowerPoint on a Mac mini.

  Yesterday it worked fine.

  Today, he works only sporadically, and I have not changed a thing. It's still the same presentation.

  Sometimes, you can change the slide and sometimes you can't (even when standing very close to the Mac mini).

  the remote uses a USB wifi dongle and operates on the 2.4 GHz band.

  This band is susceptible to interference and I think that is causing your problem.

  Peripheral USB 3 is a source of interference.

  Try to use the dongle at the end of an extension USB cable

  Why presentations Keynote iCloud can not play on any browser?  I am trying to format the 6 pages of interactive text to be displayed on any smartphone and I realize that users must have Keynote installed, or they are out of luck!

  My bad.  Collaborate lets others with a link to view the Keynote presentation.  Transitions, constructions, and hyperlinks are all active in the view.
