Presentations PDF import

Hello

I need to work on a presentation PDF and import this file into keynote. Is this possible at all?

See you soon,.

Jens

If the PDF file has several pages, it must convert that Keynote can import individual pages.

Open the PDF in preview from the Applications folder, drag and drop each page on the browser panel in Keynote. Unfortunately, several pages in a PDF file can not be imported in Keynote as a group.

Try to use a script to process your PDF as Image, or Image Processor Pro image converter processor.  These script can open a PDF with PDF optrions to circumvent the pop-up.  I opened the PDF in Photoshop.

How to create a PDF with Photoshop CS 4 presentation?

    Hello

Are you referring to the presentation PDF automation which was in PS CS3? This functionality has been moved to bridge with the release of CS4. You can learn more about this here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440989

You can still save as PDF with CS4, but automation presentation PDF is now performed through Bridge.

    See you soon!

  • Police is available in the new doc, but not PDF imported

I created a pdf file by using Adobe PDF (Distiller I guess, the print dialog box option) which uses free fonts Caudex per Hjort Nidudsson | Font squirrel -i.e. Caudex. Caudex displayed in the PDF file correctly in Acrobat/Adobe Reader. If I any pdf file in Photoshop Caudex poster correctly and is available for new blocks of text. If I create a new doc in artificial intelligence, Caudex is available and works as expected. But if I import my pdf in AI, Caudex is marked as not valid and marked with an asterisk is out.

  • all presented in import of web app

I import a number of elements of web application and a number of customers, and I want to connect each customer with their own elements of web app.

This can be done manually by setting the "presented by" in the web, but is application element - it possible to do this through an import element web app?

I believe you are referring to the EntityID. The customer ID using CRM in this area should connect client and WebApp.

  • Pdf Import/Export help - about to return the program :(

I bought the program because I was told I can import a pdf file and export it as a pdf/x-2002. I have read through discussions and troubleshooting tutorials and I have not seen anything on how to do it. Help, please! I'm about to go back to the program.

You can place a PDF file in InDesign, InDesign can export PDF / X 3-2002, and if the conversion of the format (without modification) is your only goal, you can Acrobat Pro instead. If you do not need to edit the files, you should get native files; PDF is designed as a final product, not a working file.

  • How can I select text in a PDF imported from Photoshop (place)?

    Hello

I try to use InDesign to generate links in a file created by Photshop that must ultimately be in PDF format. This is my first time using InDesign. I originally placed the PSD himself file in InDesign, but soon realized that the rasterized text when importing. I read somewhere on these boards that import a Photoshop PDF instead allows to keep the text, and it's true. Clearly it's vector and I can zoom as much as I love and see that the text is smooth.

However, in order to create hypertext links, I need to select the text, and I am unable to do this - all the imported image is a solid block in a framework. Any ideas?

My workaround solution should which is not possible is to understand how to create links between a rectangular area. This would have the same effect, I think.

    Thank you!

You can't dig anything within a file - even if the PDF file has 'real text' in it, InDesign treats like any other graphic image. Similarly, well that when you export to PDF, the placed file will appear again as a 'real' text, no interactivity in any PDF file is destroyed; creating thus the links in the PDF file will not help either.

What you do is not the correct workflow, but if you went too far, this path to backtrack, you have two options to create links that alignment visually with the contents of the file placed - you can use the link tool in Acrobat (easier, because once you're in the final PDF file text is selectable - then right-click to display the context menu with "create a link" at the bottom) or you can create an empty rectangular block in InDesign, brand, which frame a hyperlink (select the image itself, then add a hyperlink using the Panel), then place it on the text.

  • Adobe Presenter 8 / import of Captivate

    Hello

Can you tell me what version of Captivate can be imported into Adobe Presenter 8? I know it must be AS3 but do not know what they use Captivate 5 and 5.5 Captivate. I have co-workers using C5, C5.5 and 6 Captivate and I wanted to advise.

    Thank you very much.

    Susan

    Susan,

Captivate 4 and newer have all the outputs to AS3, so they should all work.

  • Why not my forms pdf import into Word or Pages correctly?

How is it that when I create a form in Acrobat Pro, fill it out and save it in pdf format, and then import or place the file saved in a Word or document Pages that ONLY the form fields are visible data or not filled in?  I tried everything I know and it happens every time.  Thank you.

Try to flatten the fields first. This might help: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1110315?tstart=0

If this isn't the case, post again.

  • PDF import

Is there a way via applescript to import a group of PDFs in a document of several pages, so that each pdf is displayed on a page?

I think it's a broad question. Just never tried an import of multi page and then putting on several pages. InDesign has some code shortened AppleScript for this, or I do loops for each Pdf be placed on each PDF page.

Any suggestions on where to find the information, or how to do something like that?

You want to write one for yourself, or do you need just the feature?

If the latter: not a script AppleScript, but PDF Multipage import Scott Zanelli sounds like it should do the job: ndd - files.php http://indesignsecrets.com/zanelli-releases-multipageimporter-for-importing-both-pdf-and-i

  • Stamp missing PDF importing in InDesign

I asked this in the forum of Acrobat, but on further investigation, it seems to be a problem of ID.

I was sent a PDF file to include in a magazine I put on the page. This PDF was created by one person and has an element that has been added by another. This added element is a stamp added in Acrobat.

When I opened it in Acroboat (9.5.1) it seems as it should. The document prints correctly, including the stamp so that I can print stamps & paper in the print dialog box.

However, when I place it in a (6.0.6) document ID, this new item * stamp) is not (and does not print).

What must be done either in the source document with the stamp or the import of ID to get the stamp to show?

A stamp in a PDF document is an annotation and not part of the PDF file.  The term for inegrating annotations (and other auxiliary items) in a PDF file is called "flattening".  Once the PDF file is flattened, the stamp should appear in InDesign.  However, pleasant results may not be so simple - you can't have a stamp of low resolution in a piece of paper, for example.

  • pdf import procedure

I'm on RH8. I get a message saying file corrupted when I try to import PDFS. I found the news of Peter re: this problem on its site as follows:

Importing a PDF file results in a corrupted file message or an invalid file format.

Oddly, you may get this message if you import a PDF file that was created in a version of Acrobat, including one that comes with RoboHelp 8.

To test this situation is initially import an old PDF or created by another author PDF.

The solution is to set Acrobat to save with the Acrobat 5 compatibility.

Last updated January 27, 2011. This problem has been fixed in RoboHelp 9.

I need more information and a procedure for doing what is suggested here.

your second approach has worked. I don't think that this error has been corrected even in HR 8.02.

  • Help with PDF import Indesign CS5 trial version

Hello: I'm in a bit of a quandry. I have many PDF files I want to convert it to Epub. I called Adobe and asked them what program I need to do and they said InDesign CS5, so I downloaded the trial version to check it out. The problem is that there is no command to 'place' in the trial version, which is how could import the PDF file. So I'm left unable to perform a test with this software and don't want to buy a program that I can not confirm. Workarounds or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Krista

No command to place? Check work spaces to make sure that you do not have one that hides the menu items.

Secondly, I don't see how InDesign is going to be the right tool for this.

  • A loop presentation PDF

    Hello

I make an interactive PDF to InDesign CS5 and would like to have the loop of the presentation. I have my set page transitions, but I don't see anywhere to put it to loop. Is there a setting in InDesign/Acrobat that I'm missing? Is this possible?

I use Acrobat Pro 9.3.3 and InDesign CS5 7.0 Pro

It is a set of preference in Acrobat format not the file:

Check the loop after the last box of the page.
