pressing play does not play video

Noticing a problem with Premiere pro cc Version 9.2.0 (41)

I have install a multi cam edit.  In the preview of a clip or the full SS.  Pressing on > play or the space bar, changes of the triangle to play icon icon stop box, but it does not play, does not move the playhead, the image does not play. The rest of the program seems to work, no reported errors.  My initial dose has been save, exit, project to start again and from time to time that would work.  Allowing me to get through some of the change.  Then simply not play more as described above.

Think it is a matter of Adobe Premiere, as all the other functions of the system are working properly.  That is to say) VLC plays the clips, winamp plays audio...

If someone has a parameter to verify or correct, would be very grateful.

S

I use win10 and have started a new project.

Always the same question, he will work a few times and then initially explained.

Its unbearable to edit like this.  Go to first Pro CC to uninstall and reinstall.

I'll let you know the results...

Uninstall it / reinstalling does not fix it.

Then read something about microsoft office and GDI + does not seem to nowhere getting me.

Then found an old article indicating - delete the Cache folder via

Edition-Preferences-media - media Cache database - clean.

Seems had toured it.

Hey mick3690, this is probably due to the recent update of the plugin to version 11.3 adobe flash. It has caused similar problems for many other users (chrome & IE get provided with a different version of the plugin by adobe).

You can try to remove flash 11.3 of the section of the configuration/program windows downgrade to an earlier version & Control Panel, until adobe fixes these problems.

I used my Vista 64 computer to edit video standard def captured by firewire for years. Now I'm trying to capture HDV over firewire. When the camcorder is connected and video output Standard DV, capture works very well (and your camcorder appears in the device under imaging devices Manager). However, when I change the output of the HDV camcorder on the same firewire link, the computer gets no video. He is able to control the camcorder to the computer, but no video. Hi Sharpvideo,

    1. from when are you facing this problem?
2 recent changes on your computer?

You can import video from a videotape in a video camera digital high definition (HDV) on your computer by using import video. When you import video from a videotape in an HDV camera on your computer, the video on the tape is encoded high-definition in a video file and then saved on a hard drive of your computer.
Your computer must be running Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate to import high definition video from a camcorder to your computer by using import video in Windows Vista.
For questions and answers about importing video from an HDV camera, see import of high definition video: frequently asked questions.

To import the entire video from a videotape in an HDV camera

Make sure that your HDV camera is connected to your computer via an IEEE 1394 connection, and then set the HDV camera to playback of recorded video (usually called VTR, VCR, or playback on the camera).
Start Windows Movie Maker (click Start, click all programs, and then click Windows Movie Maker).
On the file menu, click Import from digital video camera.
In the name box, type a name for the video file for the imported video.
Choose a location to save your video file from the import to list, or click Browse to choose another location.
In list Format, high definition video device Format (MPEG) must be selected. Click Next.
Click Import the entire videotape to my computer (if it is not already started), and then click Next.

The video tape will be rewound to the beginning, and the entire videotape will be imported to your computer.
The video file imported high-definition is saved as a file to the Microsoft recorded TV show, which is an MPEG-2 video file with a .dvr-ms file name extension.
(Optional) If you want to stop importing video before the end of the video, click on stop and then click Yes.
    Click Finish.

The imported video is saved as a video file on your computer and appears in Windows Movie Maker.

  • YouTube Widget does not display video preview

    Dear all,

I joined my YouTube sharing code in the YouTube widget, and the message appears: "unable to generate the thumbnail.  When I arrived to an overview page/site live, YouTube game box comes up, but he said: "year error occurred, please try again later."  I work with the last update on Muse on an iMac 10.10.3 with Java script active and the latest version of Adobe Flash player installed.  I've read all the bug reports on the YouTube widget, but they were all over six months, and I assumed that bugs should be fixed with the latest updates from Muse.  Any suggestions as to why the widget does not work and how to work around?  Nothing breaks down, but it's not just raising the video.

    Thanks.A

    Dear all,

I'll answer my own question after a chat session with Adobe support.  When you paste into your video from your YouTube sharing area ID, do not enter the characters of https://youtu.be/ - simply enter your video ID characters that follow after.  After entering the ID correctly, the YouTube preview opens without a problem in my "Preview in the browser Site.  One small thing to lose so much time, so I write for everyone in the future and learn from!  I used to just copy and paste the full url, but don't here!  Good luck to all!

  • Vista does not recognize videos on my SD from Panasonic camera card.

I have a Panasonic HD camera and record pictures and video on this subject. When I connect the camera to my computer Vista OS ACER 5515, it only reads the photos and not the videos, when I connect the same camera to my XP system, I have no problem with transfer of videos. The same camera software is on both computers. How can I get this problem corrected?

    Hi mark44004,

    1. were you able to transfer videos before?

    2. what happens when you try to access the videos?

    3. what happens if you copy the videos from the camera to a folder on your hard drive?

    4. What is the file format or the file of the video file extension?

This can occur if a video file type is not supported on Vista.

  • Vista does not recognize video card

I recently moved, and after I put my computer my monitor is not a signal. I plugged my monitor on the main port and it came. My computer does not recognize the card in the Device Manager. I opened it and inspected the map for all the Visual problems and plugged it upward and noticed that the fan on the graphics card not working. I then did a full restore of the system, reinstalled the installation CD supplied with the card after you disable the onboard and restarted my computer. Still does not recognize the card and after restarting it on my integrated card. Then, I went into the BIOS and selected PCI-E as my first. So... im out of ideas here, if the fan is still ongoing is not the card still work? I don't have another office to plug it in. Is there another way to know if the card works? Why it can't recognize the graphics card which was working fine before the move? On a side note, the computer was unplugged for 2 weeks during this time, but I don't know why this could be a problem.

    IM using Vista 32 bit.

    Hi Myriam.
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers forum
If the fan on the card does not is an indicator that the card is not powered, so the only way to test it is to plug it into another machine to see if the motherboard is not giving power or is the card that is bad. You can also try to plug a PCI-E device and see if it has power.

You have all the cables connected directly from the power supply to the graphics card?

  • Firefox does not download videos from youtube in HD

Hi, I'm having some problems with my video of games on firefox. For some reason when I discovered some of my videos on firefox, they do not play in HD format and in 360 p. But when I watch on iphone, internet explorer or google chrome I can play them in HD very well. I tried this on several computers, portable computers and they all have the same question. I tried the app that switches between html5 and flash player but causing mozilla to sometimes crash.

    For example:
    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=f8LABm8Y6VU

I noticed that it happens once I changed on windows movie maker, even though I just publish the movie to 1080 p in mpeg4 format settings. Other videos that I did not change and directly exported from Elgato Capture HD60 game are very good.

    For example:
    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=pcjoM421GhQ

Advice on how to solve this problem would be much appreciated!
    Thank you.

I managed to solve the problem. I needed to import the TS file instead of the Mpeg4 file in windows movie maker for editing. When I did this, the final video played in HD on all platforms.

Have used Windows Media Player for many years on my dell. Usually to see the videos from Sony handycam. Just downloaded wmediaplayer and recent videos from Camcorder will not open one of the videos.

The following message is displayed "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or a required codec may not be installed on your computer. »

Your computer may be missing code, download and install K-lite code pack can solve the problem. K-lite code Pack is free and safe, and it includes almost every video code and audio code.

Or try VLC player, it's a free video player that supports videos from sony.

Or you can convert the video sony video wmv, and then you can use windows media player to play.

  • fcpX loads but does not show videos on memory card

FCPX suddenly stopped displaying items in the viewer of my card (shot on Canon XA10) imports, after years of doing.  It shows that music videos are loading.  My solution is to import into Imovie and send to the PCF.  IMovie has no trouble reading the card. It all started when I tried to delete a clip on the map of the import window.  I hit the delete or DELETE or Ctrl delete option command.  I don't know who.  Somehow a setting has been changed.  Does make sense to anyone?  Thank you in advance for your help!

The simple solution: back up everything you have on this card (that you already have, you haven't?), insert the card in the camera and format it there.

One generally accepted rule that the camera cards should not be tempered with in your computer. If you want to delete clips or format the card, do so in camera.

  • Primere Pro does not allow video clips?

Whenever I put in a video clip in the timeline Pro Primer, it does work as audio file. This is meaningless because I shot my camera on them and they are on all .mov files and work very well on Quicktime.  However whenever you drag in the first clip, it will work and open the timeline, but for any other clip after that as you try to put in the time line he won't let not you put in the video section and only allow you to put it in the section audio why is this and how can I solve this problem?

  • PC does not recognize video card

I had bought an EVGA Geforce GT610 graphics card and installed in my HP Pavilion 500 - 54 (Windows OS 8.1). When I tried to install the video drivers (latest drivers from EVGA) for the new video card I received a message as the "graphics driver cannot find compatible devices. Also the new map did not appear anywhere in the graphics card or anywhere in the Device Manager. I've disabled the secure boot mode and disabled slot security legacy for the pci slot where the video card. Yet I still can't the PC to recognize the video card (which is compatible with this system). I tried to uninstall the pilots on board, but that did not help. The PC should recognize the video card, when he was put in the x 16 pci slot. Someone has or has had this problem and have you found a solution to the problem. And Yes, I have tried the card in another PC and it works fine. I have exhausted all avenues of solution up to now and still can not solve this problem. Any advice or fixes will be greatly appreciated.

Only, I solved the problem. It turns out that the instructions on adding a video card failed a defintely detail to include.  As well as strives mode, you need to go into the boot settings and select legacy boot.  I thought that ithat legacy mode automatically would have done, but I shouldn't assume. All is well now. It detected the video card and drivers have been installed. Thanks for the suggestions. I hope this helps someone else with the same problem.
