Pressure of the pen in PS CC 2014 with the Cintiq partner!

I downloaded PS CC 2014, because I was so happy about the new multitouch features on my companion of Cinitq of Wacom.

But the new PS CC 2014 recognizes no pen pressure or other features of Wacom as tilt!

It's terrible. I can't use PS atm.

I've updated the drivers, I have reinstalled the drivers, I reinstalled PS, without any fortune!

It just doesn't.

I have to blame CC 2014 PS, because the Wacom pen works fine in Photoshop CS 5 (wich luckly remains, but there is no chance to return to PS CC). Other programs such as krita oder Mudbox work very well also!

Please fix it as soon as possible!

PS_CC_2014_fail.PNG

Now, I got a Wacom working solution:

Ink Windows and related features are Microsoft - some may be disabled in the control panel "Tablet PC settings. For pressure in 2014 CC PS enable "use Windows Ink" or activate the wintab feature again in Photoshop. To do this create a text file in a text editor such as Notepad.

Type the following lines:

# Use WinTab

UseSystemStylus 0

[Save the file as a text file named PSUserConfig.txt and save the file in the Photoshop settings folder: C:\Users\[User name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2014\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings\ CC

I really do not understand why Adobe changed this behavior and hide behind a command-line level hack?

  • Why Photoshop CC 2014 acknowledge the pressure of the pen or pen tilt my Cintiq 13HD?

I just installed Photoshop CC 2014 and it does not seem to recognize the pressure of the pen and the tilt of the pen for my Tablet? (I get the icon exclamation point in the settings of the brush). I have no problem with CC 64-bit Photoshop. I am running Windows 8.1 with the latest Wacom Cintiq drivers. Is there any solution for this?

I saw this posted in a thread

Photoshop CC 2014 changes Microsoft system to the use of stylus API, with these APIs, you must have Windows active ink. These APIs give better race results and improve the experience out of the box for users using Windows tablet/convertible devices. If you want to revert to the old WinTab of previous versions implementation follow these steps:

Create a file that contains instructions to restore the WinTab feature.

Create a text file in a text editor such as Notepad.

    Type the following lines:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

[Save the file as a text file named PSUserConfig.txt and save the file in the Photoshop settings folder: C:\Users\[User name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2014\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings\ CC.

To disable the functionality of the gestalt, delete the file PSUSerConfig.txt. Otherwise, move it to a different folder, if it doesn't contain other controls, or change the lines so that they read:

    # Use the native tablet support for Win8

    UseSystemStylus 1

  • Pen pressure does not work in Photoshop CC 2014 (using remember tablet)

I just recently remember H610 Pro tablet. After installing the driver, I tested the sensitivity of the stylus in the pad mini test that provides the pilot of Oh and the pressure on my pen sensitivity totally worked well. The problem is that when I used Photoshop CC (2014) and select 'pen pressure' in the 'dynamic form' tab, I see a triangle with an exclamation mark inside, indicating that Photoshop does not recognize my pen pressure. I can draw very well, but I have zero sensitivity pen! I use windows 8, and I have already made sure I used the tablet driver update. I tried uninstalling my drivers and resettlement, then by restarting my laptop, but so far, nothing has worked!
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks a bunch!

  • Pressure from the pen of Photoshop Inactive

    Heyo!

For the last day or two, pressure of the pen works fine. Whenever I make the brush strokes, these are solid lines instead of be conical. To make things more heinous, even the Visual image of my brush in the right corner displays any kind of cone. Photoshop does simply not recognize if diminishing, however, other dynamic shape tools work. I can adjust the brush and the others, but I can't react to the pressure of the stylus.

Now, I've uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop without success.

    pen pressure.PNG

So I thought that maybe my drivers for my Ugee 1910 b can be updated; However the stylus pressure works perfectly well in Storyboard Pro and any other drawing program. It is precisely photoshop which refuses to recognize the stylus pressure.

    storyboard pro.PNG

This is a Storyboard Pro line, tapering obvious and the stylus pressure.

I looked around forums and online and can't find this specific problem. Usually it's someone forgets to put the pressure of the stylus, or that they do not receive pressure of the pen on any program.

Also, I use Windows 10 and a big update that happened a few days ago and I don't trust the two are related.

Any help would be very happy!

I had the same problem a month ago.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for Wacom and who sets.  Restart the computer before the reinstall.

Animate is a Wintab app and requires drivers WinTab detect and work with pen pressure and Tilt. You can also visit Microsoft troubleshoot the feather of Microsoft Surface for Surface Pro 3 and 3 surface for more information. • Helps with the pressure of the pen on the Tablet

So I looked around all this morning and I wasn't sure if he should ask adobe or monoprice, so I came here first.

Yesterday, I got a tablet of Monoprice (5553 model I think). I use Windows 8 and I downloaded the latest compatible driver from the logic of the UC, rebooted the system, and that plugged into the tablet itself and let it install. The pressure of the pen works perfectly in the tests/configuration. It does not, however, in photoshop CS6 and activation of pressure of the pen in the shape Dynamics I always get the "!" who says need a pressure sensitive tablet. Is it because I missed a setting in photoshop? Do I need a different driver? Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated.

Well, this has been fixed with this band of working capital: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1405422

So as one solution for others who have this problem:

-Create a text file (in something like Notepad) and write:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

Name it PCSystemConfig.txt and then save it in C:\Users\[User name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings\ CC. (or another year if that is what you have.)

-If the cursor is out of sync with the time, go to the control panel-> hardware and audio-> display and point set size to small. Make sure that the changes take effect.

-Open photoshop once everything is activaated and registered.

Everyone says that it is a driver problem. Hell, I should read more before you post a thread, huh?

  • turn on/off the pressure of the pen in flash cc

    Hello

I feel quite stupid, but I can't find the 'pen pressure' or 'pen ' or sensitivity any setting allowing the use of a tablet in Flash CC. I've scoured the forums for a few hours and noticed that a lot of problems with the tablets does not... but I find not all settings to change otherwise as "smoothing". There are no settings in the Flash under the "Drawing" preferences. When you select the brush and the Properties window pops up, there are no options to select the pen pressure or tilt. If I'm not mistaken he used to be under the timeline. Looked like a pen with a target sub and you just clicked on.

Either I am stupid or crazy, but I don't think it would be a problem. My Tablet has all the latest drivers and works very well in other home software.

I am at a loss. Help my Obi Wan, or Adobe Admin or kind stranger. Whoever you are. I'll cook you a few digital muffins.

    Muffinface

It seems that I am crazy AND dumb. I found a solution. Since I work on a laptop computer, the toolbar is crumpled in a band. When I move and expand the options of pressure tilt and pen appear.

Thank you, me. You are great.

  • Turn off the pressure of the pen tablet for eraser in PES 10 tool?

Hi, I recently bought 10 PSE.

I have an Intuos 3 Wacom tablet and whenever I go to the Eraser tool in the preview icon of brush (upper-left) I see this type of ~ a form with narrow-sharp edges, indicating that the function of size-pen-pressure is running.

This is always true, even when I turn off all the options by pressure, through the Brush tool.

Can someone hint how to control or at least disable the function of the pen pressure then in the Eraser tool?

    Thank you.

One way would be to use brushes which are not defined by default for all functions of pressure.

Or if you need a special brush you could save the brush without any adjustment of pressure with the brush selected tool

and these settings should deferred for the Eraser tool.

In addition, you can set the mode erase with the Brush tool and which behaves like the Eraser tool set to the brush mode.

  • No option of pressure of the pen in Photoshop CC on Mac?

    Hey there.

I recently got a macbook pro for my art, and I noticed that Photoshop CC doesn't have an option for the stylus pressure. I have not seen anyone with this problem.

When you draw in photoshop, there are certainly some pressure of the stylus. However, I wish to address, and I know that you can usually do so by going to the settings of the brush and switching on the dynamics of the form. This does not, however, that even with the dynamics of top form, there is simply no option for this. No jitter either. Just size, hardness and spacing.

If it helps, the Tablet I have is a creation of Bamboo of Wacom. I am also under OS X, 10.9.

This list on the left is important - you have selected tip shape controls, not the full brush controls or the predefined.

  • pressure of the stylus does not work in Photoshop cc 14

    Hello

IM using Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq 12 Wx.

In the properties of the system, all right, that the stylus pressure works correctly, as well as in other programs, but Photoshop.

But in the pen of Photoshops settings, there is a small exclamation mark just before the pressure of the pen settings, indicating that the pressure of the stylus does not work.

I don't know what to do, please help!
If you need information, bad write everything down, which is necessary... (I don't know what exactly what is needed).

    Thanks in advance.

    1. create a Notepad and type:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

Save it as a text file named PSUserConfig.txt

    2. Open Run command and type appdata, and press ENTER key

    3. go to the location:

    Roaming - Adobe - Adobe Photoshop CC2014 - Adobe Photoshop CC2014 settings

    4. move the file PSUserConfig.txt to the folder settings Adobe Photoshop CC 2014

  • Pressure of the stylus does not work

Hi guys, just to set a base I use photoshop cc 2015.5.0 and one Intuous 3 on Windows 10.  I recently had to Photoshop to uninstall and reinstall to fix a few bugs I've met, but this introduces a new bug that I can't fix.  Photoshop does not seem to recognize my pressure of the pen, but only when I put my tablet to 'mouse '.  My pen and Tablet are always part of the pressure, I checked, but for some reason any photoshop actually seems to think that I use a mouse instead of a pen when I use this setting.  No other program seems to have this problem.  Before I reinstalled photoshop this question did not and 'mouse' simply meant my Tablet has been available as a mouse mapping, but photoshop has always recognized the pen and all its features.

Things, I tried to solve this problem.

    -Reinstalled the driver

    -Reinstalled photoshop

-Reset the settings of photoshops (ctrl + alt + shift at startup)

-Do you have the PSUserConfig.txt thing

-Messed around with pen windows and settings shortcuts to see if that would fix it

Taken-the pen (who was suggested on other forums)

-Plug the tablet in and out and changed USB ports

I have not yet found a viable solution.  Anyone here have any other suggestions?  I considered that this could be a problem with win 10 thinking my tablet is a mouse, but the pressure running in other apps even when the value layout 'mouse' which seems not to be the case.  This is just photoshop, and I can't convince him that its still a pen.

I am a jerk, I copied the PSUserConfig.txt file in the photoshop of 2015 cc folder, because that's what the instructions said and I should I have copied in the folder of cc 2015.5.0.  After doing that I now pen pressure, even if adobe really should specify in the instructions that the file should be copied to the folder of the last version, rather than naming a specific path (I have copy and paste which leads me to the wrong file).

Wish that it would recognize the pen without this fix.

  • Brush control with CTRL + ALT + click right + mouse/pen movement does not work with the tool liquify (photoshop cc 2015): what should I do?

Brush control with CTRL + ALT + click right + mouse/pen movement does not work with the tool of liquefy; I can't change the size of the brush or hardness. OS win 7 Professional 64 bit, wacom tablet intuos 6.3.14 - 1 driver s pro, Photoshop 2015 CC worm.  2015.0.1 20150722.r.168

What are your settings of GPU acceleration?  As I understand it, the Alt right click size and hardness adjust needs acceleration GPU to be turned on, but I have a feeling Brush hardness is always set to easy when using fluidity.  You can still see the quick mask as representation of the soft brush when Alt right click, but you can't change the hardness.

Is that you can change the brush size and pressure (framed in red in my screenshot) Alt right click drag left and right changes size and down to pressure changes, and you can see what is happening in real-time by looking at the sign on the right.  It works independently of your acceleration GPU (IME) settings, but you don't get the effect of soft red quick mask.

Does this fit with what you see, or you are not able to change things at all?  If not, then I've always found that fluidity consumes system resources, if you could check the Task Manager > Performance tab to see what kind of RAM and CPU use is using the fluidity.  That's what I see after direction the lens above with a big brush continuously for 10 seconds.  Note This is on a fairly quick NLE System.
