L7780 all-in-one printer does not start make

The printer is stuck in an infinite loop of starting with the control panel not showing that the HP screen with the rolling radius, the power button light flashing and a paper feeding mechanism works and sometimes fax will beep every 30 seconds. The printer then repeates the sequence.

I tried to reset the options # + 3, # 6, # + 9 but the best response is the screen display language in the background selection masked by the message "power off, and then click" Control Panel.  Accepts power takes and the boot in the infinite loop sequence.

Connection to the laptop to try to diagnose or install a new firmware is failed course because the printer performs the computer starts arguing with her.

Have another short of options that may disconnect the on-board battery to clear no matter what memopr, however I do not see the battery.

Problem solved by removing the printer part to extract the circuit board and remove the battery for a few minutes.  Reinstall the battery and the circuit printed then restarted with # option + 6.  Control found on the printer.

EVERYTHING IS RUNNING WELL HUNG OF THE PRINTER. THE DEFAULT PRINTER IN THE RIGHT IMAGE. THE ONLY THING I NOTICED WAS IN THE PORT AREA. UNDER THE WINDOW VISTA, I GOT TWO PORTS. ONE WAS FOR THE PRINTER AND OTHER FAX. WHEN THE HP PRINTER HAS BEEN REINSTALLED, I DON'T KNOW IF IT STARTED WITH ONLY ONE PORT. • 4380 all-in-one printer does not detect the print cartridge

My all-in-one printer (model 4380 vivera, bought in Switzerland) does not detect the print cartridges. I traded the color cartridge with that of another, older than I was and now everything is fine. I don't know when, this problem will arise again. The last time I was so frustrated that I bought another printer (HP 2050) which seems to work without problems. I have unplugged, replugged and clean the cartridges with filtered water. The problem may arise at any time. Help, please. Thank you.

I'm sorry you have a problem with your ink not detected.

The problem may be because the printer is of the Switzerland and the ink cartridges are NOT. The printer will only accept cartridges of the same region/country.

For example, if you are in the United States and buy a printer and the cartridges come from GERMANY, he cannot read. Will suit most, but some of the contacts are different causing not well read the cartridge from the printer.

    Hello gie72,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with printing from your computer via a wireless connection.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we can try to solve the problem.

First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

Another step we can try is to go into the Setup Menu and then go to wireless menu. Scroll to the Restore Defaults option and select YES.

Go back to the top of the Menu wireless and make sure that the wireless is turned on.  Then go to the WiFi Protected Setup and connect the printer to the wireless network.

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, please click here: click here.

    Thanks for your time.

  • 6520 inkjet printer all-in-one: printer does not obey orders requested

When I try to change the printer from printing, for example a booklet to print a standard A4 size single sheet it does not obey the request, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software and check the updates for software and drivers with no result.

    Anybopdy can help?

    Hi @Brisey,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you are having problems printing to A4 paper size. I would like to help you today. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" down below in this message. If you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

I have provided a document to check the paper type and size settings of paper in the print driver, Printers HP Photosmart 6520 - Printing Documents (Windows).

If you still encounter problems printing to A4 paper size, change the location settings on the computer to the default paper settings see if that will help.

    • Go to start, Control Panel, language and region.
    • Select the location tab, click the menu down and select the United States.
    • Then, click the Formats tab and click the menu down and select English (United States).

    Restart the computer.

Again, check the paper size settings in the driver printing and the application you are printing from, go to file, Page Setup and select the correct paper size.

You can also install a generic driver, if the problem persists.
On the computer, go to start, devices and printers, select Add a printer. Follow the steps, select HP and Deskjet 9800 in the list. Set it as default printer.

Please let me know the results and if there is anything else I can help you. Thank you.

  • My HP Photosmart C4280 All in one printer does not print

I troubleshoot the printer and it says that there is no problem.

Tried to check ink, does not. Checked with MATS and there is no problem.

is there a problem with these printers?

Here are three books for this specific printer including how istalll it.  I suggest to download and review them to see if you properly follow the process:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&softwareitem=mp-52220-1&os=219&product=3192753&.  If you have any questions as you go along.  There is a lot of reading, but there's everything you need to know to do it right - it's not just a matter of steps, but also to do them in the right order (and there may be steps that you did not because they were not explained properly).  Make sure you have all the software, drivers and firmware necessary and compatible with both your printer AND your version of Vista.  Download and re - install them again just to be sure, didn't you build a time corrupted version first.

If those who do not help, contact HP Technical Support at the: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support_task.html and request their help in istalling the printer and do print and work in all its forms, it should.  They know more about their products that we do.  I'm sure they will be willing and able to help you.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • HP Officejet 7310 all-in-One: printer does not print when connect you to the router

I can't print from a Mac book pro wireless connected to dsl ATT modem/router.  My printer, HP Officejet 7310 is connected to the router with an ethernet cable.  I can print a test page from the laptop and see my supply rate.  When I try to print an e-mail or my word processing, I get my printer icon on the desktop that said it printer, no error message, but printing does nothing.

I use the latest driver from apple, 2.0.4 and I have installed and uninstalled the printer numerous times and I

    Download the software twice.

The HP network configuration page shows the same IP address of the printer, as does the router.

The printer works fine if connected to the laptop.  If I connect the printer to my mac mini, which is also connected to the

router by an ethernet cable, I can print from the laptop.  What is going on?
