I don't know that it's just my fault for not noticing where it is. Is it possible to simply create a list of cookies/data 'safe' so that after browsing many sites I can just 'clear recent history', and do not have my deleted each time too sure cookies? The option exceptions does not, which makes it a bit useless.

You use clear history recent, then you delete all the cookies. Allow exceptions to keep the specific cookies don't work if you set the cookies expires if you close Firefox or delete unwanted cookies in the Cookie Manager.

  • Cookies deleted using delete all Cookies keep coming back

I encounter this problem in the past. It was caused by an AddOn called something like * xg.dll of relevant knowledge. When this module is removed the problem disappeared. But now, it comes back again.

That the opt-out cookies are added by the extension TACO.

You can only if you disable or uninstall TACO.

Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt - Out (TACO): https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/11073

TACO with Abine prevents displaying highly targeted advertisements using the detailed information about your habits of web surfing more of 100 different online advertising networks (including Google, Microsoft and Yahoo). TACO disables most behavioral advertising by setting 100 + permanent, generic and non personally identifiable "opt-out" cookies directly in the browser.

Unlike other opt-out solutions, this tool will make the persistent opt-out cookies completely. In other words, clear the browser cookies will delete all other installed cookies, except them.

  • I tried several ways to delete the cookies listed in options and nothing works to get rid of them.

I tried all methods to remove cookies that are available on your support site. I have tried them if the choice in the Options is for authorized cookies and cookies not allowed. Also with 3rd party cookies allowed and not allowed. Normally, I fixed it to authorized cookies but 3rd cookies of third parties not allowed.
I tried CCleaner, cleaner, cleaner Auglogics Euslings, Wise Cleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, and WinPatrol and remove temporary files in Windows. All that the software deletes the cookies. I also Spyblaster to protect against hundreds of tracking cookies. It was SuperAntiSpyware who brought the problem to my attention in the first place. It just started doing this a few weeks ago but only the past several days I've worked hard to get these deleted cookies. There must be hundreds of them. I managed to remove about 5 or 6 of them, but others did not move. I want to clean up everything to start over and analyze them on a daily basis. I don't want most of them. SuperAntiSpyware claims it deletes them but when I go to Options in the browser, they are still there. SuperAntiSpyware claims that cookies are there whenever I run the program before you shut down the computer.
I just added that convenience store and looked at the information. I'm sorry but I'm not understand anything. I'm not savvy in computer science.

You may have installed an extension that adds the so-called opt-out Firefox cookies.

These opt-out cookies are to be sent instead of the regular cookies and you cannot delete these opt-out cookies unless you disable or uninstall the extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
  • Delete the Cookies of Session Firefox

Before the last two days (maybe before the recent update FF26), at the end, Firefox would remove all cookies except those related to the tabs I had open at the time. When the reopening of Firefox, my session would be restored, and my connections to different sites would remain active.

Recently, this behavior seems to have changed. Despite browser.sessionstore.privacy_level set to 0 and browser.startup.page being fixed at 3, Firefox guard clear cookies for my session. My story settings remain unchanged compared to what they were before I had the problem. I have Firefox set to accept cookies, always accept cookies from third parties and keep them until I close Firefox. Under 'Clear history of Firefox closing', I've checked everything except "Browing & download history". If I change "Keep until" to "they expire" and uncheck the cookies in the settings to erase history, he will keep my session cookies, but it will also keep cookies for websites not in my session. I haven't installed add-ons recently, and in vain I tried all combinations of history settings in an attempt to achieve the previous behavior, before this issue was raised.

Curiously, Firefox seems to only remove a few cookies. For example, he remembers my username in Google, but not the password or the fact that I was connected. She remembers the connection for this forum and allows me to stay connected completely. Jolt, it seems to delete all cookies, sign out me completely.

    I use Firefox on Windows 7 64 bit 26.

    Thanks for any help.

Everyone's needs are different, but my strategy is to "session only" by default for all cookies and then NOT clear cookies at the stop. There are a few sites where I want to stay connected, so I create exceptions for these sites, allowing them to create persistent cookies. You cannot create exceptions, so it should be a fairly simple solution for you.

    (1) life expectancy set session-only cookie

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > privacy

The value "keep until: I close Firefox".

    (2) do not delete cookies at the stop

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > privacy > button "settings".

  • LinkedIn does not load on Firefox or safari-deleted the cookies, history, mac restarted, what to do next?

I was able to access LinkedIn yesterday. Today the Linked In says "connecting" (she revolves) of Safari or Firefox (mac computer with current operating system). I am able to access the Linked In to my iphone. I deleted the cookies, cache, history, rebooted. I'm not having a problem loading of all other sites. Next steps?

Problem solved... changed the MTU setting of 1500 to 1280... don't know what this means, but I found this solution by doing google searches. I hope that my system is not jump!

  • our and twitch.tv do load properly (no content displayed) deleted the cookies/cache, nodnsprefetch, no proxy, safe mode, did not help!

our and twitch.tv do load properly (no content displayed) deleted the cookies/cache, nodnsprefetch = true, ensured that no proxy, safe mode, did not help!
The approximate layout works very well, but the real tv-content (contraction) or the real message (ggroups) texts will not be displayed. Also, by clicking on the wheel of preferences in ggroups will display a small empty box instead of a drop-down list filled with stuff.
The pages all work properly in chrome.

Note that youtube and google search normal, pages provider freemail, news pages and basically all the other pages I can think of work normally and 100%!

I use linux 64-bit, firefox 22. However, this problem is not new, it's happened with older versions of ff too. I'm just tired of pulling up chrome every time, so I decided to report it here for a solution.

Well, after you move a large number of files and the contents of the file autour, I found a solution:

    Delete the line
    user_pref ("dom.storage.enabled", false);
    of prefs.js solved the problem.

    Thank you.

  • I delete all cookies. Irepeat tools/options/life private / show cookies. they all return

I click on tools/options/privacy / show cookies. I delete all cookies and click on OK.
I repeat the process to display the cookies. They're all here.
Also I can not delete single cookies

You may have installed an extension like TACO (Abine) or do not Track Plus that manages a set of OPT-OUT cookies if you can't delete cookies permanently.

In this case, you will need to uninstall the extension to remove the opt-out cookies.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

If clearing cookies doesn't work, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other files to present as cookie cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  • I had installed a new driver and then downloaded Firefox 7. It has more than 100 witnesses in the download. Delete cookies in the browser do not help since then is in the download. How can I permanently deletes these cookies? Thank you.

Since it's in the download, I'm unable to permanently delete these (more than 100) cookies and they continue to reproduce whenever I open the browser. Sometimes cookies will not delete when I try to delete the cookie "only" and I have to remove "all". I used Firefox as my browser for years, but this never happened.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    -> Basic - a new profile troubleshooting

IF this new profile works, then you can retrieve your bookmarks and passwords the old profile.

-> Recovery of data from an old profile

Check and tell if its working.

  • How delete a wrong password that Firefox always displays; I tried to delete the cookies and the profile, but it does not help.

Firefox allows the filling of forms (for example webmail inlog) but it also shows a bad login (consisting of the login name and password). I want to delete inlog false names to Firefox. I already tried to delete all cookies from this site and deleted the default profile for my Mac applications folder. But still login to webmail options are given. Where can I find the place where are stored the inlog suggestions?

You cannot delete an entry in the dropdown menu with the mouse.

You can do this only with the keyboard.

You can delete passwords in the password manager

  • Someone can help me when closed Firefox randomly it deletes all cookies and cache, and I'm not able to restore the lost tabs...?

For some time now, Firefox stopped randomly for unknown reasons. Sometimes, windows reports the error, but not always. When I launch Firefox upward once again, it does not restore my tabs. Also as a bonus, it deletes the cookies and cache, and I don't know why. In addition, this event became more frequent. Just in the last hour along before writing this complaint, Firefox crashed three times that I have change user, but not every time I went. I'm a taboholic, addicted to the tabs, sometimes 70 +, and it's the final straw. This frequency became more important a few days ago. When it crashed first, Windows has had enough let me know the error first one or two weeks ago. It has become the scourge of my internet browsing very.
