Prevent the swf without envelope opening html

Do you know how to force a html wrapper to open the swf file?

I mean, the swf would be able to detect if a wrapper html loaded, or if someone has entered the path of the swf in the browser url entry.

I was surprised to see ExternalInterface.available = true when you load the SWF directly in the browser.

There is no difference in the loaderInfo swf, when load you html code or directly.

Try to check this.loaderInfo.loaderURL and see if the SWF is the file loaded, if necessary perform a navigateToURL() to another location.

Speaking of ExternalInterface, you can even use it to get the URL via JS as well because it is activated:

to import flash.external.ExternalInterface;

var pageURL:String = ExternalInterface.call("saveglobalscore",score) ('window.location.href.toString');

  • How prevent the buffering without end after reading?

    I use the reader Strobe Media Playback.

    The video works fine on iOS and desktop computers, (I'm very happy), but I see an anomaly after the end of the reading.

    When the video has finished playing, it starts buffering, or at least display "buffering...". "Animation appears (see image below).

    This only happens when you view the desktop versions of the videos.  When I saw on an iPhone, the Buffering... message does not appear.

    How we prevent "buffering...". "appearing after the end of a video playing?  It gives the impression that something is broken, or more video is about to play.

    BufferingMessage.png

    Here is the html code I use to post a link to the .swf Strobe Media Playback:

    ! - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx FLASH/ANDROID VERSION xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx->

    < script type = "text/javascript" src = "swfobject.js" > < / script >

    < script type = "text/javascript" >

    var flashvars = {};

    var params = {};

    params.allowFullScreen = "true";

    attributes of var = {};

    swfobject.embedSWF ("http://myFMS.scoe.net/videoPlayer/swfs/StrobeMediaPlayback.swf?src=http://myFMS.scoe.net/v od/myProject/myVideo_manifest.f4m", "myAlternativeContent", "325", "247", "10.1.0", "expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

    < /script >

    It is a bug. I could fix it using the patch below.

  • Prevent the SWF from caching?

    Hello.

    I have a problem here, I searched on google and through forums for hours now trying to find a way to prevent my site from the cache in browsers. I know it is not possible to 'prevent' caching, but it is a way to trick the browser into thinking it must load the SWF file rather than simply get one cache.

    Now, I tried many types, but I can't make it work. I do not understand how to implement it in AS or Javascript and what goes where...

    My site is set up by a parent THAT SWF combined with an HTML script and 6 children of the SWF file, and they update all the time so I really need this feature.

    See here: http://www.vgn.no

    The most used is what I think or something close:

    myIdentifier = Math.round (Math.random () * 10000);
    loadMovie("myAnim.swf?uniq="+myIdentifier,1)
    ;

    If anyone knows a better please say.

    But how to use it? Can someone explain please where he's going and he will work on several child sovereign funds?

    Thanks in advance.

    for the swf file, add a changing query string, as you showed in a previous message.

  • force the .swf bound to open in flash player

    I have two files that I would play in order. both have a preloader flash attached to them. the captivate file is published, then external linked to a file in flash 8 with a preloader in there. the first film opens in flash player, but when he jumps with the second (linked) file, it opens in firefox. files are linked using captivate 2 option in the preferences to export box. I looked into the component xp and flash player file type 8 is specified as the default player for .swf files.

    Thank you
    John

    I hope this isn't a total loss of all time, it seems to have found the answer! Although you can specify what types of files are opened by applications under xp, firefox seems to override these settings. If you change the preferences text file in firefox (in this case), it is finally open in flash player.

  • How can I prevent the bookmarks bar to open at startup?

    I already have the bookmarks bar unchecked under options, but it always opens automatically when I first start Firefox? Is there a way to stop this? Thank you.

    Hey Copenhagen,.

    Are you talking about the bookmarks toolbar? The one along the top of the screen? The checkmark comes bock when you restart Firefox?

    Whatever it is, you should take a look at article in the Knowledge Base How to repair preferences that will not save . It may be that Firefox has struggle to write in the pref.js file.

    If this does not work, you can also try to create a new profile.

    Hope this helps!

  • Prevent the HP ePrint to open a document

    I have a HP Slate 7 with HP ePrint preinstalled (version 2.2.1).

    In many situations where I want to open an Office document or a Pdf file (download, SkyDrive) ePrint application intercepts the request and offers to print the document. This is not what I want.

    I have no printer configured in ePrint and I need to print all the documents at this time.

    Is there a setting to change this behavior?

    Thank you

    Sytze

    Hello Sytze, welcome to the HP support community!

    You have applications installed on the device which can read MS Office and PDF files?

    If not, it's why ePrint is commissioning of the call.  There are many applications available for download in the store play for the visualization of these two types of files.

  • How to prevent the add-on of opening the bar whenever I open FF?

    I have to manually close the add-on bar, every time I open FF and it's getting a little embarrassing. Are there not memory in the toolbar display settings?

    This does not happen with any add-on, I have quite a few Add-ons and add-on bar never shows up. There will probably be only a small number of Add-ons which causes this.

  • questions to open the .swf files

    At the opening of the .swf files I open or save as options. I tried all the fixes I could find nothing help. I even tried reinstalling the flash player program. I can read the files from the site, but after downloading, I can no longer read the files from my desktop without having to open it or save as options as it tries to re - download the same file. This repeats non-stop. I checked the options in tools but I can't seem to change or reset things to the .swf files. One of the options for the target of shockwave flash file, which I installed it, but the other says always ask. I can't change to firefox, if I set it to IE he repeats the open or save as options as it does in firefox. I can't locate any program to open the file in firefox.

    Before the last update that I use to just be able to click on a .swf file and it will open in firefox without problem. I don't know what has changed in the last update, but now I can't open the .swf files unless I do it from the site, I downloaded the file from.

    Try to rename (or delete) the file mimeTypes.rdf in the profile folder of Firefox to reset all the actions file.

  • Prevent or stop the attack without signature or signature disabled

    Hi IPS Expert,.

    Our IPS is always set as based signature and anomaly detection is not enabled.

    Is there a guideline that you can recommend to stop/prevent the attack without signature or signature is disabled.

    I understand that if the signature is not enabled, it will also create event or alert.

    This means that we will not have any idea when to stop.

    Kind regards

    Jhun

    Jhun-

    There are several reasons for which a signature can be disabled by default, but usually they are not active for a good reason.

    Signatures have a natural life span, they are created, tuned to detect variants of the vulnerability / initial attack. Later in their lives, once that vulnerability has been mostly fixed or patched, they can be disabled. Once they become rather old to have little use for all they retired.

    Other reasons a signature can be disabled, but that signature translates into a high rate of false positives. If you have someone perform analysis on the events that generates your IPS, you will waste their time and their talent with no productive events. It is the most common reason that a signature is disabled in an active sensor.

    The last reason, maybe you want a signature (or a family of signatures) disabled, it is that they do not violate security policy you. If your organization allows peer-to-peer file sharing they that you wouldn't need signatures to stop this activity.

  • Question about the size of the swf

    Hi all, I had a small question. I have some old .swf files that I made a long time ago, but I do not have the .flas. I have trouble finding the size (height and width) of these files. I want to use the swfobject to embed, is there a way to find out just how big, or is it possible to use swfobject without declaring a size?

    Thanks for any advice.

    If you double-click the SWF file to open it, it should open in the Flash Player to its actual size.  SO, you should be able to get a screenshot of it and then determine the size of the crop of this screenshot.

  • How to stop the next email to open automatically when I delete email open current?

    If I have an open e-mail and I use the button Delete, the next email automatically opens. Is there a setting I can change to stop this?

    I guess you are talking about the Windows Mail program, and that you opened the message in its own window by double-clicking on it. If so, the only way to prevent the next message to open automatically when is to delete the current message to close the current message and then delete it from the message list pane.

  • How to remove the incoming without opening mail

    I received several false e.mails with him come from various banks which I have no connection. I would like to remove these without opening, but to delete it seems that you first need to open them. Any contributions to this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I think you're too disturbing. TB run scripts in messages, so unless you click on anything, it may not launch content secret. You could cut HTMl to prevent the webbugs.

    You should find that right-click then delete will do the job.

  • Open the .swf file

    I have an email with an attachment that was sent to me in the .swf (shockwave flash) format. When I click to open it, it does not automatically start playing, I have download and choose IE or wmv player to open. I tried free file converters, but none works. I send this email to about 30 other people I work with and I wish they could just click on the attachment in the email and it pull up without having them to choose program to open it with. All employees, including me use Windows XP SP3 and IE 8. I tried opening in different browsers and on a windows machine 7. Adobe flash player is installed on every PC, so what else can be done. I don't think that I had to open a .swf file before.

    Can someone explain to me .swf and what a resolution can be?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    Shockwave Flash (SWF) is a file format Adobe Flash used for multimedia, graphics vector and ActionScript. SWF files can be generated from several Adobe products: Flash, Flash Builder (IDE) and After Effects, as well as through MXMLC.

    You can open the file flash shock wave using Adobe flash player or Adobe Shockwave Player.

    You can view the links to download Adobe Shock Wave Player and Flash Player.

    Have you tried to add the address to the list of exceptions FF popup blocker?

    Paste (without the quotes) "subject: preferences #content" in the url bar and press ENTER
    Click on the "Exceptions" button... »
    type/paste the address of the page, click on leave and then save the changes.

    reload the page

    pop-up windows should not be blocked on the page that you have added to the exceptions list.

    Hello, I followed your advice, and now the site could be opened.
