• Vista Service Pack 2 mess up Desktop theme?

  I installed Vista SP2 (this is a 32-bit version on a computer laptop Dell xps) yesterday and my desktop theme now looks like a bad version of the pixelated in windows classic.  The Start button is square, the taskbar are gray, and no matter what the Explorer window I open has a clear and white background.  The Panel on a white background looks terrible.

  I tried to go to the "change theme" option in the Control Panel, I know that the I have the choice between "classic windows" and "my theme updated the.  They both have exactly the same, and honestly, they seem pretty bad.  The 'Windows Vista' theme option disappeared!

  Uninstall the service pack has not helped at all.  Is that what my office messed up forever?

  I just upgraded one of my computers from Windows 7 to Windows 8. E-mail address after the upgrade of Windows 8, I logged in with my Hotmail. After doing that it seems that Windows sync my desktop theme, Favorites and search engine of my other laptop.

  I expected a clean install. I wanted to start from scratch with this computer.

  Y at - it anyway to disable the function of wells between computers.

  The other computer I have Windows 8 running is infected by malicious software and the browser is hijacked. It seems that the browser hijacking had been reduced to my new computer during synchronization. Both computers are now almost unusable.

  If I reinstall Windows 8 is possible to turn off synchronization so that it will not happen again.

  Regarding the answer to your other question (How to use the functions Timestampadd/Timestampdiff in the repository Variables) you don't need to use timestampadd / timestampdiff for a block init but real SQL, to verify the features in charge of your database.

  I created a form with 5 blocks (namely ENQACMHDR, ENQACMDTL, ENQACEHDR, ENQACEDTL, ENQACSPEC), where I have 8 push buttons (namely ENTER_QUERY, EXEC_QUERY, CLEAR, FIRST, NEXT, PREVIOUS, LAST, and EXIT).

  This form is created just for display purposes only. So after that I ran, all blocks have been blocked against insert and update.

  I have question on 2 fields 'ENQNO' and "RATNG" (both belong to the ENQACMDTL block).

  When I click on "EXEC_QUERY" directly, all data for all years fills.

  But the user wanted the data to be populated only this year and the previous year.

  Yes, on ' Clause WHERE' of the property_palette of the 'ENQACMDTL' block , I put in the following condition:

  SUBSTR (ENQACMDTL. ENQNO, 1, 4) = TO_CHAR (ADD_MONTHS (SYSDATE,-12), 'YYYY') OR SUBSTR (ENQACMDTL. ENQNO, 1, 4) = TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'YYYY')

  	PROPERTY PALETTE (ENQACMDTL block)
  WHERE Clause	SUBSTR (ENQACMDTL. ENQNO, 1, 4) = TO_CHAR (ADD_MONTHS (SYSDATE,-12), 'YYYY') OR SUBSTR (ENQACMDTL. ENQNO, 1, 4) = TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'YYYY')

  
  

  Data only this year and the year before are now filled. Its ok with the field of "ENQNO".

  The problem is when I have queries on the field "RATNG. 'RATNG' is a Text_item with number of displayed items = 5. (5 lines)

  So, when I have queries on the field "RATNG."

  Example: for RATNG = 500KC2;

  I click on ENTER_QUERY, the field of "RATNG", I put in the 500KC2 of the value and click on EXEC_QUERY; Details regarding the 500KC2 is displayed as well as all the other junk RATNG as 750KC6, 1000KC2 (which belongs to the ENQNO of the current year and previous year) also gets displayed.

  I want details of only RATNG (500KC2) to display, but only for the current year and the previous year, it is 2013900054, 2012520109 (ENQNO).

  Other than 500KC2 RATNG, no other RATNG must be displayed.
  

  500KC2 = RATNG is also present for ENQNO = 2011540036, 2006900072. But I don't want them to view.

  I want only the data or details of the current year and the previous year to be filled or displayed for the given RATNG.

  Can you help me or tell me what I do for this?

  1. check null values in the enqacmdtl.enqno, if so treat them properly.

  2. check the result of select to_char (add_months (sysdate,-12), 'YYYY') prev_year curr_year of double to_char(sysdate,'YYYY')

  3. change the place where clause "year" in the value of numAriques.

  where to_number (substr (enqacmdtl.enqno, 1, 4)) > = to_number (to_char (add_months (sysdate,-12), 'YYYY'))

  Then let me know the result.

  My machine (Dell Desk Top computer) came with everything that I bought with it and I don't have the disc of recovery as well, so, I was just wondering if you can please tell me if there is a way I can save the screen savers and the desktop themes (sets) that accompanies as some of them , or just for nice in the trash when I use the recovery disc (not the one that came with it that I purchased separately from Dell), because they will be gone forever when I do. I don't want to lose them, after that I'm doing the recovery.   OK, first of all visit C:\WINDOWS\Resources you will see a Themes folder, you should be able to right click on this folder, select copy and paste it on your desktop. It's your saved themes.

  Alternatively, you can try to find your screensavers by name in the search box. Screensavers in Windows normally have *.scr for if you find everything with different extensions these back up. Some screensavers have .exe extension, but this is a very common extension in Windows so you find your screensavers in between it will be hard. SceenSavers may extend installation directories, but normally you can right click and click 'Install' on screensavers to reinstall on a new operating system.

  When you find all your .bmp / .jpg Yes circles, you can just click on them and copy and paste them.

  Just take note where you have saved, so you can re-install on a reinstall.

• My custom & sounds model desktop theme get screwed up everytime I reboot

  WinXP Pro, SP3.  I deleted all the files, index.dat... including those in system32 & profile system.  I use a classic desktop theme.  Whenever I have restart now, it's a cross between classic & Office XP.  I also lose my sound scheme.  I right click on desktop, choose Properties/themes.  Next, I need to change a theme, I want & then change it back.  I must also go to the configuration/sound Panel & return to my sound scheme.  Of course, I screwed up.

  I've already restored a full backup that occurred before I messed up, but that did not help.  What can I do to fix this?

  Thank you, Slim.  It didn't work, but it has led me to the correct answer.  I already had my computer configured for optimal performance.  It seems that my desktop theme is not fully restored when I reboot.  I just saved my correct parameters with a new theme & now Windows will start to that.

  I bought the Microsoft Desktop, keyboard and Bluetooth mouse package designer.

  Despite the guidelines in the Microsoft Help options 1, 2 and 3 of the section has failed.

  I am convinced that it is a driver compatibility problem because the same steps failed on my Dell Latitude E7240, running Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit, as they did on my Asus EEEPc 1215 running windows 10.

  Both devices connect and work perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone Tablet and my Apple iPhone 6.

  I saw the lame answers in a lot of posts here, which none offer any explanation of why this product does not connect to Microsoft machines but works great on Microsoft products not?

  I can't remove my generic Bluetooth driver, he re - installs automatically when Windows restarts.

  Please advise a solution, or a refund of the cost of the product.

  I use the calendar like a diary & have details since 2005.  How can I delete the previous years?

  I spent some time looking through my calendar and could not find any / option to remove entries and nominations a year whole. My suggestion is to make sure to constantly update your calendar as things happen in this way you will not have to remove one events. I may be wrong and that there could be a special/hidden setting I don't know about point delete the entries a year.
