  I just recently became a new owner of a T61 and really enjoy. I did have a chance yet to test the hotline of lenovo, as I've not yet screwed anything up if badly needing their help. I tried a factory clean reinstall from the service partition and it worked fine. I would like to know, how one uses it the rescue and the recovery boot disk and the recovery disks of the product I created myself? From my previous experience with Dell and HP, I didn't insert the one and restart the computer, and the rest followed. But the ThinkPads, if I ever wanted to bring a State own factory using these disks, can I use with rescue and recovery first, followed by the recovery of product? I'm curious, what is the difference between the two?

  1. Place the rescue and recovery disc in the drive, and then restart.  This disc contains the same program that you used when you restored your system from the service partition.  Once the program is loaded, you will see the same screen with the same options as before.
  2. Choose to restore your system as you did with the service partition.  You will not see an option to do a custom restore.  When the program is run from the disk, it automatically performs a full restore.
  3. The program will rebuild the service partition and copy the program files on him.  When you are prompted, insert the product recovery disks.  The compressed system and application files contained on these discs will be copied to the new service partition.  Once the copy process is completed, your system will be restored from the service partition.
  4. After restoration, you will be able to make a new set of recovery discs if you wish.  You will also be able to do a restore custom through the service partition.

• Adobe CS5 uninstall - reinstall on the same computer without using the last instructions of activation code?

  I'm on a MacBook Pro with OS X Yosemite.  Computer has been completely cleaned, stored, updated, no problem other than my Adobe CS5 software will not work.  Photoshop, if I'm lucky that it will download, but a few minutes of the crash using.  InDesign won't open at all.  Illustrator, does not open.  Flash, none open - help from Adobe will not update because it says a file is corrupted etc etc etc etc.  I have my original disks with serial numbers to reinstall the software.  All I want to know is how to properly uninstall all the software on my computer and reinstall on the same computer without using my second activation code.  I can't seem to find clear, concise, simple instructions for this process.  "Disable" something before I have uninstall?  Where should I go for it?  What should I do once I have disabled everything I'm supposed to deactivate and uninstall the software, then reinstall?  I must return to some site to reactivate whatever it is I'm reactive?  I don't want to use my second activation code.  That's all.  Why customer comes from say the quick simple solution by phone beggars belief.  Yes.  I am quite aware that it is old software.  But it's your Adobe software.  Support me.  Because when you do not have, I have to post negative passive-aggressive messages like that on a forum online so that everyone can see.  I'm sure that you have all of the embarrassment of opportunity as you read this.  But I just want to assure that I do what I'm supposed to do without screwing anything other than it already is.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Uninstall using the own uninstaller from adobe by the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems, restart your computer and reinstall.

• Smart txt reflow - how do you work with several text boxes?

  I create ID cards to work, for 650 employees. I had used the reflow of text before smart on other jobs and I don't foresee any problems with its use for this project. To explain my problem:

  I'm doing a template with a trial of ten employees file. The design on each card, it is a name and a unique ID to be used. The name is 18pt and code 10pt.

  On my main page, I have a block of text for the name and a text block for the employee ID. The text blocks are as wide as the work plan but only high enough to adapt to a single name by image to the relevant point size.

  On the first page of my document, I select 'place' and then select the text file with all the names, I get the change of cursor in the image of the text, I hold SHIFT for the debit option and click on my name text box. InDesign automatically creates 9 new pages, and I now have a 10 page document. So far, perfect.

  I select "place" again, choose the employee code text file, click on my block of text in code used on the first page, and repeat the same process as above.

  My problem starts - I want codes for the employee to just flow through ten pages, as the names, but when I place the codes file and select the text on the first page, inDesign creates 10 new pages after the tenth page. So I find myself with 20 pages - the first ten pages with names and nothing in the code text boxes and the last ten pages with the codes but nothing in the name text boxes.

  I am at a loss as to why he does this. I was playing with the settings in the preferences, but nothing changes. I tried to select both the two text files and import at the same time.

  How do you work with several text boxes and several import of text file on a doicument? There are no extra spaces or something like that in my text files.

  I really don't want to have to link all text blocks - that will forever, but right now it's the only way I can get it to do what I want.

  Also, is there anyway to specify the font and the size of the text is important as? Because it keeps import as minion pro, even if the text boxes on the master are set to the correct font and size. Not a big deal though.

  Ah, I think I misunderstood your original post and thought you wanted to do 10 badges per page. If it's only one, you need only a set of images. Same procedure for setting in place, but you have no need to screw anything or use the step and repaet to make copies.

  Place the file name in the frames of name and ID will add pages and then return to the first page and place the numbers. Just don't forget to put the bad slider in the space where the framework and to stay away from the guides (if you click on a guide, ID will ignore masters executives) and hold down the SHIFT key when you click.

  The Professional suite of DPS is a price American on page of Adobe with a $495 /month.

  On the German page, it is €436,65, say nothing "per month." I very deeply, very much hope the $495 / month is just a mistake, because it would be $5 940 per year (!) for a tool that does not ncecessarily brings money to a company.

  Interesting. So a company wishing to use Indesign to publish folios via an application needs to invest > $ 500 per month just to be able to use the software and in case they don't sell anything, not will not make a cent from it? Isn't it ridiculous?

  That would make it the costliest DPS software adobe ever created.

  I guess, other companies can use different ways to create and to publish their free applications and information in catalogues or similar form.

• Pricing issues and General DPS

  Hi all

  The company that I work out a professional license to Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, a few years ago and we are still paying the monthly subscription.

  We have never actually published folios that applications Apple or Android, instead, most of our folios is just shared with our customers through the Adobe Content Viewer.

  Is it necessary for us to pay for a professional for this license? His I understand the tax pro subs is to pay for packages of accomplishment for Adobe downloads.

  We have also a few accounts team cc to Adobe, which also allow us to download on the folios of dashboard and share DPS through the content viewer.
  so I think that he shouldn't pay for a professional account, if we share only folios via the Adobe Content Viewer application.

  This may seem basic stuff, but its pretty hard to find info on the DPS on the Adobe site. Also the person who set up the initial pro account is no longer with our company.

  You should be aware that there is no assurance that folio workflows will be again supported with AEM Mobile replacing DPS a lot more long in any case.

  Hi there, we will publish a weekly digital magazine for the Apple/Android devices. We expect around 8 - 10,000 downloads of our application. But we are a little confused about the pricing by download. We pay every time someone downloads the app or whenever someone downloads one of our weekly problems?

• I lost my phone and when I got my new one I downloaded my photos on the cloud. My storage is still listing my old phone do I delete just and doesn't affect anything else?

  I lost my Iphone and buy a new. I uploaded my photos to the cloud. When I look at my storage it still shows the old phone. Can I just remove and not screw up anything else?

• Screw stripped - Toshiba Satellite click Mini L9W - B

  Just noticed that the Mini replacement click on I received from Amazon has stripped the screw on the keyboard dock. I wondered why there were two joints of Toshiba, looks like it is opened at the factory (perhaps in conjunction with the battery problems with this model) and they used the screwdriver to the right size. Is anyone from Toshiba can confirm that my unit is still covered by the warranty? Otherwise it will go back to Amazon... again...

  If you have a camera in box original and discovered that something can be change my advice is to send the machine back.

• Where to buy the Satellite A215 F8 screws?

  I recently bought a Satellite used to see that was missing a handful of screws on the plastic piece at the bottom when I'm at home.

  These missing screws cause the laptop screen to have some freedom of movement, and overall decreases the attractiveness of the laptop.
  I'm wanting to sell it now and I would like to replace the screws for the next customer is not disappointed in anything on this subject, but I do not know where to buy the F8 screws.
  If anyone can help, that would be great.

  I never bought screws for my laptop, but have you tried to contact an authorized service provider?
  If it of possible the screw to order for a laptop of the ASP should be able to do this.

• Screw loose on Satellite P50W

  Hello

  I recently purchased a P50W (4 weeks ago) and found a screw had fallen and some other screws on the bottom of the unit have become loose, has anyone found they had this problem?

  I just shook them for now, but I'm intrigued to see if it is normal that I take my camera to work and back every day and use it anywhere in the Home Office/bed and the living room.

  I think you're the first person who has reported on this. I hope that some other owners P50W will post experiences with this model of laptop.

  Anyway, if you notice a few similar or any other problems I recommend to contact the closest service Toshiba and ask for help or advice. I hope they can help you with this and you lack live give.

  Usually if the screws are fixed properly it must avoid any problems in the future. I had several laptops in the last 15 years and I've never noticed anything like that.

• Find + replace text (string constant) does not work for screw Statechart module

  I tried to do a mass find + replace a string in my code. Using Ctrl + F, LabVIEW 2012 correctly locates all the places where this string exists, including within the States transitions guards who have paths in this form:

  XYZ.lvsciagram.vi / Transition: Guard - diagram, Transition, data/part

  However, when I've specified that a replacement string, then click on 'Replace all', only 'normal' instances of screws replaced - instances in my diagrams had not changed.

  What is going on? Is there anything else I need to do?

  Looks like those that does not include how to find and replace is implemented in LabVIEW. You can try to replace just the statechart and see if that makes a difference, but it may simply not work.

• Storage of Information within the screw

  I have an interesting problem...

  I have a VI that controls a subsystem. It has about 80 entries, when he used the subsystem with these entries programs. Entries are not homogeneous, they are information configuration and each means something different. This VI allows interactively and as part of a larger system. Since it has many entries I used clusters of group related entries.

  As far as I can say LabVIEW applies the following scope rules when SubVIs are involved:

  Controls that are wired to the login Panel

  When a top-level VI calls a Subvi if highest level VI son an entry then the Sub - VI receives this value. If the VI more high-level wiring is not an entry, then the default value is used.

  Controls that are not wired for the login Panel

  When a VI is loaded into memory front panel is loaded with the default values, even if the VI is not visible. LabVIEW retains the values defined by the last use of the VI. It goes the same for registry entries to offset unwired.

  The behavior of controls unwired is useful because it allows information to be stored, it allos "masking of information." In my application I can open the VI subsystem described above in an interactive way and set up some values. Screw top level then call that VI as usual. These screws of higher level need not know anything about the settings I changed. Where I work, this idea is used in the code for many years. It is similar to the "functional global variables" using terminals unwired-shift register.

  Once a control should be wired to the component connector however everything changes, a value may not persist a use of the VI to the other.  This is true even if the connector pane entry is left connected because otherwise LabVIEW use it * default value * not the existing value. Thus, all controls dealing with things my subsystem-specific low-level can be left unwired. Then all controls dealing with things higher level that allows to control the higher level screw must be wired and the highest level VI must assume responsibility for this information. Previous versions of the system that I mention did.

  The problem with this plan is that the clusters.  A cluster is either on a connector component or not, I can find no way to put a cluster on the connector pane entries but not others. Since I have so many entries, I need bunches. But, once I attribute a cluster to the connector pane the top-level screws must take responsibility for all its values. This means that I lose all the concealment of information that I had before and my code becomes much more complicated.

  Someone at - he found a solution to this kind of problem?

• Could not find user.lib screws

  Hi there and thank you in advance for any response.

  I'll take a semi-manufactured project for an outside contractor in India who did some LabVIEW Development. Everything was left on a desktop computer. The computer has an executable and a screw with a LabVIEW project file. Executables seem to work but LabVIEW 2011 is not installed, so I can't watch the EIS. I copy and paste all of the LabVIEW live in my laptop and open the LabVIEW (.lvlps) project file. I try to open the high level VI and it tells me it cannot locate three specific screws so I looked in the error to see if I could get more information and found that these 3 screws located under the user.lib folder. I have search the whole computer these screws and the file user.lib but did not find anything. It seems to me that the user.lib folder is created when the LabVIEW development system is installed on a computer. If I install LabVIEW on this desk, it will help me to get these screws or they are lost forever?

• Executable with dynamic screws

  I'm having a hard time finding the field ALWAYS INCLUDE in the FILE SOURCE section of the BUILD properties in my notebook of the BUILDING EXPENSES.

  My application uses 'plug-ins '.  Configure you a channel (in my editor) as a channel of plug-in, you give it a name 'X '.

  Code search "X.vi" in a certain folder, runs once to check if it exists to understand its preconditions and is preparing to launch for real.

  These plugins do things like calculate a channel to power a speed and torque channel or things involving chemistry.  Basically, they are false channels, but the user can treat as real channels by adding alarms, graphics live, etc..

  These plugins use some subVIs and control typedefs (ENUMS, for the most part) who are in the main program.

  It all works very well in the development system.

  If I build the app, my config app alongside main library of the VI file and the executable works fine.

  However, if I move the APP (and supported with plugins files) to a different place (without the main source code), I struggle.

  More specifically, when I do a channel ASSETS (and therefore try to dynamically load), I sometimes get an error 1003, which means the VI is not executable (broken).

  When I press the switch ACTIVE, I can see the LOADING dialog box appear just a tenth of a second or so. If I keep trying, I can possibly read the name of the VI he needs (some slot - VI, or control, used by the VI I'm loading).

  If I change the build specification to include this control in the project, it won't change anything.  I don't expect really, since the main VI already knows he needs of this particular control (in many places besides than the plug-in).

  However, if I add this control to the list ALWAYS INCLUDE, then things work very well.

  The question is: WHY?

  I can assure you that this control is in the EXE file. It is used in many places (including the editor who removed the plugins).  I just did a search and found 807 instances of it.

  ALWAYS INCLUDE help says "specified the screw dynamic files technical support always to include in the application, even if starting screw contain no references to the files".

  I just confirmed that if I remove it from the list COMPORTENT ALWAYS, it fails; If I re-add, it succeeds.

  Maybe it has to do with the railways - in the case of development, I have:

  Root\Main.llb\Main.VI {main VI}

  Root\Libraries\Units.llb\Units.CTL {the control in question}

  Root\User\Plugins\Whatever.VI {a plugin that uses}

  When I build the app, it goes in the root:

  Root\Main.exe

  and everything else is the same.

  I propose the app in a test bench:

  Root\Testbed\Main.exe {program principal}

  Root\Testbed\User\Plugins\Whatever.VI {a plugin}

  and it is where the error occurs.

  The questions are:

  1... why this is happening?

  2... What are the rules I have to follow to make it happen again?

  I won't just dump stuff in the bucket to ALWAYS INCLUDE until I understand what is what.
