I tried to ping, but whenever he comes back 'cannot find host', Ive also tried the windows network diagnostics that he told me that I am connected from pc to the router, but no internet that can also read "the following policy might need adjustment to allow windows to connect.
policy provider
FilterName:symnetdrv filter firewall OUTBOUND TRANSPORT V4
I had norton 360, but it is now expired, so I just windows Defender. As you can probably guess I am pretty stuck for what to do then so I hope someone out there can shed some light, I thank you in advance.

Hello

Uninstall the antivirus software completely following the instructions on the site of Norton on how to uninstall completely and it should deal with the issue.

It comes to my Windows Home Server 2011 and I can't have my Web home page, or any page on my server, to display.  I get the message error #404 and what I tried to give me the same results.  I tried directly from the desktop to servers, other computers on my local network and via the internet from my work.  The only indication I've seen a problem is that when I click on the "connection problem Fix", I get the message 'site Web (www.rkwco.com) is online but does not respond to attempts to login.' message.

This isn't someone else's system, it's mine.  It was working before and I'm not sure what I did to get it to stop.  If I can understand what is causing the problem, I know that I can understand what to do to fix.  So far all my research for troubleshooting help keep pointing the browser to the corrections, but I am sure that I have eliminated that as a possibility with the locations of various clients and access methods.  One last piece of info, is that if I try to TELNET using port 80, I just get the message that it cannot open port 80.  Which was making me look in the direction of the firewall settings but I don't know what to look for in there.  Suggestions on what/how to test your access to this web server?

  • "" DNS server to error message "does not.

Original title: has no Internet connection

I had used my nokia phone as a modem with success for a few days. Subsequently, rather than connecting, I started getting a message saying that the DNS server does not. When I put in a different SIM from the same phone company, I am connected. Help, please.

    Hello Stephen,

We get the DNS server does not no error for the following reasons

a: The server that hosts the site may be temporarily down for technical reasons

b: The DNS service in your computer is damaged or does not

c: Firewall security or security software itself could have inadvertently blocked your PC to communicate with a Web site or some Web sites

Clearing the cache of DNS (domain name system), forces DNS to query a DNS server rather than using the information stored in the cache. You can clear the DNS cache on changes to the websites that you manage, or if you receive repeated errors when you know that you type an address is correct.

Empty the DNS and check if it helps to rectify the problem.

    a: Click the Start button

b: In the search box, type command prompt.

c: In the list of results, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

d: At the command prompt, type ipconfig/flushdns hit then enter.

Answer please if you have any questions.

  • "Tuberculosis already running but does not. This happens whenever I have try to restart TB after closing! It can be corrected?

It was a rare event, but now whenever I close TB and shortly after, during the same session, I try to restart tb that I call task Mgr and kill thunderbird.exe. It's a gene that I'd like to get rid of. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    SOLVED!
After trying - in vain! -Suggestions of Christ1 and the sfhowes, which I am grateful to them, I have set out to solve the problem on my own. And finally I found the culprit!
Who is me in the first place, given that I made a mistake. TB also has its share of responsibility but he couldn't warn me about the stupid mistake that I made. And this would be a very easy warning!
The fact is that my TB is configured with two separate accounts: one is a regular account, while the other is a certified electronic mail account. Very rarely write or receive messages on it. Then when I opened TB he asks me two passwords, one for each account. Since I usually use the normal account I write my PW to it, but to save time, I have no
no need to insert the other PW and simply click OK.
THIS IS MY ERROR, because in doing so, I am actually give the PW wrong on the certified electronic mail account! However, nothing warned me for my mistake, and - oddly - TB allows me to freely work on the normal account. Meanwhile however the certified mail account 'hangs', waiting for the correct IPL.
So when I finally close TB, thunderbird.exe remains active, and must be removed from the TB start correctly.
The simple and good outcome must, of course, tap the 'Cancel', NOT the tab OK the PW demand for certified mail. But the trap would be avoided altogether if TB continued to ask me for the IPL, preventing other operations in each account.
    Thanks to you all!

Firefox normally displays 9 thumbnails on the page of the new tab (Ctrl + t). If it wasn't her, it was probably an add-on.

    • Using a cable or a wireless Internet connection?

DNS (Domain Name System) translates the URL in IP (Internet Protocol) addresses (and vice versa). For example, if you type http://www.microsoft.com into the address bar in your web browser, your computer sends a request to a DNS server. The DNS server translates the URL to an IP address so that your computer can find the Microsoft web server.

  • Cannot communicate with the device or resource - primary DNS server

I have problems with my laptop using windows 7.
I was able to connect to the internet until the 19/08/12 to the evening.   After having been online earlier that evening and closed, I rebooted the computer and found my computer connected to the wireless network but had access to Internet 'No '.
Network Diagnostics has revealed: "Windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server). I had a full signal strength and I introduced myself to be connected to the network, but there is "no internet access.
I have several computers and have no difficulty in connection with any other device (computer, video streaming, phone), to the internet through the network, home.
I tried and am not able to connect wireless or ethernet over any network cable (tried 3 others) but can connect to these networks using other computers, telephone, etc.
I have not recently installed/uninstalled anything.  System Restore says the last restore as on 15/08/12 point.
    Thank you.

Hey, I uninstalled McAfee and that solved the problem.  Thanks a lot for the suggestion and encouragement.  I'm back online.

    Hello

I was all of a sudden having problems connecting to my wifi at home. When I was diagnosed, he says cannot communicate with primary dns server. I tried all methods in similar positions, but nothing works. I am also unable to connect to internet with my iphone and the itouch. It's really frustrating, because I've already tried all of your suggestions. I just ran another ' diagnose connection problems and it says the following:
"There could be a problem with one or more network adapters on this computer." Help, please!
    Thank you!

Thanks for your help, but I have tried this before. In the end I just unplugged my modem and plugged in again and it worked? I feel a bit silly not to try first.
