Print from Kindle Fire HDX

What can I or how to print from my HDX fire Kindle to my new Laser Jet Pro 100 MFP M175nw. Is this possible?

Hello

You will need to download the application of e-print HP first and make sure that your printer and your kindle are connected to the same wifi network.

Here a link to some information about the configuration of printing wirelessly to kindle.

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Please take a look at the following:

    Add the printer device

You don't want the printer to connect to your wireless network.

If you have a computer at home, and the printer software is available for your operating system, you can install the complete functionality to your printer software.

While you are in the site Web of Support for your printer, it downloads a copy of the your printer user's Guide - it's always good to have on hand.

Your printer is not an ePrint printer - you can skip the sections connected HP and ePrint.

The section you need for your Kindle:

See Section > Mobile device / iPad becomes an application

I tried to download the Firefox web browser on my kindle Fire HDX 8.9 "but I can't seem to download from the site, and when I looked at the list of compatible devices Kindle Fire HDX is not on it. I hope that the browser will be compatible decome for my device soon!

You can install it manually. It is suggested to use the Aurora channel built in order to have updates that version and beta versions are not updated unless you install through Google game.

  • Kindle Fire HDX: Kindle HDX Fire

I use the HP eprint app on my HDX Kindle fire. This is a great app! Can you help me to clear an error message from the status bar? Is not clear, everything works, drag, I restarted the Kindle and uninstalled/reinstalled the soft feel.

    Hi @Thaley58,

Thanks for your patience with this and getting back to us.  Given your confirmation that the printer is not in an error state and efforts by uninstalling and reinstalling the ePrint application, I think that If your Kindle device has a print spooler, the problem is that there is the print job failed two sitting in it.  In my research, I couldn't find any information on how to solve this problem directly from the perspective of Kindle.  However, I found the Amazon steps on how to reset your Kindle.  I recommend you click here and fill out the reset described at the bottom of the table.  Pay attention to the warning from Amazon re: back up your data before performing this step.

    I hope this helps.

  • Kindle Fire HDX

The HDX fire Kindle has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600. We produce folios in a size of 768 x 1024. On the device what it will look like? It grow to fill the screen or just stay at the exact size and as well look really small?

If it is a v28 or later, it is developed to fit the width of the screen with black bars top and bottom. Image PDF format allows to reduce pixelation. If it is a v27 or earlier, it will stay small.

    Hello

I guess that you are referring to the model HP Deskjet 1512?

The HP ePrint app support network connected devices only, the 1512 Deskjet is not supported as a single USB printer.

As a reference, you can see the following document, see the section "Can I print from the mobile application of HP ePrint, using USB or Bluetooth?":

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01923321

HP offer no solution and no such workaroud, app 3rd PrinterShare part that allow sharing a USB printer with your Android device via a computer, you can check:

  • HP Color Laserjet Pro M252dw: Cannot print from Gimp or Adobe Photoshop

Cannot print photos without wire of Gimp or Adobe Photoshop Express.  Print without problem all applications on Dell Inspiron laptop and an old Dell desktop running Vista, to both Samsung Galaxy S7 and S6, Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A.

Although Gimp displays a print with preview menu, when I click on print, nothing happens. Check the status of the print job from Control Panel displays any pending print jobs. Even of Photoshop Express.

Curiously, the impression is fine with an old program SmartDraw photo!

    Welcome @YvonneA1,

Thank you for your participation in the forums! I see that you have problems printing of only two applications. I'd love to help you.

It may be a problem with the language of the application. The printer supports HP PCL 6, HP PCL 5 c, emulation, HP postscript level 3, Cffp, FIU, PDF, native Office.

Feel free to click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'Thumbs Up' If this helped. Please let me know the results. Best regards

  • HP desktop 3740 series: printing from a kindle fire hd to a 3740 deskjey

Is compatible with the Kindle Fire Hd 7 3740?  How do I put in place?

    Hi @joyfuljoie,

Looks like you got your Deskjet 3740 for awhile. It takes a good printer for you.

I was able to find a guide to the user of this printer and it doesn't have a network card wireless which is required to print from a mobile device.

If you send everything you want to print on your computer (by e-mail or by using a cloud service, such as Google or Microsoft OneDrive). You can print the part of the computer.

    Good luck

  • Why my Kindle fire can not find my HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-one printer - C309a with ePrint.

I downloaded the HP ePrint onto my Kindle Fire (first generation).  The app has been obtained from the Amazon AppStore I looked printer apps for Kindle Fire.  I use the HP ePrint with my iPhone4 and iPad 2 and can print from both of them with her.  Kindle fire can't find the printer on my network wireless using ePrint.  I wonder why this happens when two other mobile devices are easily.  Can someone tell me what I could do in order to access the printer all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium Fax - C309a on Kindle fire?

I set up the connection on the HP printer wireless and was able to print from my Kindle on it.  However, my iPhone and iPad will be printed on the HP printer via wireless connection.

I reconnected my USB cable at the airport, but left the WiFi of the HP printer and now I can print from the iPad and iPhone / Kindle.  My Inspiron 1525 PC and my PowerBookG4 can print on the HP printer using WiFi or via the USB connection.

  • Download music from iTunes to Kindle fire

I have a Kindle Fire 8, I should be able to download my music iTunes also.  Nothing happens if I'm shown in the Amazon.  In fact, when I got my Kindle connected to the iMac, there is no signal that another device is still connected.  Hope someone can help me.  Thank you.

    Please see:

It needs to connect to a USB port on your computer. Personally, I use a USB adapter that plugs into a seizure of power, as it is significantly faster to load (for my base 6 "Kindle).

  • HP offers a network print to Kindle app/driver or similar mobile device?

I use a printer HP LaserJet CP1025nw of SIN - and a fire to be kindled. They do not speak with each other.

I would use an officially supported HP (reading - 'trust') of the interface of my Kindle, Android or other mobile devices, just as I enjoy printing services to my other PC computers HP, the midrange and mainframe.

I understand that there are hacks and freeware to do this, just like in the early days of the PC.  Similarly, these new mobile devices are here to stay, and the need for a paper copy of these tools has moved beyond the occasional hacking solutions and third-party.

In addition to snapshots and birthday cards, we are now received printing orders, BOMs and proposals from these devices.

It needs confidence and security, such as one would expect from HP.

Offer HP, or plan to offer, a professional quality, HP, support, wireless app/print driver for Kindle, Android or other mobile devices?

    Thank you for your interest.
