I can't do mt Officejet 6700 impression on one side... try to get mail labels

What do you mean it prints duplex all the time? This can be corrected without much effort at all. For others to better support you that they need more information to understand the context.

  • How to use the print face feature two automatic? I get only one side printed.

I just got a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 and it says it's supposed to automatically print double-sided.  When I have a paper face two feed the paper from the upper bin feeder, it takes in and it then prints on one side, then he pulls the book which he just printed in as if he was going to print the second side, but then it ejects just page and does never print the second side.  I have an Asus computer running Windows 7, but I'm just trying to make a copy two faces to the right of the printer itself.  I went into the settings and there are two options under two back, we say '1-coast face 1 copy Original' and the other choice I have chosen is "1 side 2-sided original copy.  Those are the only choices.  What I am doing wrong?

The two-sided printing module will print the back automatically when printing.  When making copies, it will print the back if you put two (or more) pages in the feeder and select this option to copy 1-face to face 2.  This model apparently does not 2 head to head 2 copies, i.e., it doesn't have a mechanism to scan the rear face of load in the ADF.

  • HP 4515: Printing on both sides of a sheet with 2 different print files

I would like to print a message on the back of our statement of mailing direct advice given our associates to each pay period.  The statement is generated in our payroll system .xps format.  The message is in Word.  Is it possible to store two files in Quebec and then have the statement printed on one side and the message printed on the reverse in the same impression.  I have a HP4515 with a double-sided accessory.  Don't know if this is possible, but I thought I could think I hope someone in HP had already made and allowed.

As long as the printer is concerned, 'jobs' are exclusive entities, which means that they cannot share the same sheet of paper.

that is when a task is completed, all media (paper) used by labour emptied unit before the start of any other position.

What print products third many do (and have done for years) is to use PCL macros. sometimes referred to as overlays.

These are normally stored in RAM of the printer (and therefore have to be downloaded on the device whenever it is turned on), although on some more expensive printers, these macros can be loaded more permanently on a hard drive in the unit.

But the print job you send to the device must be able to select the macros, which prohibits indeed (AFAIK) standard Windows printer drivers.

either you write your own flow of printing (without the benefit of a driver), or to make use of a third-party product that could do it for you. most of these products are designed for specific types of production and are not suitable for general - purpose printing.

... or just change your app "direct deposit advice" out of the back and the front statement.

  • HP Officejet 4630: Printing on one or both faces

I have a HP printer 4630 all-in-one and I can't seem to find the setting to turn off the double-sided printing so I can print on one side. With it, I use a new Mac laptop with OS of Yosemite and a new version of Microsoft Word.  When I go to print, it does give me not an option to print one or two pages, as I used to do with my HP c309g printer.

    Hello
Follow these steps to disable two-sided printing:

Open the file that you want to print. On the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.

NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to display all available parameters.

Click on the Copies of the Pages & drop-down list in Microsoft Office applications.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

    Set the duplex as Off.

You can save the settings as a preset by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.

By default, the print job by completing these settings will remain until another preset is used in the future.

  • Print on both sides, Deskjet 2050 all-in-One J510a

    Hello

I have a Deskjet 2050 All - in - One J510a and I just realized that I can't manually print on both sides simply because this function does not exist on the print menu in the Properties window.

So, how can I print on both sides?

    Thank you

    Gil

So I guess I should be a REP from HP because these guys are not answering the question? If you go under Printer Properties Advanced there is an option to print only the even or odd, pages print the odd pages first and then put the paper in the printer, go to print click on main pages and bam there you go.

  • LaserJet Pro M402dn: One side printing as default on HP M402dn

I want to print one side only as a default setting.

The current default value is two sided.

How can I change the default permanently on a back?

I don't want to change the setting that each I print.

Or how can I select 'Print every day' as the permanent choice, unless I change it myself?

    Thank you

If you're talking about a pilot affecting then you must open the Printers dialog box and set the printer driver properties overall.

In Windows 8, that I have to click on the Windows icon at the bottom left of the screen, and then start hitting devices and printers.

Printers Citizen was on the list of research would be to click on it to open devices and Printers dialog box.

Then I would right click on the printer and to Midway in the list which appeared I would choose the properties of the printer, there is another similar entry at the bottom of the list, but you want the halfway point with the word inside printer.

Once you open this dialog box, you can click on the tabs and change the settings and then to apply them and those that will become the default settings for all applications.

  • HP Pro 8600 n911a Duplex printing only on one side

Hi Im having proplem is im using the document feeder, try to use the duplex feat. and printing only on one side

IM using paper 8 x 11, I've changed the setting for double-sided copying print settings can somone please help...

    Hello honorable31,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I appreciate that you try to use the double-sided copy document feeder. This model printer the N911a does not support the loading of double-sided documents. The N911g and the n supports the loading of double-sided documents.

So that you can accomplish something similar to come, you will need to place the original on the glass, and then press copy > settings > both sides > 1 heads 2 copy. The printer is paused in the middle of the job to allow you to turn the page on the glass.

    I hope this helps.

  • 110 eprint only prints one side

My desire to 110 will be printed double-sided of the word etc. because it is set as default (both through the "HP printer Assistant" and "devices and printers", but when I send a document or print it ignores the parameter by default and print the front.)

Any ideas on how to assign eprint duplex?

    Hi TheWooster,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I believe that when you send a print job to your Envy 110 use ePrint printer it does not print double-sided.

EPrint currently doesn't support duplex (print on both sides of the page).  This information is found in the document Getting Started with ePrint under the FAQ entitled "are there restrictions when you use ePrint?

I can't print on both sides of the paper.  Use of IE and Windows 7

Sorry, this printer is NOT a duplexer.

The duplexer allows the printer to print on both sides. You will not be able to do, with this printer.

  • print on both sides, deskjet 2050 all-in-one

base of this printer driver cannot print (manually) on both sides of the paper.

Is it possible with the complete hp software?

    Make a mistake? can help?

    Best regards

    Tommao

    Hi Tommao,

The pilot allow you to print on both sides of the paper using the Pages to print feature. The same functionality provided by HP software full functionality as well.

The application allows printing, open the print dialog box

Click Properties to access the Printing Preferences dialog box.

Listed Pages to print the odd pages only and make the print job.

Place the printed pages face down in the ADF and make another print job by selecting only the even pages.

    Kind regards

  • OfficeJet 8610: OfficeJet 8610 when you copy in duplex, one side to the other side

When I try to copy multi-page documents, goes to 1 side 2 sides, one side is upside down. This works when the pages are in portrait setup but not when they are in the configuration of the landscape.

It's COPY, not print, so I can't follow the advice to replace the flip setting. There seems not to be a setting on the printer itself to change that.

I did a chat session with HP, but the problem was not resolved. I got a call a supervisor (level 2, no doubt), but I have not worked with them again.

The printer is connected wireless. I run the installation wizard and the Finder solution and the update as well as the doctor of printing and scanning without result.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @Tiggy626A,

I see you are having problems copying 2 sides in landscape mode. I will definitely do my best to help you.

From the front panel of the printer, you can bind only on the long side, there is no option to change the copy to the short edge. I tried to copy 2 faces on our Officejet 8610 laboratory, one side released head downstairs. By experimenting, I found a solution, by loading the two documents to copy in the ADF file, load the other down. This will allow the copy two facing the landscape properly the printer. I know that's not very practical, but it worked out this way.

This feature is available if you choose to scan documents and then print as a 2-sided document with a link on the edge short.

Here is a document for the HP Officejet Pro printers 8610 - copying Documents.

If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below. Thank you.

  • Print on both sides of the page

For printing on both sides of the page, the instructions say to FLIP on LONG EDGE or RETURN on SHORT EDGE.   WHAT WOULD BE THE CRITERIA FOR THE REVERSAL OF ONE WAY OR THE OTHER?  I'm printing docs on 8-1/2 x 11 paper. 1 set of docs is 14 unique pages that I could turn it into 7 if I could print on both sides.

Instructions more tell - printer is will automatically load the back paper to print on the other side. Someone please help me understand these instructions?  Thank you.  Judy

    > to FLIP on LONG EDGE or RETURN on SHORT EDGE.

This difference is important if you want to print portrait vs landscape.

For the first case, you usually run flip on the long side, on the side.
