• Print preview shows only a page of article

  I have a 23 page article exclusively portrait for which I can get a preview only one page.  Normally this is the first page, but if I click on any other page, the preview shows this page - but the slider at the bottom of the content viewer displays only the first page regardless of what the page is in the preview window.  I'm a newbie at this, and this is my second article; one worked very well.  Put them together in a Folio, or order, and the 'normal' displays all pages and the other shows only 1 page.  Any thoughts?

  Stupid beginners... I read that some of these options layout in English.  If the item is not set to "horizontal scan only" it seems the vertical sweep only, not "optional".  The Aha! is time brushing accidentally mouse so that Preview scrolling upward, revealing the hidden underneath pages.  Now I get it.

  You must manually create the menu (new menu set to "Manual"). There is no way to automatically create the secondary menu.

  I tried to change the margins on my printer set up. Since I did my printer will only print blank pages of Firefox. (If I open a PDF file it prints well) I tried to go back into all of the printing, but it is only as a large black page. Any thoughts?

  It worked before?  If so, what has changed?

  Let's start by download the latest drivers and software from Kodak and see if that helps.

  When you install the drivers, it is important to perform the following actions:

  1. remove the printer from the PC.

  2 uninstall the printer from the PC driver.

  3 reinstall the printer driver.

  4 reinstall the printer.

• On Google, Ffox 3.6.12 shows only 10 results even when I specify 100; Mac G4 10.4.11. other browsers show 100 without problem.

  On my Mac G4 two-way to 1.25 GHz Power PC with OS X 10.4.11 and Firefox 3.6.12, when I opened Google and specify 100 results like this...

  .. .it always shows just 10 results. While Opera and Safari (I don't use Internet Extorter) show 100 results no problem to use this URL.

  Problem was occurring at least since Firefox 3.6.9 if I remember correctly. Not sure if it was going on before that.

  Google has recently made a few changes on the site to Google search with the addition of instant search and who made the adjustment of the number of results in the settings of Google to stop working.

  If Instant Search is enabled in the settings of Google search page (link at the top right) then you get only 10 results.
  
  You must disable Instant Search and reload the result page, and then set the number of results to your preferred choice.
  
  It may not work if you change both at the same time.

  There is a link directly to the right of the Google search box on the Google results page.

  It's a button with a drop-down list: moment is On / Off.

  Thanks for the video, which has been most useful.

  I suspect that the router can be not broadcast the Hello Protocol as it did in the past. To resolve this problem, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Out of the router, unplug the power cable
  2. Out of the printer, unplug the power cable
  3. Stop the Mac
  4. Give up everything for 1 minute and then reconnect the router
  5. Once sighted routers are on, reconnect the printer to the
  6. When the wireless printer is solid, turn on the Mac
  7. Now try to add the printer that you had previously, you should now see the Hello or Hello printer multifunction beside him.

  If this does not resolve the problem, it could be the printer. Follow the steps below.

  On the front panel of the printer, the arrow down to settings, then press OK. Down arrow for wireless and press OK. In the wireless menu, go to IPV6 and turn it off. Once IPV6 is disabled, try to add the printer in the preferences system again.

• Print preview displays a blank page when printing, the problem is random and is fixed with a PC "restart".

  Printing results in a gray - print, nothing is printed and the dialog box notes that an error occurred during printing. I can do a reboot, the problem is resolved for a while, and then it again. Problem is obvious if printing on a page printer or ADOBE.
  I am running Firefox 30.0 on a Windows 7 system. The problem took place for several weeks.

  It is probably not everything faster that restarting Windows, but the next time this happens, could you try to erase the information that Firefox has accumulated on your printer in its preferences file? This article has more information on this option: solve the printing problems in Firefox.

  Also, if you notice any pattern of events leading up to this problem, which may help to unravel the mystery.

• Google Image Search shows only one page of results, then the gray boxes

  Since several months ago, google search for images watch gray boxes instead of the thumbnails after a random number of thumbnails correctly indicated.

  I've seen several posts on the web and several suggestions, but none solved the problem for me (FF 20.0.1, Windows Vista and Windows 7).

  Finally, I tracked down the source of the problem and found a workaround:

  Looking at the traffic on my firewall (iptables nat) I found this during the loading of an image search result:
  192.168.168.159 - > 74.125.234.226 TLSv1 alert (level: Fatal, Description: unexpected Message)

  So, I realized that since there is a time firefox uses https whenever we use google.

  The solution is after loading the image (with the gray boxes) search result, just replace the https to http protocol in the browser's address bar. Which loads the remaining without problem images when you scroll to the bottom of the page.

  IE does not have the problem because it does not have this redirect. If you load a 'good' search results in Internet Explorer, then replace http with https in the address bar, the same problem occurs in Internet Explorer.

  (so, apologize for posting this here, because it's not really a matter of "firefox", but given that most people are complaining that it is, I though it would be a good place for the available information)

  Thanks, but as I said, that is done the same if forced to https. I can boot to linux, and FF is the same, like chrome.

  So it's not anything related to the cache, cookies, or plugins or even FF FF. It's probably something in the firewall. I just posted it here because other people have been blaming FF for this problem (it is more likely to be seen in FF, because it was google redirect to https for 14.0.1).

• Printer still prints nothing or only partial pages with Windows 7 64 bit

  I have a laptop HP with Windows 7, 64-bit four months and I am currently on my THIRD new printer.  When I send a print job to the printer, the printer lights up and prepares to print, and then print anything at all or part of a page and then gives me an error message and cancels the job.  This happened to start with a new HP printer, so I took it and got a new Lexmark printer.  When the same problem happened with the Lexmark, I brought back and now have a brand new Epson.  All three printers have had the same problem.  With the last two, I have tried everything - unplug the printer, the print queue, compensation uninstall, and then reinstall the software, ensuring that programs have been allowed on the Windows Firewall, temporarily disable AVG etc.  A recent post, I found said that to change the print of 'Print immediately' settings to "Printing after last Page is wound" (or something like that) helped, but I tried and it did not help me.  I did a lot of research on Google and it seems to be a persistant problem with Windows 7.  Admittedly, I found that it is not a problem with my printer.  Help, please.  I am a student who is very desperate to print and do not know what else to do...

• My Adobe XI shows only gray pages when I try to scan to my drive to an Epson WF-3540.  It is apparent from the file that it is a multiple KB pdf file.  To read it, I have to send by e-mail to myself and let the online mail reader to open.  Can analyze jpg

  Is there a compatibility issue with Adobe Reader XI 11.0.10 and the program scan pdf FRO a WF-3540 Epson All In One?  Is this a problem with Epson?  Is it because the "source" shown in the properties of an Epson is a PDF of xx 5. ?  I do not understand why I can e-mail question and get it to appear in the Adobe Reader online, but if I try to record on my drive it comes out with blank pages (grey) again. Is this a problem with Win7?  Help me I have a lot of scanning to do and know just everything was fine until ten days two weeks ago.  Don't know if an update for Epson, Win7 or Adobe may problem.

  Try to edit > preferences > Page Display > content and information of the Page. Make sure that 'See the large images' are checked.

  When I scan a page 11 document, I can only fax 1 page at a time. In windows XP, I could click a little box next to a component and fax scans as much as I needed to. Seems to be a promblem with the firmware? Help, please.

  You will need to scan each file the flat bed of the scanner, in PDF format, select under Advanced to combine all the scans. Then once they are on your computer, you can use the software PC - Fax to fax this back scan. This is your best solution.

• Photosmart 8150 print preview empty but pages of fine print

  I use my Photosmart 8150 for years - since the first is out - with no real problems. Since then, in particular, web pages will display many pages, when I want to just one or two (and other reasons) I still have the "print preview show" selected. This way I can see what is happening to print on what page, then, if necessary, cancel and adjust pages is printed.

  My problem is that recently I had to reinstall Win 7 and since then, almost everytime I have send something to the printer, the preview window opens, displays the correct number of pages to print, but they are all empty. In fact, once in the past 30-40 print content appears in pages; all the other times, they were empty.

  This is not an isolated print of the web browser, but is the same of any s/w - Word, Photoshop and other programs. Can someone help me?

  It's certainly an issue that you are experiencing.

  I have provided a few more things, we can try,

  Clearly on the record of spooling on the computer. Just follow the steps is this document to Windows 7: Print Spooler Queue - erase and reset.

  Go to start, devices and printers, right click on the printer, left, click printer properties, click the Advanced tab and activate the print features is checked, apply the settings.

  You could always install a generic driver to see if that will help. Please take a look at @Shane_R not
