Print this manual as PDF problem

Using InDesign CS4 606, Acrobat Pro 920 and OS x 10.6.7.

I have a brochure A4 40page with the verse pages.  I would use the characteristic imprint of booklet to create a 2-top stitching horse PDF.

I've set up to print to the Adobe PDF 9.0 printer. After choosing my settings, I click Print in the print booklet dialog box.  My print job appears in the print queue Adobe PDF 9.0 with the message "you must install the software to use this printer. To install software choose software update from the Apple Menu. If the software for your printer is not available in Software Update, contact the manufacturer of your printer. "I check the software update and have no update."

So my printing booklet job is stuck in the queue go anywhere with the status of "error".

Can anyone help?  Thank you.

Unless something has changed in 10.6.7, what is possible, you must print to postscript from print booklet, not the printer PDF file, use the Acrobat PPD file, then distill in a second time.

  • Problem of image quality when you print the brochure in PDF format

    Hello!

I searched the whole web, trying to find a solution for my problem, but I couldn't find anything...

I created a vertical page A5 document in InDesign CS6, filled with high quality photos. Now, I want to print in a brochure (in PDF format) in order to save it and print it in a professional facility.

The problem is when I do this, the image quality turns out to be terrible...

I checked my print settings and I can not find something wrong...

Installation - A4 horizontally, and Graphics - Images - send data - is set to all.

Is there anything else I can / try? What can I do it wrong?

Here is a picture of my print settings:

    printsettings_ind.png

When I export the document normally in format PDF the image quality is fine, but it doesn't have the booklet layout I need, it exports all single A5 pages one after the other. If I try to print this pdf file as a booklet in Adobe Reader, the same thing happens to the images, they lose quality.

    Help, please!

    Thanks :))

Have you checked withthei 'professional establishment' as to what they want. Printers will not, in general, impose you the document. It's their job and they do it in a way that corresponds to the study and the equipment they use for printing.

That said, your problem with low quality images is probably the default PDF settings. Change them to something useful in Pringter in the Windows properties, or click the settings button in the print dialog box to access the driver from there and set them as you want. I'm sure that when the default installed PDF printer is 'standard' gives you the output of RGB 72 ppi.

The PDF Viewer for Firefox supports not only this type of form PDF (XFA) or any PDF form really. You must download the file and open it in Acrobat or Adobe Reader, and it will work. You can download the PDF file right click on this link and selecting "save target as".

  • AcroPDF in VB6 - text to search in the PDF and print this page.

Okay, so I'm sure this question has been asked and answered 100 times, but for some reason that my Googling skills are seriously miss you today...

I have a legacy application built in Visual Basic 6 that generates a special form letter PDF documents.  Each PDF contains all letters that were printed so far.  I really it work all rather decently, but something came earlier that put me on programming new obsession.  I want to activate the following features of my application:

    1. The user provides a text string that must be unique among all pages of all PDF (customer ID).
    2. The application then finds the PDF containing this text string that identifies which number of the page containing this text string.
    3. Finally, send only this page to the printer.

I can now easily create, view, and print the PDF of my application.  While the creation of the document is made in a third of the reports system, display and printing functions are essentially managed using AcroPDF.dll.  Through the properties and methods available for AcroPDF object, I see that I can tell it to print only the specified pages, which gives me the last part of my needs, and I have the part of the user input down pat.  I'm just totally puzzled to find a solution to the 'step 2 '.

Suggestions, ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.  I'm a little tired of banging my head against a wall.  Thank you for your time.

If you are only using Adobe Reader, then this feature is available.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, then you have a few options.

    Hi markusa57,

You could try to mention below as follows:

1 check if there is an update available for Acrobat, launch Acrobat > go to the Help menu > then select check updates.

    2. If that doesn't work, try to remove the printer Adobe PDF under control panel and then add it again. Go to control panel > select devices and printers > under printers > select Adobe PDF > right-click on it and select Remove the instrument. To manually add the Adobe PDF printer, visit this link:install PDF printer manually.

3-If this does not work, try to repair the installation of Acrobat under Help menu > select repair installation.

Could you please let me know the version of Acrobat installed on the machines DC?

  • How can I print the manual?

It is a question that applies to my two recent purchases of SONY, a SONY kdl60ex720 TV and now a camera SONY DSC-HX100V. How can I print a copy of the users guide? This must been an oversight by SONYS CE Ministère, it is not very difficult to provide an option to print the manual page in its entirety not only one at a time.

You can use Adobe Acrobat to print all I have manual from the Web site as a single pdf file. You can use the trial version of Acrobat for this work.
Choose "Create a PDF file from the Web site" and copy the URL. Make sure "load the entire Web site" is selected.

  • Print to / save as pdf

    Hello

Recently I had problems with the conversion of images in pdf files.
I used to be able to select a group image then right click and choose 'Print' (he then opens a print from Windows Photo Viewer dialog box).
Then I could then choose a printer (printer Adobe pdf, Foxit pdf printer, printer Microsoft XPS)
The images would be properly and then save to the pdf format.
However, now, whenever I try to print the images in pdf or xps, pdf/xps files is always rotated 90 degrees to the left, causing the unreadable pdf. I tried the driver adobe pdf, foxit pdf driver and the driver xps from microsoft without success.
    Is anyway to fix this?
    Thank you!

What happened when things were at work?

I suspect that the problem is related to the "orientation" EXIF tag  In the brief search I did, I saw comments complaining that viewers the native Windows 7 image are not properly manage the rotation EXIF information (and possibly corrupt).  Maybe the Photo Viewer interprets the orientation tag go and pdf printers interpret it another way.

Try to use IrfanView (free) to view the images and set the option "Auto-rotate image according to the EXIF info (if available)."  See http://www.impulseadventure.com/photo/exif-orientation.html

IrfanView should print the image of how it appears on the screen (there is also a "autorotation" option in the dialog box print IrfanView;) I did not experience to see what it does).

  • Printing with Acrobat Reader DC problem

I am responsible for my company and user including myself is wrong print PDF with Acrobat Reader DC.

Sometimes when you print it out Document PDF with Acrobat Reader DC the document print most with spot on a part of the text from right on the page.

It's probably a problem with the police as the finger only where the text should be.

If I print to the printer even with Acrobat Pro XI of the same document is ok. I'm the only user with install Acrobat Pro XI.

We experience this problem since all the computer receives the update to Acrobat Reader DC.

We have an HP Color Laser Printer and Ricoh multifunction printer. All users have Windows 10 Pro (the same problem has happened before with Windows 7).

  • When I try to print a file ID PDF transforms the drawing in a worse

    Hello everyone

My name is Ishmael, and I work with InDesign CS6.
I am trying to print a document from ID, in which I placed some vector designs for Illustrator (and before that, they come to the Academy). The problem I find, to which I was not able to find a solution, is that when I try to export to interactive PDF my drawing quality diminishes, it s like ID do all lines and its thickness in the he loves the most and my picture becomes a completely different, with a worse quality.

It's the way my drawing actually looks at a preview of the ID. Exactly as I want to be printed.

    Captura2.JPG

And that's how ID prints, after that I tried to export the document in PDF format (no matter if I try as an Interactive-PDF, print PDF, or if I try to print with the Adobe PDF printer)

    Captura.JPG

I was looking hard all over the web, and I have not found any similar explanation on what could pass me.

Is this someone might know that could be the problem?

Thank you so much for all those who want to help me

    Best regards

    Ishmael

How you view the exported PDF file? In the drive? Acrobat? Something else?

For reliability, it should be Reader or Acrobat and if it's one of those, try this:

Edit > Preferences > Page Display > (uncheck) improve fine lines (it is enabled by default; it disable)

  • When I print a html to PDF, it displays an error called "SegoeUISymbol not found, using mail.", may I ask how to solve?

    The error message:

    %% [ProductName: Distiller] %.

    %% [Page: 1] %.

SegoeUISymbol not found, by using the messaging service.

%% [Error: invalidfont;] [OffendingCommand: show] %.

    Battery:

    ()

%% [Flushing: rest of job (end of file) will be ignored] %%.

%% [Warning: PostScript error.] No PDF file produced. ] %%

The problem is probably due to the printer driver options set by default for the printer PostScript of PDF from Adobe driver instance.

To resolve this issue, quit programs and go to the Adobe PDF printer Properties . On the Advanced tab, press the button default printing . Select the Adobe PDF settings Look for option rely on system fonts only . Uncheck this option. Then press OK. Select the general tab, and then press the button Preferences . Still once, select the Adobe PDF settings Look for option rely on system fonts only . Uncheck this option if it is not already unchecked. Then press OK and click OK again.

This should fix the problem. Please report back with your results.

  • How to print an Adobe Reader PDF page in duplex, using a mac and a brother printer?

How to print an Adobe Reader PDF page in duplex, using a mac and a brother printer?

    Hey Sanford,

Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat allow you to print double-sided if your printer supports this feature. The printer driver controls the options, not of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.

Check your printer documentation to see what features your printer supports.

Please see this KB document for the steps double-sided printing. Acrobat, Reader.

Let me know if you encounter any problem.
