Print to / save as pdf

Hello

Recently I had problems with the conversion of images in pdf files.
I used to be able to select a group image then right click and choose 'Print' (he then opens a print from Windows Photo Viewer dialog box).
Then I could then choose a printer (printer Adobe pdf, Foxit pdf printer, printer Microsoft XPS)
The images would be properly and then save to the pdf format.
However, now, whenever I try to print the images in pdf or xps, pdf/xps files is always rotated 90 degrees to the left, causing the unreadable pdf. I tried the driver adobe pdf, foxit pdf driver and the driver xps from microsoft without success.
Is anyway to fix this?
Thank you!

What happened when things were at work?

I suspect that the problem is related to the "orientation" EXIF tag  In the brief search I did, I saw comments complaining that viewers the native Windows 7 image are not properly manage the rotation EXIF information (and possibly corrupt).  Maybe the Photo Viewer interprets the orientation tag go and pdf printers interpret it another way.

Try to use IrfanView (free) to view the images and set the option "Auto-rotate image according to the EXIF info (if available)."  See http://www.impulseadventure.com/photo/exif-orientation.html

IrfanView should print the image of how it appears on the screen (there is also a "autorotation" option in the dialog box print IrfanView;) I did not experience to see what it does).

Printer configure only. Then, in the print task panel, select print to: printer and click Print or printer. The printer button will bring to the top of the window to Setup again and allow you to make changes. The print button starts the print job (save as PDF) with no popup of installation. The window "save PDF file under ' should appear and prompt you to enter a file name and the destination of the file. This is the behavior I see with Adobe Acrobat Pro installed, but it should work the same with any PDF printer driver.

  • Cannot save as PDF keeps wanting to print word doc

I try to save a doc word (about 60 pages) in PDF format, but I get the appearance fast printing. Confused.

It depends what measures you use, but printing to a virtual printer that generates a PDF file is a common way to create PDF files. It also seems to be built into OS X, so it should work for any application.

  • Not "Save as pdf" option for web printing "Smart Print" with IE9

Just updated IE9 browser and noticed that there is no option 'Save as pdf' Smart for IE9 catalog as it was in older versions of smart Web printing for the IE8 and other earlier versions?

Are there ' work around ' way, apart from the "Print Screen" heavier and HP approach will add back this feature is very handy in the future upgrades?

I honestly always preferred Google Chrome IE, just for compatibility and ease of use of the browser.

Just to tell you, SWP is a program that was written for IE8, but has been made compatible with IE9 which led some of the lost features crash. The feature can be added in the future, but I can't put a time table on when this feature will be added. Is there a specific task you want to accomplish that I might be able to give a more appropriate work around?

Let me know and I'll get back to you!

When you have what you want to save the selected PDF file, make sure that you press properties, and set the resolution in the settings.  PDF files themselves have quality settings, (print quality, Web quality etc) then make sure that you have the right to a game if you plan to use the "print" function to save in PDF format.

  • Save as PDF/Google Cloud Print

I have 2 shelves Samsung Galaxy (tab 2 and tab 4), 4.1.2 Android running one, and 4.4.2 running.  Both have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 16.2. Both are signed to the same Google account.

On the most recent tablet, select print gives me a dialog box with the option to save in PDF format.

On the older tablet, selecting printing takes me to a login page for Google Cloud Print.

I can't figure how to get rid of the Google Cloud Print option. Google Cloud Print (the application) is not installed on the tablet. I re-installed Adobe and is about to format the tablet to see if that changes.

I want to just save as PDF locally on the two tablets.

    Hello

Registration as a PDF for Google Cloud Print option is only available for Android versions 4.4 and above. Layout of the tablet or reinstall the application would not help and you will lose important data. I would advise against it. All annotated with Adobe Acrobat files are saved in their original location. You try to save in a different location using 'Save As PDF '?

  • How to save a pdf file in the folder my documents when you are printing from Explorer?

I often need to print Web pages to PDF and save them in the folder my documents.  Until a few weeks ago, it was no problem.  About three weeks ago I started getting the following error message every time I print a Web page in Internet Explorer when the selected printer is Adobe PDF and when I try to save to the folder my documents: when printing to PDF on a Web page in Internet Explorer, I can not save to my documents folder.  I have an error message "you don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator for approval. "Now, I must save the new pdf to my desktop and then transfer it to the documents folder, which is a waste of time and that clutters my office.  How can I fix it?

This problem does not occur when printing to pdf from other browsers, but I have to use some Web sites that work best with Explorer.  Even if in the Solution Explorer, I can print to the Microsoft XPS Document Writer, and save the document to the my documents folder without this error message.

    OS is Windows 7

    11 the Explorer

    Adobe Acrobat Pro X

Try disabling Internet Explorer protected mode and let us know if that suits him.

    To disable the protected mode:

    1. open Internet Explorer

2 - go to the top gear icon on the right

3 - click on Internet Options

    4. under the security"" tab.

    5. uncheck the box that says "Enable Protected mode"

    6. click on apply and OK

  • Adobe Reader DC on 10 to WIN will not print nor save any document pdf, just show it on the screen.

On the screen, everything seems OK and changes, i.e. to add text a.s.o., can be made. But then the document cannot be saved or printed. For printing, the necessary configuration looks ok but then comes the error message 'no page (s) selected for printing'.

"Cute PDF-printer" is possible and I can use it as a way to save the island on the disk. But this new document itself cannot be printed on paper, getting the same error message.

And when you try to change or any action on a pdf file, this action cannot be completed and closed, the PC crashes and the Task Manager is necessary for the closure of Adobe.

None of the advice given in this forum are useful. Adobe removing and reinstalling did not help either!

  • Google Chrome Print - Save as PDF Glitch

    Hello

Since all July 2015, I noticed all the PDF I printed on Google Chrome the button print and selecting Save as PDF are unfathomable on my PC.

PDF documents I look just fine, but if you place the cursor on a line of text, then click on copy and past the text Google search or in a word doc then all I get is square box symbols and text.

I tried this on all 3 of my PC, Adobe running a Pro X and others running the standard version and the same failure is on the whole using Google Chrome.

Can the community do me a favor and see if I'm doing something wrong or if Google is curropting these files.

    Try with this Article http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/34956022

Print, save to PDF and once registered, copy a section of text and then paste you see if its readable.

In Firefox, print, save as PDF function works very well and you can copy and paste the text from the PDF file.

    Thanks for your help

You should ask your question in a forum on Google Chrome. These forums are on Adobe software.

Clear the PRINT TO FILE option in Acrobat or Adobe Reader. It will be somewhere in the print dialog boxes.

Print > save as PDF - use an excerpt (part of Mac OS X), so Adobe Reader should have no effect on that at all.

As for the error "file corrupted", simply uninstall the Reader app will not affect it. Follow these steps:

    Mac/HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins

Trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

    Mac HD/Applications

    Trash the application Adobe Reader

    [user] / Library/Preferences

    Trash the com.adobe.Reader.plist file

To access the [user] / Library, hold down the 'Option' and click on 'Go' in the FInder menu.

    Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe

    Trash the drive (full record)

    Empty the trash.

Download the installer FULL here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Quit your browser, and then reinstall the drive.

Run it from the Applications folder and agree to the license agreement.

You should have no problem with Safari PDF files download.

Unfortunately, ANY PDF file that says it is damaged.... You will need their trash.

  • Internal FM 10: Error when printing PostScript, or by using the Save as PDF

    Hello

When I do the following, I get an internal error of FM (10024, 7687848, 7688138, 10076935), and closes FM:

    • Print a PostScript file
    • Print a book (all the files in the open book) in PostScript
    • Save a book (all the files in the open book) in PDF (save as PDF)

I use FrameMaker for Windows with Acrobat X 10 (I've just upgraded to Acrobat X in Acrobat 8, making sure that the upgrade would solve my problem).

I get error (same string error numbers) with several files and books. All files and books are on my local hard drive (and not on a server).

I made sure the two applications are updated and we have tried several options work. The only way I can generate a file PDF of FM is to record a single FM PDF file (Save As PDF) - the other scenarios, cited above, the internal error.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Mel

I would say that the chances were close to 90% that the problem is the lack of the fix.

Is for all PostScript printers, and we have to establish the baseline starting to move forward.

If this is not in place, you have little chance getting a fix for your problem.
