Print to JPEG

I don't have a print button, one printer and print.... neither one of them will bring up a dialog box. I have a Samsung printer Laser. I want to save them in JPEG format.

I use the free download of LightRoom.

Thank you

Laura

Hi Laura,

You must first change the option in the print job Panel.

Once changed to JPEG, you should be able to save the file in Jpeg format.

  • Print to JPEG does not work

    Hello

Today, I tried the print for the first time module.

I'm on OSX 10.10.5 and LR CC 2015.4

    -J' chose an image

-Page settings: custom 80 x 60 cm (poster)

    -Watermark

-L' print the photo information: title

    -Output: JPEG file

-Color management: ICC profile to a print provider

When I click on "Save to file" (don't know exactly English label, I use the German version) I'm wondering for a file name. After selecting a folder and enter a file name, I click "Save".

Then nothing else happens outside info message "print order will be prepared..." ».

There is no progress and of course no output file.

    I'm a bit confused.

    Someone an idea?

    Thomas

    1. If you print to a file jpeg, the color profile must be sRGB, not an ICC profile, which is associated with a specific printer.

    2. you can try to disable the graphics processor.  Go to Lightroom > Preferences > performance.

  • Print book jpeg on chandelier

In the book module I'm offered glossy or matte as the documents from which to choose for printing with the JPEG option.  I would like to make my pages in Photoshop and print on Epson Luster paper as I get excellent results.  I have same quality matte paper or glossy.  The other option is to stay in LR and go through the print module with my book where I have many more choices.  Is this possible?  Thank you.

I touched the print module and there is my page ready to print.  Got it now.  An ah-ha moment!  Thanks much for the reply.

  • Print module Lightroom bands exif data when printing to JPEG

Lightroom print module strips exif data when printing in format jpeg - how can you prevent this or restore the exif data?

Use export instead of print to Jpg format to have the exif data in your file.  The print module was never meant to include exif.  For example, how could save exif if you print 3 photos in format a JPG or a Board-contact.

    Another option...

FastStone Image Viewer freeware can add

Restore point before installing software or updates)

    FastStone Image Viewer

    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

I suggest that you create a new folder and add
copies of your photos for experimental purposes.
If you are unhappy with the result your originals
    will be intact.

After FastStone is downloaded and installed...
    Open the program and go...

Tools / open the Batch Conversion / tab Batch convert...

Check the box... Use of advanced options...

Advanced Options button / tab text.
    Check the box... Add text...

Open the window drop... "Insert a Variable."
choose... The file name / no Extension...

  • I can't print to a JPEG of 3,58 MB on CP5225n Laser jet

I downloaded a poscript driver for my printer HP Color Laserjet Professional CP5225n advises low memory when you try to print a JPEG of 3.5 MB on A3 paper?

    Hi Tony,.
  • C7280 - cannot print JPEG files - but can print docs

Fortunately the C7280 will print documents, but if I try to print a jpeg file - nothing happens or rather...

    (a) jpeg opens in windows photo gallery

    (b) press on print

    (c) ensure that only good printer is selected as opposed to 7280 fax

Then she sits down on a message "Please wait while the printer sends information about Windows' which takes a seriously long time – 10 minutes or in some cases just can't."  :-(

Dell Windows Vista Business + C7280 - connected wireless PC.  JPEGs are about 2 mb in size.

Would like some advice if someone - had to leave for a location without two JPEGs Friday because I could simply not the printer to print.  The only way I can get them now is insert into a word doc' happens instantly.

    Oops... try again:

    Solution:

    1. go in Control Panel

    2. Select Printers

    3. Select Add printer in the top bar

    4. Select the "local" option

    5. Select Deskjet 990c of the menu drop down and a default and add this.

When you go then to print, select 990c rather than 7280 (in my case) and it works!  :-)  I hope this helps.

  • I'm trying to export a package layout custom in jpeg format of 3 photos that have been edited and arranged on a single printed page.  This was possible on LR4, but I just upgraded to LR6 and don't see how to do it?

I'm trying to export a layout "custom package" as a single JPEG which consists of 3 photos that have been published and willing on a single printed page.  This was possible on LR4, but I just upgraded to LR6 and don't see how to do it?  Suggestions?

It is still available in LR 6.  Exactly what did you do that you don't?  You may be using the wrong wording.  This is not a function of export; It's a "print to: JPEG File" in the print Module

  • Print to a file THAT JPEG seems washed out

    Hello

I recently exported a JPEG file from the print for the first time module so I could get it printed at a photo lab. I was surprised to see that the file looked rather washed out/under saturated the original did in Lightroom. I have a lot of experience in exporting to the web and I am aware on color spaces and how sRGB is better for web and printing of photo lab. As far I can tell my print settings from the file are accurate.

My best guess is that the rendering intent option changes the color of a little jpeg? I left the perceptive value option. The rendering intent option cause colors seem less saturated in a print to JPEG file? If this is the case, then I guess the photo lab should compensate for that when I go to print?

Ah. This seems to be another manifestation of the export module bug rather weird print. Many people have now seen elsewhere on the forum and you submit a bug report. It is only on versions of windows from Lightroom AFAICT. What seems to happen, is that Lightroom renders the image in the display profile, and then click profile assigns the sRGB (or other) to export. Your observation that it is more or less correct when you use adobeRGB makes me think that you probably have a display wide gamut. You can check if you have the bug by assigning the display profile in Photoshop to export. There should be no involvement of the profile screen any export from the print module, but somehow it happens. Clearly a bad bug. Fortunately I've ever met, but he'd bum majorly because it's a showstopper. The only solution I've heard of is to temporarily assign sRGB on the screen, make your export and place your calibrated monitor profile.

  • DesignJet T770: DesignJet T770 will not print in color

After you move a DesignJet T770 44 inch queue from a Windows 2003 server to a Server Windows 2012 R2 the T770 will not print in color.

The general tab on the properties T770 printer States ' color: No. '.  Yet once on the printer properties on the tab color color management is set to "Automatic (recommended)".

The T770 printer driver has been downloaded from Windows Update I was unable to get a T770 driver from the HP website.

The T770 product no is CH539A / CN375A. Strangely, none of these product numbers have been recognized by the search for product number for th HP Web site.

My question is how do the T770 to print color again?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I would say that you definitely have a driver problem if you has not changed the settings in the built-in web server printer at the time wherever you spent since Windows Server to the other server in Windows.

I check all the settings on each tab in the driver to see if it is possible that somewhere in there color is disabled.

I also go back to HP.com and look for driver for that machine again.

I am also looking for a print utility for this machine, which should not be confused with a printer utility, even if they might be named roughly the same.

I recall there are two utilities is to monitor the status of your printer, and the other is to print and work around the driver.

When you have found the right print utility you save your print format JPEG or PDF file and then open it in the print utility and send it to the printer without ever open drivers.

Another experiment, you can try it if you have a practical PDF just open a web browser and access the built-in web server printer and then try to print the PDF file directly by using the option for printing on the web server.

The purpose of some of these things is number one determine if the printer has developed a problem that it prevents printing color and print JPEG or PDF from the built-in Web server where all you do is send the file directly to the printer would let you know that the printer is always able to color.

So if you can get the print work utility where you can open the PDF on a PC and then send it to the printer you have to least a workaround while you solve the driver problem.

  • HP Envy 4524: Printer PDF files print does not correctly

I have two files: a jpeg and a single pdf, card, size A4.  They look identical when displayed on the screen, but when I print, the jpeg format is perfect and the pdf smear through it. This is a new printer and I had no such problem on my previous HP Photosmart 6510. Any ideas?

    Hello @pamhans, greetings!

Welcome to the HP Forum! It is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get help and advice.

I understand that you are having problems when printing an image in PDF format. I would like to help with that.

First of all, I would like to know the app that you use to open / print PDF files. You use "Adobe reader" or another application?

If you do not use the Adobe reader software, please install Adobe reader, and then try to print the pdf image.

If you already use Adobe reader software, follow the steps below:

    1. try the option "Print as image":

    • Choose file > print and then click Advanced.
    • Select print as Image.
    • Click OK to close the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then click OK to print.

    2. install the last update:

    • Open Acrobat or Reader.
    • Choose Help > check for updates. If a new update is available, it installs automatically.
    • Once installed, restart your computer.
    • Print the PDF again.

In addition, please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2dSDxCD

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance
