Printer Canon cp-330 device no driver on window 8

Hello

I recently bought a new HP Pavilion (12/09/12) running Windows 8, replacing my broken XP HP machine. I also have another PC running Windows 7 and or recognize my Canon CP-330 thermal printer? The printer will print beautiful photos and I paid a lot for it, so I want to get the printer to the top and running if I can. I've been to the Canon web-view and downloaded the latest version of the software for the system Windows 8 (64) and low loaded and works very well. Unfortunately since the software running, I can't see the printer and device Windows 8 manage he sees the device as CP-330 unspecified. What can I do to make this work?

I have also a printer Canon PIXMA iP5000 was also in the same position, but after installation of the latest version of the software now I can use the printer and Windows 8 Device Manager recognizes the iP5000 as a printer.

I hope that someone with some knowledge can point me in the right direction, as everything else has failed so far.

Thanks in advance and enjoy your time in response.

Kind regards

Billy (of Australia)

According to the website of Canon (Aust) the only driver for CP-330 has been for WXP and dated 2007-08-20, they have issued updates Image Browser programs, but no updated drivers.

Compatibility will be a problem, you can try the installation by "Troubleshoot compatibility", and "Run as Administrator"

    Hi windancer,.

First of all, you can try to turn off the TPM from the control panel for C:\ drive and then try to check the updates of windows.

To turn off BitLocker Drive encryption, follow these steps:

    1. click Start and select Control Panel, then Security, and BitLocker Drive Encryption.

    2. starting at the "BitLocker Drive Encryption" page, find the volume (C :\) on which you want BitLocker Drive encryption turned off, and click Turn Off BitLocker Drive Encryption.

You can also check out the following link and try the steps to disable TPM:

  • No printer not appearing in devices and printers in Windows 7

This is quite disconcerting, and after a thorough search, I can't find an answer to work.

Basically, I installed a printer on my machine here Win7Pro.  The printer can be printed from various applications.  However, the printer does NOT appear under devices and printers.  The printer appears under print management.

The printer is an Epson color Stylus 2200 connected via USB.  The computer is a Dell D620 Laptop.  Win7 has been properly installed - no upgrade.  The printer is visible (for example) of Corel Paint Shop Pro X 2.

Anyone has any ideas what setting I need to enable the visibility of printer under devices and printers?  Is there something other wrong here?  It's easily fixable?

UPDATE: I just added a shared printer (connected to a WinXP machine brother 7040) networking for this laptop Win7 and it isn't too visible under devices and printers.  However, what is different here is that this printer is also not visible under the management of printing.

Network connections are not in print management.  They should appear in printers and devices IS very disconcerting.  Normally, this will occur if the print spooler service is not running, but then your local machine would be displayed with a red indicator in printing management.

I guess that you have a standard USB and not a parallel converter cable USB cable.

Check the security settings for the properties of the printer.  Make sure that your user account is listed at least print access.  Devices and printers opens with the standard user security token.

  • How can I get a driver for printer Canon I455 (my windows vista 32)

How can I get a driver for printer Canon I455 (my windows vista 32)

You can get this support from Canon... If they chose to take over the device in the given operating system.

Looking at the Website of Canon's Support for this printer and select your operating system, they * sentence * support with your particular operating system.

"This software is a module that extends the functionality of the printer driver for Canon inkjet printers. Your printer must be installed through Microsoft Update before you download and use this module. »

So, basically install you by choosing to look on the Microsoft Update site when you try to install the driver.  It will download one Cannon gave to Microsoft after the release of Windows Vista.  Then, you restart and download the other file (on-site support) to give you more features.

  • external unknown device after device, hard drive or the printer goes into sleep/hibernation

I guess that the problem occurs when each device goes into sleep/hibernation because this is happining to only my external hard drive and printer.  All other devices connected by USB have never no problem and will not go to standby or Hibernate. Difficulty I should close down then cold restart without connected device. then after the system is installed and running reconnect the device then it is recognized and works. I tried to just the printer powerdown (cables power and usb for printer peripheral but comp still running while still not recognized after that repower printer and then usb connection get 'unknown device'.)  The only way to obtain a recognized device, DHM or printer is as above full stop and then reconnect.  Any help would be greatly appreciated because it really is a pain and has cost me a printer that I threw out the window, luckly the window was open.  Thanks again for your time and your help very frustrated JK

  • Printer Canon MF3111 for Windows7x64 driver

I can not get my trusty old printer Canon MF3111 to work with my new computer and can not find a driver for the 64 bit version of Windows.  Any way to make it work?

There are only 32-bit drivers available for all versions listed Windows for your printer on the Canon website. These don't work in Windows 7 64 - Bit - even in compatibility mode.

Unless you can find a 3rd party 64 - Bit driver (unlikely), then you are out of luck.

  • Windows 7 64 bit laptop on wireless network can not find .inf wired for Canon Pixma iP4000 printer driver for windows 7 32 bit PC

First of all, I read the thread on the laptop win 7 and win XP PC with attached IP4000.  I have just isn't helping me with that.  I am computer literate network, but I have to be dumbing down, so be specific in a response, you can give it.  Please, do not assume I know something just because it can be public knowledge.  Thank you for understanding my situation!

New Win 7 64 bit laptop connected wireless to a network home through a Netgear WNDR3700 router.  Wired to the router, it is a PC with a USB attached printer Canon IP4000.  This printer has worked without problem with this PC for years.  Add the laptop.  Try to access the printer on the network (it is set to be shared on the PC) translates into an inability to find the driver for the printer.  On the Canon download site, I downloaded and installed on both machines the driver add-on 'aomwin110ea23us.exe '.  This does nothing to solve the problem.  Then, follow the suggestions in the thread referenced above, I downloaded installed 7 - zip and unzipped the file add-on from Canon.  Guess what? -There is no, zero, nada, stupid ".inf" file in there!  I understand that I need share on the PC to both x 32 and x 64, but without a valid .inf file to point to, I'm sunk.  And the same is true when you try to add the printer to the laptop - not to point to .inf file.  Is the only thing that I have not tried to install the printer directly to the laptop via the USB port, and it's because this is not a configuration that is usable for me.  The printer must be attached to the PC.  Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this dilemma?  Please do not give me an answer telling me to download the driver - usually you tell me precisely what driver and then guide me through the process.  Rest assured that I appreciate sincerely any help you can give me.  Thanks in advance!

Most likely the name of the driver you are using on XP to share the printer a is not not the name of the 64-bit driver.  The pilots names must match in order to add the printer as a connection to the 64-bit computer using the normal RPC protocol.  You can configure the printer on 64-bit Windows 7 as a local printer that will basically copy the data from the printer to the format to share on the XP machine using SMB protocols.

This is a Ko for incompatible drivers when connecting XP to NT4.  Replace your server / client configuration, but it's the same process.  Make sure that you are connected to the internet and select the Canon 64 bit driver available on Windows Update (use the Windows Update button in add printer) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282842

  • Printer Canon i9100 Photo ink jet - is there a driver for Windows 7?

I got the Canon i9100 for a long time. It is connected to my desktop which runs XP.  My new laptop runs on Windows 7 Home. I tried to add the Canon as a network to my new laptop computer printer and it did not find a driver for it. Everything that is available online is a complement to the folder that is supposed to change the existing driver, so all of the printer's features would be activated, but it assumes that the printer is already installed on the computer. I tried a different driver from the disk provided with the printer Canon, but he says there is no compatible driver disk for Windows 7.

I connect the printer directly to the laptop just to see what would happen. It is installed. Now I have on my list of printers. However, after disconnected and tried to access the wireless network, it would not work... said he could not find a driver.
There must be a solution here. Appreciate any help.

  • Impossible to install the updated driver for printer canon

    Hello

At every reboot (or what it seems) I am presented with an optional update titled:

Canon - printer - Canon MX350 series FAX

    Download size: 18.3 MB

You may have to restart your computer for this update is taken into account.

    Update type: Optional

Canon printers software update released in April, 2012"

This made their appearance in these last weeks, and I've had the printer for more than 12 months (reference at the time of update).

He has downloaded and moved on the agreement (or as it seems), yet a further reboot shows he has not, as it appears again in update option.

Canon has already recommended to uninstall all the printer drivers for the printer, then relocation including that similar issues... a very long process.

Is there a direct link (?) I don't have access to update? Assuming that it can fix the problem.

Looking forward to any advice or request for clarification.

There are a number of knowledge associated with, such as KB123456, as well as a link in the right pane for "Additional information" or "information". By clicking on one of them may lead you to a download available.

If not, go here http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1> and look for the number + 'download '.

If this STILL does not work, try one of these (probably one of the two for 10/04/2012, even if neither one is 18.3 MB): http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=Canon%20MX350%20series%20FAX>

Or (and this is what I would do), if everything works fine with the printer, the next time that he shows up, uncheck the box, right-click on it and select "Hide this update." The general rule is if the drivers are available at hardware manufacturers, then never install an update to Microsoft hardware (unless, of course, it's a MS product such as a mouse or a keyboard).

  • How can I get my printer Canon MF8000 hooked up so I can print?

When plugged in, the computer does not recognize the printer.  I troubleshoot the printer and it says that there is no driver for this device.

    [Moved from feedback]

    Hi Robb,

    1. what version of Windows operating system do you use?

    2. were you able to use the printer before without any problem?

    3. have you made a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

Because the drivers are not installing, you can go to the Canon support link and check if you can download and install the printer drivers.

You can also get in touch with support of Canon for the same.

    Support for Canon

Also, you try to run Windows updates and check if you get the optional driver for your printer updates.

Find and install printer drivers in Windows 7

    Hope the helps of information.
