Printer does not print e-mail attachments.

XP Home printing test page and other documents.

Hi Frank,.

·         What happens when you try to print the attachments?

·         The problem happens with an email client or is it a webmail?

·         What e-mail client is installed on the computer?

Method 1: You can save the attachment to your computer, and then try printing to verify the issue.

Method 2: You can contact the customer by email if the question is limited to the program.

I also had no problem receiving email on a test hotmail.com account. My guess is that the problem lies somewhere on the receiving end / Microsoft. For a test, try to add [email protected] as a contact to your hotmail account and see if that helps.

  • Suddenly does not have e-mail but can still send

I use windows mail in Vista.  Suddenly, from one day to the other I couldn't receive emails but can still send them.  Help broadband BT says that my email accounts are ok.  There is no error message.  Can always go to yahoo mail and get back them.  Does not all parameters. Someone at - it suggestions?

Try to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  If this does not help you can try to delete the email account (messages will not be affected), then close WinMail and compact and repair the database again and open WinMail and add your account back once again.

  • Mail server does not accept the Mails of Log (misuse of SMTP command pipelining)

    Hello

my mail server does not accept the ghettoVCB Logmails.

The receiving mail server tells me after:

    503 5.5.0 < DATA >: data command rejected: improper use of the command pipelining SMTP;

I thought it was related to the "of:" and "to:" after the DATA command, but this comment with a # did not help.

It will not work unless I call the last restriction of this param...

    smtpd_data_restrictions = reject_multi_recipient_bounce,

    reject_unauth_pipelining

Is this something that can be fixed in the ghettoVCB script or what I need to with this life?

    So long

EDIT: My guess is that the script just throws the whole mail on the mail server and do not wait it gets permission to send data part... rude boy!

Watch the "Email Backup log (LOAD EXPERIMENTAL grip)" part on the project page. Send you a mail server must support SMTP pipelining.

  • Windows Mail does not send to Mail in the sent folder

This morning, my Windows Mail is no longer my e-mails sent in the sent items folder. E-mail send OK, and I'm getting the small arrow icon purple on the projection of graphics Inbox mail I answered. It is simply not save copies of the sent emails.

To my knowledge, nothing has changed since yesterday and I have installed any new software. I checked the settings of e-mail Options and is checked for "backup copy of messages sent in the sent items folder. Just to be sure I unchecked, then checked again and press on apply, but it did not help.

Any thoughts? I REALLY need copies of all of my sent mail. Is there a maximum number of sent messages, I can save maybe?

(BTW - I'm on Vista Ultimate Edition with Service Pack 2. I use AVG Free for my anti-virus, but nothing has changed there either, as far as I know.)

Before going through the stages of the reconstruction of the base of messages, try to repair the database with my Windows Mail utility and see if that fixes the problem.  Seewww.oehelp.com/WMUtil/ also make sure AVG is not scan e-mail because that could be the culprit of this issue.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

After you have uninstalled Open Office and Foxit reader, I can't open docx and pdf attachments.  XLS open without a problem.  Associations have been created.  Latest Adobe has been downloaded.  When I click on the input box, the icon shows that the files are Word or Adobe, but the message says still no association of this file.  No RT clk. available at least that I've save it first to a different location, and then of course, they open no problemo.  Any ideas?

    For the PDF.

    Create a file association.

    1. download and save the attachment to the office.
    2. right click on the saved file.
    3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
    4. click on: choose [default] program.
    5. Select: Adobe Reader.
    6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
    7. click on OK.

This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

Repeat for docx files, but choose Word to open in.

Update the latest Mozilla firefox 33.0.2 with a maintenance package. Now, I can't open anything through firefox - my yahoo mail, google accounts, search in google, etc. Any suggestions on how to get firefox to work?

Someone had a similar problem as you. Follow the steps below and tell me what happens if you try to connect to Yahoo after doing:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

  • Does not download E-mail

At the bottom of the screen it says there download my messages but I do not get everything. Tried the fixes in the help section - nothing has worked. Short of uninstalling, is then reinstalling there anything else I can try?

I could be argumentative and ask what is your e-mail scanner, but I guess you will have to answer this question I have been asked by the anti virus companies worse. 'Another line of defence' was the best they could come up with.

However, I suggest that you contact your anti virus vendor now, knowing that it is mess up download mail and ask them what need the settings to change so that it plays well with others.

Possible problems; (but certainly not an exhaustive list)

    • It has a "strong room" password and provides the wrong password.
    • The connection is encrypted and anti virus can simply not cope with this (quite common)
    • The folder Temp of Windows has more files that allows to manage Anti virus
    • Your mail getting more accounts than anti virus capable of confronting.

    1. turn off temporarily your antivirus, all modules of Norton (if any), a real-time protection provided by an anti-spyware application (with the exception of Windows Defender; includes the Tea Timer of Spybot, AVG AS guard.exe, SpySweeper guards, etc.), disable any third-party firewall, and THEN select Windows Firewall.
