printer guard re-printing same document

I tried to stop the print spooler and then delete the print job, but the print job has not been listed.   I also tried unchecking "enable bidirectional support" but could not to uncheck the box.  I also tried to restart my computer, but that didn't work.  I turned off the printer because I can not stop it re - print the same document of 24 pages.  Whenever I press "Cancel printing" on the display, it cancels that job but starts immediately re-printing.

Hello.  I had a second attempt to fix through print spooler, and then deleting print jobs, and this time it worked.  Thank you - this advice really helped.

    Hello

I have a problem printing to my hp laserjet p1606dn professional

My printer print the same document over and over again.

    I use a hp Workstation xw4600 with Windows 7 64-bit OS.

I upgraded the firmware and driver from the HP support site.

    #2 solution worked.

I deleted the printer on the network, demolished port allocation.  I then added the print device, use the locally available printer driver, do not use the current driver.  Tested ok.  Works fine now.

But it is good to know the two-way functionality. I will definitely keep in mind for the future.

I rebooted the printer and restore factory (several times).

I restarted the wireless router and its repetition.

Printer is reconnected to my wireless network as soon as it starts print same document

    Once again.

    Help!

Hi, in my opinion, it is not related to the printer itself, as the print job starts only when you establish a connection,

so if you notice that the bottom of the list is empty, maybe it's a bug, so it seems empty, but to be sure, you need to access this path and remove any file that you find,

    C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

    and see what happens

Hopefully that stops the invasion of printjob

  • HP LaserJet P1606dn - same document print several times, forever, until I have remove the paper

Windows7, 64 bit, when I print a document the printer will keep the same print forever, until I have remove the paper.  No matter if I print from MS Word, .pdf, Notepad, PowerPoint, etc., the printer doesn't stop printing.  Regardless of whether the document is 1 page or multiple, same behavior.  To date, I tried the following to troubleshoot: uninstalled printer, re-intalled-update the firmware of the printer (current as of 10/04/13), updated the printer driver, renamed the printer.  The strange thing - the printer works fine when printing from Mac OS X, don't see this problem in Windows7.  Any help is greatly appreciated as I am going through the paper like crazy!

Original title: printer IS NOT STOP PRINTING THE SAME DOCUMENT.  I HAVE a COMPUTER WINDOWS 7 AND ONE PRINTER EPSON 880 and need to know how to stop it. print

    Hello Irene,.

When the printer prints, you will see a small printer icon to the taskbar (lower-right). Click it and you'll see the files that are printing. If you view the document, please remove it from the print queue.

If this is not enough, then proceed as follows.

    1. type Services.msc in the box Start of search and press on enter.

    2. Locate the print spooler and right click on the service and then click stop.

    3. when the Print Spooler service is stopped, go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all the files mentioned in the record. This will clear the current print jobs.

    4. once the files are deleted, return to the Services window and start the service print spooler.

Hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let us know.

    So, it's normal.

When I try to print from Firefox it catches all my info (shirts, etc.) from the left side of the page. I need only e-mail information, not information of the entire screen. Thank you!

I had the same problem at first. You open the e-mail as usual. And then in the Actions drop-down list box, you select the print option. This has worked for me and printed the actual e-mail only.

If you print a document from an e-mail, why is the document different on another computer?  The pagination is different, and my boss thought that I modified the document?  I have not change the document - I just printed it e-mail, he says than the version printed on different is his version on his computer - and I have nothing but print it.

Could answer you my question today?

    Thank you

    Hi MBS_PITT,

The print can be different depending on the print settings and the settings of the computer on the other computer. If you want the same settings, then you should change the settings accordingly before you take the print out.

For more information, you can consult the following article:

I see that when restart you the computer does not resolve the issue, I know how it must be frustrating for you.

Is the document something that you sent to print already or is it a diagnosis for the printer page?

If the document is one of your own, it is probably corrupted. To try to resolve this, please follow the steps in the order presented.

    Delete the task and restart

Whenever a print job is sent to the printer, a file is created in Windows. Sometimes, these files are corrupted and causing problems. To reset your printing environment, remove these print job files manually and restart the computer and the printer.
