Printer Hp 6520 automatically shuts down after a few hours
Original title - printer hp 6520 problem
My new photosmart 6520 automatically shuts down after a few hours, it disconnects from my Win7 machine without using the material removal tool, if I get a nice loud bang when it does. It is connected through the usb port on my Pavilion. I don't mind to go to sleep, but I don't want to disconnect completely, because when I send a new print job, he didn't wake up automatically and print, I don't have to feed it manually upwards then it prints very well. Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I could join HP support on this issue this morning. There were two things - first HP printers now have a built-in surge protector so you should not connect it to an another surge protector. Second, the default printer is delivered with activated automatic stop, turning off will do sleep, but not to turn it off, so that it accepts print jobs whenever one is sent. So, if that helps anyone, good! And thanks also for your help. :^) gene

The printer door does not shut down after printing
HP Envy110 model D411c. I printed out a page, the door opened, the extension arm is released, but was partially blocked. The printed page in the status bar and was recovered, the extension arm retracted, but the printer door has not closed completely. I printed the pages since then, everything works well except for the door. It closed partially and stops. No warning appears on the screen. I have to close to allow the doors close. Help!
OK, I have a solution thanks to the autonomy and the helpline UK. At least, it works for my desire 120th All In One.
The door / cover will always return to the position where the task was started. I don't remember to start work with the Panel in the raised position, but apparently I did.
Solution: With the printer, gently push the door closed. Now print or copy. As the work that started with the door closed, he will return to this position even when the work is completed.
Why oh why is anybody's guess. Good luck!

My x 360 spectrum stops to get into sleep after a few hours of normal behavior. In other words, when the computer is started first, he put on standby and Hibernate mode then normally after the specified idle period. It can then be woken up and work normally and then to go back to sleep after inactivity - during a few hours. It stops working after the computer has been for a few hours. I don't know exactly how much time must be in place before this problem starts, but once it ceases to be able to sleep, the only way to solve the problem is to reboot the system. Once the problem occurs, the computer turns off the screen but that's it. He will sleep if I do it manually by pressing the button of power or a click on the Windows button and forcing them to sleep or hibernation.
I watched powercfg /requests and there is nothing listed that could prevent sleep. I ran also report with fluo compact powercfg and it also does not list something that prevents apparent sleep.
NOTE: The energy report is also EVEN if the system still works correctly.
I could use help to determine what is the cause of this condition.
Thank you. See below for diagnostic information:

Controls of Type ACPI Performance (P) performance / Throttle (T)I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site. Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year. This has been driving me crazy. In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer. If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep. If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally. My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft. This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account. It will keep your original profile.
Here is the link to the thread that got clued in the solution:
I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned. Microsoft needs to address the issue. I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.

E2000 HTTP Port Fowarding stops after a few hours
Port forwarding Port 80 stops working after a few hours and requires the router to be restarted to begin to transmit again. The firmeware is the last 1.0.04)is Build 7. I need to work reliably for several days without intervention.
I guess it is a problem of port forwarding because I can access the IP address on my network within my network even when I can't access it from outside my network. I use the appropriate IP addresses because it sometimes works OK. A peculiarity is that, when I can't access the page, it loads as totally blank white without error message.
I suggest restore you the router (30 sec), wait for solid power light and then reconfigure the settings.

I'll have this weird problem and did not find the problem. Suddenly my laptop (Lenovo Y710 - 4 GB RAM - Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit) crashes after a few minutes of activity, Vista freezes. CTRL + Alt + Delete does not work. If I force close to the bottom and then try to restart, it do display anything. I tried to start in safe mode, but after pressing f8 and it only beeps and still doest appear anyting on screen you. If I try to start the laptop after a few hours it starts again and minutes it freezes again. I noticed this problem for the first time when using RDP to my desktop, but it wasn't the first time I've done RDP. I have not installed new hardware or drivers. Am not able to nail the question, would appreciate any help.
Thank you.
This is no doubt hardware failure. The laptop could be overheating and/or other components could be involved. Contact Lenovo technical support or take to a competent local computer Tech do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place.
If you have a pretty good level of computer skills, you can test some components yourself although it is more difficult to make accurate material on a laptop computer troubleshooting.

Computer automatically shuts down and restarts after 5 minutes run time
Two days ago, restarted my computer, which worked very well for a few hours, (& a few years) suddenly automatically. He then ran fine for about 4 hours when it restarts again. He has now made that ~ 20 times, some time to restart after 5 minutes. It also does if I connect on behalf of my wife, or if I boot in safe mode and log on as an administrator. As much as I know I have no virus problem, but I can't be sure that it didn't stay on long enuf to run my antivirus program to the end. Malwarebytes and Superantispyware both showed no problems two days ago, but now they also will not work I tried to backdate the system (System Restore) to last week, but failed, perhaps because I removed an old Norton SystemWorks program two days ago, when I got hurt, because I thought that maybe that's the problem.
Is it a hardware problem or software?
Now, I am trying get useful data on the device by frustrating bursts of 5 minutes. Windows XP, service pack 3 with automatic updates.
Thanks for any help.
As a follow-up, I now declare that apparently the drive was packing with something irreplaceable on it grilled, so I'm ready for a new machine.

iMac won't restart or shut down after having been 10.11.5
He said title. My iMac was fine before the update came through yesterday. I went to reboot tonight because the RAM used was realllllly high and I thought a solid reboot after update from yesterday could be a good thing (don't ask why - just my logic)... and surprise! -He has authorized the menu bar and leave viewfinder, but would not closed at all. I could always use the dock to load and use applications. I saw another thread that mentions deleting stuff from Wacom. I went and emptied all of my items found from Wacom. Still will not be closed. I have reset several times VRAM. I can do a forced shutdown, and he'll sleep ok. Activity monitor shows nothing super weird, even if it always shows Wacom and Tablet drivers running.
Anyone else running into this? Or have an idea?
Please?
Hello..
Safe Mode boot removes the system caches that can help after an OS X day or level.
Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple > Shut Down.
After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.
As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.
Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.
Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot

- Plug the power cord with module directly into the wall outlet (remove any surge protector or extension cord and connect the printer directly to wall outlet cable)
- Check if the power supply cord or a module has LED light.
- If ALLOWED to make sure it's well of color (if not glowing then replace module and power cord)
- If no light go to step 7.
- Plug printer - make sure that it is connected correctly and firmly.
- Press power button / power off printer to power upward. If do not turn on the first time button works / stop several times to see if it works.

Hello
(1) have you made changes before the start of this issue?
(2) what is the exact error message/code?
(3) windows operating system you are using?
Try to change the screen saver and check if you face the same problem.
You can check the power setting and set it accordingly.

Stuck on the screen saying 'Shutting Down' after trying to install SP2 on Vista
So I got problems with my Windows Vista. The day passed or it would freeze completely, all programs not responding. I looked around, and he said that a possible solution would be to install SP2. So I did. As he installed the first of 3 updates, it got stuck at 44% for an hour. Then, she moved to say Shutting Down, which was during the last two hours.
I don't know what to do now. During the installation, he said do not put off your computer, and while it is said that is no longer, I'm still hesitant to do. Any ideas on what I should do? In addition, would set the gel I described previously by SP2? Or do you know of anything that could be causing it?
Thank you
