Printer Interface stopped working, change the settings on Data Execution Prevention

My computer Data Execution Prevention keeps stop my printer to work from time to time.  He tells me that the printer Interface has stopped working... I tried to change the DEP settings, but I can't find a file for my printer to be added to the FILES that won't interfere with the DEP.  I don't know how to do this.

2. What is the full error message that you receive?

3. What is the serial number and model of the printer?

If the previous step fails then I would suggest you install printer drivers updated by visiting the site of the printer manufacturer.

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    Windows Live will not work on my laptop, data execution prevention is a problem, but how can I solve it?  It doesn't let me change the DEP settings as it says not allowed.  He did run when I first got my laptop but have had to reset the laptop to factory default, everything else works very well except windows live, it is recommended to find a user-friendly version of the DEP, when I go through solutions but don't really understand DEP.

    If you want to configure deployment position of connections, it is necessary for your application to be configured with a Repository.As of MDS in writing I'd mentioned in the blog too, for that you need an entry in the adf - config.xml and that your server must have a registered MDS store. Unless you are going to do this, the connection endpoint changes you make will not be saved.

    Thank you for your message.  Let's try the following:
    Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > click 'manage '.
    Click the (+) sign next to Services and Applications > below, click on 'Services '.
    In the right, double-click 'RPC Remote Procedure Call ()'
    Make sure that the startup type is set to "Automatic" and click 'Start', and then click OK
    In the services pane, double-click "print spooler".
    Make sure that the startup type is set to 'Automatic', click 'Start' and click OK as well.
    Test the functionality of your print.  You may need to reinstall your printer.  Click HERE for additional troubleshooting steps.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

    Please post on the forum.     Hello, I looked through a number of positions on the definition of default printer in a Mac, but nothing solve my specific problem. I recently spent a PC to a MacBook Pro, just updated to Mountain Lion and installed my printer wireless, HP Deskjet F4500 Series, with the pilot chosen by my computer. The printer-computer connection usually works, but when I go into the CUPS and change the default settings for Fast Draft, n/b only, it does not apply when I print. I tried several times, making sure to save my default settings in CUPS (and indeed they appear here as Fast project, b & w only), but no matter which application print from - Safari, Chrome, text edit, etc.. - it prints in color and normal mode unless I manually selects the settings for that particular print job. This is especially a problem when printing things that are not pop up a print dialog, such as online coupons. I could easily change the settings of the default printer on my laptop and they apply to coupon print as well, but I'm having no luck with the Mac. Help, please! Thank you!

    Finally I got it solved!

    There are two options in Mountain Lion when you add the printer HP CM1415fn (Apple-> preferences-> Print & Scan system): "AirPrint" and "HP LaserJet CM1410 Series.

    So, with "AirPrint" set default CUPS Options has no effect, even if you change. PPD file.

    Fortunately, with the 'HP LaserJet CM1410 series' setting CUPS the default Options works well!

    This is usually resolved with a driver updated from the manufacturer.
    I highly recommend updating the driver to see if that takes care of the issue. If you need help, find the driver for your printer, please provide the make and model and I will do my best to find the right one for you.

    CNET is infamous for the grouping of things in its downloads as much a / v programs report as junk (I went through the same thing using eSet NOD32 has / v).  I seem to remember that if you ignore the warning and download the exe file and then use a tool like the free 7-zip to extract only the file necessary to run the program you want, you can work around the problem.
