Printer shows an error but printed pdf

Hi all!

I have a very annoying problem with my Adobe Acrobat Standard.

When I print a pdf document, I have the pdf I wanted but the printer down to the right corner of the screen does not go away.

It is said that there is a single document, which has yet to be printed. And if I open the printer dialog box it means: error - printing and the symbol on the screen does not go away until I have cancel the print job.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. And because it was so boring, I put my entire windows system.

After that, the printer worked for two weeks without errors.

But now, it's the same problem as before. And I'm getting really crazy.

How can I fix this problem without setting up the entire system again?

The problem is that I can not only uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat, because it is a part of the software of my laptop and so I have no CD of it.

The problem appeared in the Version 8.1.4. I have already updated to 8.1.5 but this made no change.

I hope you can help me.

Denise

Sounds like the question now "bog" standard printer Adobe PDF uses one port other than "* My-Documents *.»»» PDF' or ' * Desktop-*.» PDF»

Watched several times.

You did not say if you use XP or Vista to verify appropriate locations based on your operating system for the following:

Look for your Adobe PDF printer in "Printers and faxes" section of the control panel.

Check the properties of the printer, specifically the port it uses. (On XP right click on Printer Ports tab, select Properties, Adobe PDF).

If she's not my Documents or desktop (one of them must be verified) it's your problem.

If you DO see these two ports in option, check one of them and then select 'OK' and you are G2G.

If you don't see either of these two options, the ports have not been created during installation (you leave until the ports have been created as part of a mess up in the MSI install routine), then you must first close all dialog boxes, open Acrobat and select Repair on the Help menu.

I hope that the fixed, but if your printer ports are not set after making a repair, you may need to do a little more work.

  • Printing error on Adobe PDF

Last week, I bought a new computer

    Windows 8, 64 bit OS

    Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz

    8.00 GB of RAM

I've disabled Adobe Acrobat on my old PC and started installing Adobe Acrobat version 8 standard on my new computer. During installation I got an error message that I googled. The opinion that prevails for the problem seemed to be extracted the compressed .cab installation file from AdobePDF.dll_64 and to use during the installation that I did. However although Acrobat 8 is installed and running (somehow) I can't print to Adobe PDF format for all applications (e.g. MS Word) which is mainly the kind of thing I want to do with Acrobat

I realize that version 8 is now quite an old version of Acrobat, I bought an update when I bought the old computer, as the version I had at that time would not work with Vista and I am now facing the same type of problem with Windows 8, really, I don't want to spend 5000 more Norwegian upgrade to Acrobat XI that anyone has any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Is the error message I get when I try to print in PDF format

    "Error on Adobe PDF printing"

    Gareth has soon

If you discover things with Win8, 64-bit, you use AA8, please let us know. It is useful to let people know what works with the old software on new platforms. Be ready to deal with workarounds, but happy that you guessed it work. I guess that the 8.1 is the key (as it has been in the past for 64-bit systems). Good luck.

I can go directly from word or scanning of documents in PDF format with no problems. However, I noticed that I have two instances of Acrobat Pro 11 under installed programs.

    1 adobe Systems, installed 14/05/2013, 1.93 GB, version 11.0.00

    2 adobe Systems Incorporated, version 14/05/2013, 1.85 GB, 11.0

Maybe it's originally a sort of conflict but that you remove?

    Help, please.

  • HP Officejet 6700: I have a a HP Officejet 6700. I can print anything, but a pdf document.

I can't print PDF.  Everything else works fine.  I use a wireless connection.

    Hello @Tbot,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject. Now, because only happens this problem of printing PDF Adobe Reader XI and other devices connected to your printer can print PDFS very well, I think the problem you are experiencing is located in your specific version of the XI Adobe on your computer. I get you to change certain settings Adobe below to check if this problem can be solved.

Step 1: Disable the "enhanced security" setting Adobe XI:

    1. Open Adobe
    2. Click Edit at the top
    3. Click on Preferences
    4. ' Click on 'Security Enhanced "(Protected Mode) and ensure that this feature is disabled
    5. Restart Adobe

Now test again to print a PDF file. If the problem persists, please continue to the next step.

Step 2: Print as an Image:

    1. Open your PDF file
    2. Click file and print
    3. "In the print dialog box, click the Advanced button and choose 'Print as Image '

Please try to print. Proceed to the next step if the problem is still involved.

    Step 3: Check the updates:

To check if Adobe updates have been released to correct printing problems, please follow the steps below.

    1. Open Adobe
    2. Click on Help
    3. Select Check for Updates
    4. If a new update is available, please leave the install

Try again to print a PDF file.

Still, because everything prints fine from your system with the exception of PDF files in Adobe, it's a problem with the program Adobe itself. If you wish, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe on your computer.

You can also reach out to the community to Support Adobe to consolidate specific Adobe: Adobe Reader community

Please let me know if the steps I have provided to resolve your problem. I wish you good luck!

My office print 8600 ProPlus will not print pdf files sent from an iPad with ePrint.  I just get an error message when I go to the HP Eprint centre.  It prints the address email of the coverage, but nothing else.  The attachment is not sure that I can see.  I tried to send an attachment from my Mac and worked well.

Thank you for your response and I am sorry for the delay to return to you.  I tried save the Pages document in a Word document and send it to the printer using ePrint but it is even.  That is to say the handout printed but not the attachment.  However, when we removed the accompanying document and sent the attachment in its own it has worked well for we have managed to solve the problem. Thank you very much.

    Hello @pamhans, greetings!

Welcome to the HP Forum! It is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get help and advice.

I understand that you are having problems when printing an image in PDF format. I would like to help with that.

First of all, I would like to know the app that you use to open / print PDF files. You use "Adobe reader" or another application?

If you do not use the Adobe reader software, please install Adobe reader, and then try to print the pdf image.

If you already use Adobe reader software, follow the steps below:

    1. try the option "Print as image":

    • Choose file > print and then click Advanced.
    • Select print as Image.
    • Click OK to close the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then click OK to print.

    2. install the last update:

    • Open Acrobat or Reader.
    • Choose Help > check for updates. If a new update is available, it installs automatically.
    • Once installed, restart your computer.
    • Print the PDF again.

In addition, please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2dSDxCD

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance
