• HP DeskJet 3632: It installed everything? Shouldn't I have an HP printer and interface?

  I just installed the DeskJet 3632 three-in-one (printer, scanner, copier).  I downloaded the software from the HP site because I couldn't get my hard drive to work.   I was therefore impossible to install it form the installation disc.

  The installation process was very confusing because it seemed that while the HP installation wizard was trying to install the Windows software was trying to do as well and I didn't know who was who.  I went through two of them because I was not sure who was the Assistant.

  One of the two prompted me to put in my install disc, but like I said, my hard drive is not working.  This could be the cause of my problem, I'm not sure.

  My printer is working, but it seems that the interface is provided Windows.  I think that the facility should have given me a right HP printer interface?  I'm sure I've had this generic printer interface before, but with my last printer, I've always preferred to use the one supplied with the HP printer.  But, for some reason I don't think that one has installed this time.  I do not like this generic printer interface because it prints the much bigger picture I want and the only way to let him print more small is to print out copies of the image mutlipe and I just need a copy.  Don't want to lose my ink.

  Here is exactly what I have installed on the HP site for my printer:

  Shouldn't that provided me with an HP printer interface?

  • the HP DeskJet folder in my Start menu (so you can see what all has been installed).
  • The HP printer Assistant which is what need you to when you click on "HP DeskJet 3630 series" in the folder.  Certainly it is not supposed to be the interface of the printer?  There is nowhere in there to make the changes I want to make.
  • Windows photo Viewer printer interface (which does not print the actual size of an image without printing more than one copy, even if you uncheck the "correct the image in the frame".   Surely, this is just a generic Windows printer interface provides isn't?

  It installed everything?  Shouldn't I have an HP printer and interface?

  All I can find is that you can export to illustrator at 4 x the size. 4 x what? It never specifies what is the actual size. Is the original 12 parsecs everywhere? 6 lengths of banana? 17 mm? Nobody knows the answer to that?

  The resolution is 2048 x 1536 for the sketches created on the iPad. Sketches created on iPad Pro are 2732 x 2048.

• LaserJet Professional P 1102w printer green light blinking, but will not be printed

  I had my P of professional LaserJet 1102w for a little less than a year.  I use it very rarely and very slightly (I've probably printed total less than 25 pages).  It has always worked well.

  But in the last 2 weeks, it stopped printing.  The Green led comes on, but it will not be printed.

  I went through the troubleshooting diagnostic tests on my computer (HP Pavilion, Windows 7 operating system).  The result shows that my computer detects a problem, but it cannot identify it (for example, no paper jam, no toner, etc..).  I manually checked it for a paper jam too.  I have not seen any problems.  I turned off, unplugged, he turned his back.  She still does not print.  And now the green light blinks, even if I turn it off several hours ago.

  Update: I realized what it was.  My USB cable was very slightly loose.  I don't see when I checked manually the printer the first time.  But I checked a second time and just pushed him tighter.  Problem solved.

  You must ensure that the files have a sufficient number of pixels at a certain size and a certain ppi.

• Flashing green light

  Hi rcowen, sorry to hear you have s question to get your printer to work correctly with windows 8.   I did some research and I noticed that this model of printer is not supported with Windows 8.  Here is a document that shows the minimum requirements. http://goo.GL/IMWBER

  What you can try to do is to use the generic Windows 8 printer driver.  If you go to add a printer option in windows 8 and select the 990c Deskjet printer driver or the Deskjet 550 c printer driver and then connect your printer, this may solve your problem.  I can't guarantee that it works, but I had it turn out to be successful for me in the past.

  Another option, because you have an HP printer, you may well qualify for the "Trade In Trade Up" program that offers HP.  Everything you need to call HP at 1-800-474-6836 and ask about this option.  You will be asked your serial number located on the back of your printer on a sticker that is located close to a bar code.

• DeskJet 3632: unable to set the printer for the moment of ink

  I recently bought this printer, but finds it difficult to sign up for the instant the ink plan. The printer is connected to the pc via the usb cable because my router is not active wifi.   Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you try to register your DeskJet 3632 to instant ink.

  The following was taken directly form Instant ink Web Site. What are the conditions to register?

  Your printer must be connected to the Internet, so we know when to send you ink.

  According to the Specifications of the printer (as you noted) the 3632 does not support an Ethernet connection. This means that the printer must be on a wireless network in order to be enrolled in the program.  There is no way around this requirement.

• DeskJet 932C, Windows 7, a red and green light on the machine will not work

  Both my red light and green light are on and printer has stopped working.  What, on the contrary, do in addition to become another printer? When I press red light nothing happens.   It seems that the camera is blocked in an error state.  There is a section in the user guide for the printer Deskjet 932C which covers when there are flashing lights.  I'll link this information below.
