  It doesn't seem to be any problem with my camera, because I can dictate into WordPad and Notepad.   However, I use EditPad Light as my default text editor, but for a reason that the voice recognition program does not recognize other processor as being capable of speech recognition dictation applications.  Speech recognition works very well in Internet explore, because I dictate right now.

  I set as my default text editor EditPad Light, so I don't really understand why it cannot be used with speech recognition.  What I read in the instructions, the application of speech recognition is supposed to work with any program that can receive text entries.  However, I just tested with Microsoft Word, and it does not accept dictated either, for some reason any.

  If anyone has a solution for this problem, I would really appreciate knowing how to fix it.  WordPad and Notepad, are both good programs, but they have significant limitations, compared to applications such as Microsoft Word, and the application that I use for light editing of text called EditPad.  Even if I did have the opportunity to try it, I hope I'll be able to use HTML editors that are part of the Web site software that I dictated.

  This just started happening the last two days.  I tried to add the url to my list to activate in Internet Options, also to accept the list for windows firewall. I rebooted and restored.

  It is annoying when I can't access Web sites on my PC.  There is no control parenting, nor is it a reason to be since I'm 57 years old, single, live alone and have no children, and not to mention that this isn't a single adult site.   This seems to be a minor problem, but it is one that could create a lot of frustration for a disabled person using a screen reader to read tabular data in a PDF document.

  As you know, Acrobat plays well with applications Office allowing users to create (structured) tags, accessible PDFs from MS Office files. I just created a simple docx file with a (attached) table, and when I converted it to PDF, I noticed a difference in the tags that it creates from the conversion of Word XP. As see you in the Word file, the table is very basic, but one of its column headings is divided into two cells. It's actually a very common technique for the presentation of the data in the table. To automatically mark as cells of table header < TH > header lines in the PDF file, I put the first two lines of "Repeat header lines."

  Conversion from Word 2007 with the "Save as Adobe PDF", or any other method that uses the Acrobat plugin, creates a tree of tag that is missing a < TH > tag. I found the problem when I was testing a file with the JAWS screenreading software. Using the JAWS "active cell" command (Ctrl-Alt-Numpad 5) to announce the column headings. It reads the wrong header for the active cell because of the < TH > missing. So, in my example file, he announced $2 and $5 as amount 2010 rather than 2009. This could be quite confusing for a user, to say the least screen reader.

• PDF from Word 2007 ends with scrambled Chinese characters

  I have a problem with PDF files when converting a Word 2007 document that includes traditional Chinese characters and I hope someone might be able to help or point me in the right direction. After the converted PDF through "Create a PDF file" in the Acrobat toolbar, the Chinese characters are all wrong. It seems that the Chinese, but none of the characters actually exist, it's all scrambled and useless. English text conversion or German works very well, so far, only the Chinese traditional text that is causing problems.

  Note: Using of "save in" and select 'PDF or XPS' in Word 2007 works very well, Chinese characters will appear correctly in the PDF, but I prefer use of Acrobat PDF Creator to create my PDFs.

  If you use ctrl-D and check the tab fonts, the fonts are included? Otherwise, check your job.settings and possibly change to a press or print settings. Settings std tends to not incorporate a large number of fonts. If you have used the smaller PDF settings, no fonts are embedded.

  Also, you can view the log of Distiller file (you may need to make sure that the log file is not deleted after conversion - there is a checkbox for this). Maybe it's that the fonts you're talking about are not allowed for the coating. In the case of MS with the fonts, it may be that they do not know the license - something Adobe has become very cautious. You can compare fonts for the two different PDF files see what is different.

  its not offline - no error messages - don't just blank pages

  I understand that you can print documents with success and however, make copies when you try to print a Web site or an e-mail, the pages come out blank.

  Personally, I think that there could be a problem with the browser you are using and would recommend that you try to print from another browser. Firefox or Chrome should work. Please try one of them and let me know what happens!
