  I bought the Pixma 5420 so that we could print from our smart phone at home. I downloaded the Pixma print soft, as well as printing Canon M. the blue light is lit on my printer and I have tried everything I can. App m it says it can not detect the printer.   I have an amazing dn 2605 that prints from all devices on a network except my fairly new samsung galaxy s5 wireless. The phone recognizes the printer and sends the image to it but the printer just print a solid black box instead of the image. Tried several different softwers impression of playstore but not those against hepatitis was able to resplve the issue. Contacted samsung support and they did everything as their possible but no results.
  Last ifea is perhaps another driver but which? Where to download from?
  I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this

  I contacted HP support. Unfortunately, my pronter is too old and the phone is too recent. It is a problem of compatibility of clear material which cannot be filled on.

• Not able to print from the phone to printer

  My husband & I had the new iphone4s Apple. We also got a new printer Officejet 4622 around the same time. We have everything synced up to w / our PCs, iphones (2), & printer. It was great! As a first step, we could really print Photos, Documents, Etc. directly from anywhere from our phones on our printer sitting at home! But then we did not have our fax plugged in right (we were not able to send or receive a fax at all) so we "thought" was only what was necessary to connect to our fax to power send & receive a fax.

  Now as I said our Phones (2) DO NOT even give us the opportunity to send it to our printer at home more! Help, please!

  (1) you are trying to print wireless?

  (2) what happens when you try to print?

  (3) you receive an error message/code?

  You can do this in two ways:
  ePrint printer (set up an email from the printer and send a document to the Android)
  * Use the HP ePrint home & Biz app that allows you to print directly to the printer of the Android

  In both cases, the officejet 8600 should be connected to your network wirelessly or through ethernet. To start using home & Biz it android should be connected to the same wireless network that the printer is working correctly.

  I try to print a document on my Android for my Deskjet 2540 phone using wireless live (so without a router involved).  I downloaded the HP ePrint app for my phone and have pressed the button wireless directly on the printer (the led next to it is on).  I enabled Wi - Fi radio on my phone and have made a link to my printer.

  But when I try to print the document (a pdf.doc) I get the following on my phone error message: no internet connection.  Please check your network settings, and then try again.

  Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I believe that when your Android mobile device is connected to the direct wireless network of your 2540 Deskjet that you can access the document, and you get a connection error message.

  When you are connected to the direct the printer wireless network can not access the internet.  If the document you are trying to print does not live on your mobile device, you must copy the file to your phone to be able to print it.  I have included the link to HP Wireless PrintingCenter - HP wireless Direct.  He has a good summary on HP wireless Direct with instructions on how to connect to it and how to use it.

  You can use direct funtion of turining the button your printer wireless wireless on the front of the printer. This allows to generate the printer it's own singal wifi that you can connect through any wireless device.

  To find the password wireless direct to your printer, simply hold the direct wireless for more than 3 seconds and it will display the password on plain paper (make sure that the paper is loaded).

  Please try uninstalling and reinstall the application. You will need to reactivate the application when you reinstall. The activation code you received earlier will not work, you will need to request a new one.

  I have a HP Photosmart 7525 eprint printer and I'm having bad printing letter size (8 "x 10") by e-mail of documents from my s5 Samsung Galaxy phone.  The printer is displayed on my phone.  Wireless to the printer is turned on and I have the hp eprint app installed on my phone.  The printer is set to print on letter-sized paper and shows me this when I select print from my phone.  The document print in a gray shadow horizonatally centered and about 3 "wide and far in. as necessary to completely the words in the print document.  It does not print the header information (DATE, FROM, to, OBJECT, etc.) or it prints on any full page 8.5 ".  Does anyone have a solution for this?

  Hi there, to print emails from your Samsung phone I would recommend transfer email from your email client to your address email ePrint printers, rather than trying to print from the ePrint app.

• HP Deskjet 2542: Printing from laptop

  The printer works perfectly when printing from a phone or a tablet.

  It will print well from my laptop too long if I print using HP ePrint.

  The problem occurs when I print from the laptop but choose my default printer which is the HP 2542.

  Colors on the printout are not correct.

  All other devices, the color printing is OK. (And when you print the laptop using HP ePrint)

  With ePrint it uses their own driver, not the one installed on the computer.

  You can try to install the driver Windows classic to see if you have the same results.

  In devices and printers, run the Add Printer Wizard and select the classic HP driver from the list.
