Since the installation of Windows 8, I got that printing problems. The good drivers have been installed on the site of HP.  It worked well at the start and all of a sudden, it doesn't. The print job is in the queue and when you look in the print dialog box, it says the printer is offline, but it shows that's it is connected to the internet and the static IP address keeps changing. The only solution is to completely uninstall the printer and reinstall it. Then it will work until the next time you have to print.

  • Printing problems with Windows 7

Since moving to Windows 7, I have problems printing.  What you see is not what you get.  For all programs (Word, Excel, Access) - the info is being printed as if it is printing on a 8.25 x 10.25 instead of 8 x 11 paper size.  I can't print labels because they don't properly space.  NOT SATISFIED WITH WINDOWS 7!

If you're happy with Windows 7 is of course your choice.
but I would point out that the problem you are experiencing is not a problem
with Windows 7. The problem is with the driver that you use for your
printer (and drivers are written by the printer manufacturers, not by)
(Microsoft). Either you have the wrong driver or the driver has bugs
it. or you can use the wrong driver.

It's just a guess, but my guess is that you have the wrong driver.
Check with the manufacturer of your printer, either by phone or on their web
    site for the right pair.

  • Printer problem after Windows XP updates on 06122013

Title updates: Windows XP original on 06122013

Updates of Windows XP on 06122013 seemed to make me lose contact with printer HP LJ1200 and had to perform the restoration of the system to 06112013 do work again. The printer is set up as a parallel device, running on Port DOT4_001 (according to article of Port in the properties of the printer) and was removed in the LPT1 Device Manager and computer rebooted and reloaded LPT1.
Tracking the whole Troubleshooting MS system under properties and nothing seemed to allow printing, so I restored the machine on the eve. Now the printer works.

Computer is a Xeon E1395 of double a ASUS PC - DL Deluxe Intel

Everyone still faces a problem of printing with the new updates?

    Hi Michael,

I see you got a problem with printer HP LJ1200 after installation of updates recently offered from Windows update.

What exactly happened when you were trying to print after the recent updates? Have you received an error message?

Thanks for the sharing of information when you perform a restore as solved the problem.

This issue would have occurred as a result of updates related to the printer or the additional updates to the hardware device connected to the computer. Sometimes, when these problems occur after Windows update, we should always check the specific updates that have been installed right before the problem occurred. In this way, we can identify the update that caused the problem.

As the problem does not persist now, I suggest you to download and manually install the updates individually to determine the exact cause of the problem.

  • Printing problem on Windows 7 network.

I just upgraded all my computers at home with Windows 7 Professional and just set up the network for shared printing.  On my main computer where the network is hosted (to connect to the printer, router, etc.), all the drivers installed and seems very good and computers on my network have all the necessary drivers installed. Currently, my HP laserjet 1020 printer is visible on all systems and print jobs are visible too even when I tried to print it, just document is located in the area waiting for the print window and do not print.  It is the only problem, when I tried printing over the network.

I tried the printer troubleshooting tool, but it could not pick up any problem anyway.

My two machines running windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

Someone has an idea, what happens? I used to be able to print fine on the network when I was a nuer windows xp professional (32-bit)...

  • HP envy 4500 print problems and windows 8.1

I had some problems printing with my desire to hp 4500. I recently bought this for use with my laptop, which runs windows 8.1. I tried to print wireless with mixed success. I can't print anything product of microsoft office, firefox, etc. I can't print a PDF file or the other - with a catch. If I print the document first with adobe printer, save the document, and then print with the printer of the desire, it will work (for a few pages at least). This happens even if the original document is a pdf file. When I try to print from word, for example, I get a message saying that "your file could not be printed due to an error on HP ENVY 4500 series (network) on. There are several possible reasons...  The scanner works fine with the software provided. Through software troubleshooting, I can print a test page for the hp software, but not the windows printing software (makes me think that this may be a sort of permissions problem that I can't understand). I went through the program of doctor hp, and he says that there is an update of the software. I try to update the software, and I get a message - the printer could not be installed on the network. I'm a bit confused. So - to answer the stupid questions typical-Yes, the printer and the laptop to have the power, Yes, wireless is enabled, Yes, my router works and my printer is connected to it (I can print eoffers/coupons directly from the printer), my diagnostic report is as follows wireless on-pass, wireless working-pass, signal quality-excellent. Connected-pass. unplug the total-7 count, count from last time-1, count last 24 hours - 1. neck of network name (ssid), other corresponding networks ssid-no, the printer settings comply with the router settings without thread-pass, no-pass, Channel-6 filtering, access badge. When I try to print any other documents wthout the adobe solution, I have that is getting the error message that I said previously, or the computer will go through the motions of printing but I never end up having all documents added to the queue. Any suggestions?

Hello. Thanks again for your help. I found how to solve my problem. I know now that it had nothing to do with the printer or its software. Something was wrong with my registry or files of certain parameters that I couldn't identify myself, that I tried to plug the two this printer in my lapotop via a usb port and installation (with the same problem). The same problem happened when I connected usb printer older that I know works (hp 3050 has-for printing at least) and still had the problem. I just did a windows update and had to reinstall everything. Now, I can print and scan wireless without problem. I would like to have a more simple solution. Maybe the idea of my friend to install a registry cleaner from the beginning was a bad idea. You live and learn, I guess.

  • Printing problems with Windows Vista

I have Windows Vista. Every day or two if I am printing in Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, PDF, etc., the application crashes. The job does not print and gets stuck in the print queue.  This forces me to go in Control Panel > systems & maintenance > administrative tools > Services. I double click Services and scroll down to print spooler where I double click and stop and start the print spooler.  I have then to restart my machine.  I have a HP Color LaserJet CM2320 MFP Series PCL 6. What can I do to stop the gel applications programs and still print?

    Thank you

  • Printing problems wireless with Windows 7 Home Premium

Previously, I had Window Vista downloaded on my laptop and had NO problem printing wireless. Now I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I have a modem from my phone company, a wireless router and a Photosmart All printer (C4795).  The same one I had with Vista.  I just can't get anything to print UNLESS I connect a USB cable from my laptop to my printer (very frustrating). I'm not completely PC illiterate, but not very clever of them either. I uninstalled and reinstall the printer, the router and the modem and that did not help. I had the company of phone on the phone for an hour last night and they could not help and saw nothing wrong with my set up. I need an answer "simply stated and clear" what I have to do. I have a group RESIDENTIAL network set up on my computer, but have not set upt the other computers at home (a laptop) with the network home for the moment. I wanted to get a computer is working correctly before moving forward.
