Printing text is no longer on PC or MAC

I use a Macbook Pro and recently upgraded to Yosemite.  I've had no problem with my HP Photosmart Premium 309 a.  I don't even know if the problem is related since I do not remember if I printed since I've updated.  However, when I try to print from Word, all I get is a blank page.  If print with preview, such as an invoice, I will get the model but no text.  We also tried to print from a PC running WIndows 7, and again, what we get is a blank page.  If we print from a page with a photo, we get the image but no text.  What the hell happens and how can I solve this problem?  I tried to turn it works to restart and also uninstalled and reinstalled the printer from the MAC, nothing is done.

Hello

Which cannot be linked to the software, but for the ink system.

  • How can I print my form with long text?

I created a form in Adobe Acrobat 9 with text fields to fill out.  Some of our users need to print the form after completion and my form creates Ahmed bars to read the text that is long and extends beyond the text box.  How to change the form where all of the text will be printed?  The text box just should be bigger or is there a function I can edit on the original document to enable this?  I read in another post that it can be fixed in Acrobat, but it didn't say how to fix.

You can make the largest field, the smaller font, or set the font size as auto (in addition to the deselection of the option 'Scroll long text'). When the font size is set to Auto, it will automatically drop in size, with a minimum area of 4, in an attempt to display any entered text.

  • My HP OfficeJet 6500 wireless printer prints slowly with very long breaks during printing...

I saw a very old post on this but no solution so I'll try a new position.

Also, I'm not sure I'm even barking to the top of the tree on the right.

My PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and is up-to-date with all the updates.

Recently my Officejet 6500 a more printer E710n-z began to print very slow with long breaks and, in some cases, falling output and in other cases simply do not print.  If I print the various printer and cartridge of test pages from the printer itself, they have long breaks but seem to finally print correctly.  I've been playing with that try to circumvent the problem as long as I'm not really sure print the (from the front of the printer) are always correct.

I uninstalled the printer and all its associated and software reinstalled using the latest download available on the HP support site, but it made no difference.

After sanding my teeth to a measure of costly troubleshooting, I bought a set of completely new and installed HP cartridges.  Once again, no difference.

You don't know if it is a herring or not but when I printed him using both iPrint from my iPhone, as well as the HP ePrint feature email, while still having the very long pause he eventually print a text message only correctly.

Finally, on the first time I printed the properties/test page it printed the HP, logo, displayed while the ink was drying for what seemed like a minute ago, powered form to another page, delayed for awhile and then printed broadband nonsense, form fed once again, and after another long break printed what appeared to be the upper third or the word Windows.

Sometimes when printing from the iPhone, it will display a low ink message - even if it has a new set of cartridges HP - and sometimes the PC displays an error saying: he can't communicate with the printer.  Can I still access the printer with the function of Windows printer or HP web access so clearly the wireless network connection is still viable.

What do you think?  This old printer a year and a half has simply turned into an opportunity to mimic the famous scene copied from office space?  Or has someone else observed or experienced this and knows how I could solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for help you what can offer?

Thank you.  The article that you included was one of the first I found when I started researching this issue.  I also found articles on other uninstallation methods, as well as to remove and clean the printhead - everything I tried.

Only, the printer is connected to the wireless network.  The power is connected directly to a wall outlet that I follow for the level of tension and the power used.

The problem seems to be resolved now.  If she does not return to its recalcitrant ways in a few days, I will consider this closed.

    Here's what I did...

I was trying to uninstall from the control panel.  I noticed that when I would get the ini file, read all entries in the menu 'Start' mistake had been removed, but immediately after recognizing the error it would make it back to the starting point and put everything back the way he found.  I tried to use the Task Manager to kill msiexe point of error, but it could still roll back.

Then, for who knows what reason, I tried running uninstall directly from the menu start.  This time, when he stopped and I killed the uninstall process, he stayed collapsed.  I then used the Fusion driver to remove any HP printer drivers that followed RevoUninstaller Pro to find and remove all files followed by CCleaner to clean the registry and associated registry entries.  I'm not advertising or advocating, these are just the tools I've used.

After a reboot, the printer seems to be [finally] completely gone.  I installed the software again and this time it seems like it should be and [so far at least] works properly as well.  I do not think that I messed up [voluntarily] with this printer because I bought a few years ago.  I don't know what caused it, but it seems that I had several instances of competitors or software drivers in layers.

I made a clone of the disc and then tried again to uninstall the printer.  Even if it was just after a successful installation and a reboot he would always leave with the same error "Unable to read" in the same place.  The error code in the case where the file is the same as that used by other systems for "not enough contiguous disk space.  I have 384 GB free on a 1 TB drive and Norton reorganizes the disk every week so that the error number can be a distraction, but I have yet to find something better to inform me.  What initially may also be why the restore will not complete successfully or the other.

Ah the joys of PC ownership.  You have to wonder how many PCs get retired every year simply because the owner has not been enough tech-savvy and pay someone else's expensive with no guarantee of success.

    Sigh...

  • By using the Microsoft XPS document Writer print driver, I no longer get the XPS files indexed.

By using the Microsoft XPS document Writer print driver, I no longer get the XPS files indexed.
Open the file "print" with the XPS Viewer XPS and while trying to search inside, I get this message:

The XPS Viewer has finished searching for the document. The search item was not found.
There is no searchable text in this document.

I have 'print' some of my pages on the Bank, internet bank that every now and then I get a searchable history on disk, and opening a XPS I created in April (2011), the text is perfectly accessible, and I can select text with the mouse. However, the next printed file may, the entire document more like a picture. Nothing can be selected, and the message shown above, appears when you try to search for in the document.

What could be the error? Can I change something to get back to normal "text printing" or is this a deliberate, change that has been installed from Windows update or even?

    Hello

    1. what changes have been made to your machine before the problem?

I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

Refer to this document to ensure that the settings are correct for Microsoft XPS Document Writer.

    Step 2:

Perform the System Restore to the point that your XPS Document Writer worked very well.

  • I have a MacBook Pro, who hates contact my HP Envy 7640 printer all-in-one. Printing can take as long as 10 minutes! If it prints at all! Does anyone have similar problems?

If I use my iPad to print a photo there is no problem, but if I use the Macbook for the same function, it will be either print it after a long period of time or he'll quit and say "Printing cancelled!" It seems that these problems started after the update. I am running El Capitan 10.11.6. In addition, when you use Hallmark Card Studio for Mac, as soon as I use two back, it will print the first side no problem and then he hangs up and ends by spit the paper without printing the second side! When I got to the printer, everything worked fine, but now...

    Maybe:

  • How to print text messages history

I would like to print text messages that contains a lot of Info for me to do my financial task.  Please how print you directly these text messages?

I find that the easiest way is to use a computer application. My favorite is PhoneView (Mac), but I've seen TouchCopy (Mac or Windows) recommended as well. This allows me to archive my text conversations in the form of files txt or pdf that can easily be printed.

Alternatively, you can take screenshots by pressing home and power both buttons and those printing. A lot heavier in my opinion.

  • printing text messages

How can I print text & imessenger messenges from my iPhone

Two alternatives. You can take a screen capture and print, or you can get a 3rd application of part that allows you to download messages and print from there. There is no native ability in the iOS to print messages. PhoneView or TouchCopy are two alternatives. The first works with the Mac, the works of the latter with Mac or Windows.

  • Satellite C650D - I can print photos, but can not print text

I have the Satellite C650D I can print photos on my printer but cannot print text.

    How can I fix?

To be honest I don't think that is the related issue of Toshiba and you should check with the manufacturer of the printer. They should help you with these questions.

We do not know what printer you have and what you're doing exactly, but if the printer is installed, recognized and correctly connected everything should be OK, especially if you use Office Word and you want to print a document.

Sorry, but after reading your problem description one sentence, it is not possible to say anything that will help you.
Contact the manufacturer of the printer s technical support and try to clarify this.

  • 5420 MG will not print text. Only graphics

    Hello ~

I just bought the printer MG 5420, after the death of the previous Canon printer.  When I printed the test page, it only printed the image of Microsoft of four small diamond, without text. My computer runs on Windows XP.  I downloaded the disk that came with the printer, so I know the printer is 'do' the computer information; It is simply not the text printing.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Ramona,

Thanks for the reply. I should have posted a reply to my message of origin about a week ago. My uncle came to visit me and used it; Whatever he did, worked because everything now - print text and graphics.

    Thank you again... Happy Thanksgiving

  • Print text or Image is skewed or Crooked [c01627044]

RE: Printed text or Image is skewed or Crooked[c01627044]

3 steps checklist is perfect here, but a little more #4 would be good to add. #4 is that when the rear door of the paper feed rollers is not completely locked in place too what is causing this, symptom "printed text or Image is distorted or twisted' arise and is most likely the problem of what happens.

It is a simple but effective remedy which is one of those OMG it was right under my nose the whole time.

Thanks for the suggestion, you are right - check fit of the rear panel or duplexer must be one of the first things to check for problems of lag.  The page does not have a link to the report to the webmaster but I send your suggestion on.

  • XP print text wrong

I am running xp media edition. This problem occurs on 2 printers of different style - exactly the same thing. Whenever I have print text, that it either word, Notepad, email, Web pages, etc., the text looks like it would if I was out of ink. If I print in black cartridge only (on a printer) I still have the problem, however, if I do all graffic as an image - same b/w / only black cartridge, it prints flawlessly. If I print a sheet of text/graffic, the grafics are perfect, the horrible text. Also, by the same on 2 printers - I mean if I print an e-mail on a printer and then print the SAME email on another printer, streaks, missing parts of letters, etc. are in the same EXACT as the other places. any help would be appreciated, although I have a feeling that it will be. (re-install the operating system)

Try disabling "scale" in the preferences of your printers and see that it helps...
