Printing to a file in Windows 7.

I have problems since I upgraded my system from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro. In Windows XP mode printing to file the printer works very well and I was able to print a full report in text format, but under Windows 7 it is different and printed text gets trancated and I can't do work. I would like to find the solution so I can print text full report, otherwise I must have XP system to do what past.

Perhaps someone could give me idea how to make it work under Windows 7?

Thank you.

This isn't the printer destination to a file.  This ability is supposed to allow you to print to a file of generic printer, allowing you to print later on a physical printer.  The generated file is not intended to be read by Excel or any other program and is created in a language that the printer can understand to reconstruct the to-be-printed information.

The reason it works different for you now is due to one of the following reasons: either,
1. you have another installed printer (the generated file will be in a format that is understandable by the printer whatever you chose at the time of creation) or,
2. you have a different driver version, causing the same differences as described in reason # 1 above
Your action plan is of either try to install the exact same printer (or exact same pilot) so that the file that is created is the same as before, or you can use a method of data extraction support (what you aren't a process supposed to, and you are just lucky that he already worked in the past).
