Priority rule

I have a vSwitch with grouping of properties network cards for: notify switch - Yes. I also have a group of ports on the same vSwitch with grouping of properties network cards to notify switches - No. which rules take precedence over this group of port? Sorry I'm having some problems with NLB MS and I'm sure it's probably a very basic question.

Thank you for your time.

You can override policy vSwitch with other parameters at the level of the port group.

  • How to use the Precendence_rules.csv file to define the rules of priority in integration ATG-short

    Hello

I'm integrating ATG 10.1.2 Catalogue of products with short. I am successfully able to publish data from ATG to store short CASE file and run the update of the base.

I used the model of integration of catalog:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E35827_01/ToolsAndFrameworks.310/PDF/ProductCatalogDTGuide.PDF

The problem I am facing is, I have a dimension created from the structure of the ATG catalogue. I also have dimensions that I created in developer studio.

I want to apply priority rules on the dimension, which I created in dev studio. using the Sun. by coming to the dimval CASE record store. Because I'm not able to view the dimensions to the CASE record store I can't define the rules of priority in dev studio.

Page no. 12 of the guide above, they suggested that I use this precedence_rules.csv file in < app >/config/api - entry directory. I tried all the possible permutations and combinations to add priority rules by using this file, but they still do not work (I checked in JSP REF). All other prules I created in the studio of dev (between dims created in dev.studio) are being created.

Another doubt, I must settle prules on a Sun. Val a dimension named product.category (coming from the record store Sun). Is this format I used below correct (I used the Windows format of folklore as suggested in the guide)?

    Precedence.source_dimension_name, Precedence.source_dimval_spec, Precedence.target_dimension_name, Precedence.type

    response of Product.Category/Accessories, 102016, Accessories 1, sheet

    Ideas/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have no way of knowing that my FCM/ConfigurationGeneratorForge is actuall read this file because it didn't we no log being generated.

    Thank you

    Arjun

I think I understood the problem I had. FCM correctly reads the precedence_rules.csv file, but it supports the priority rules for the dimensions of the root level. I could create a prule for "product.category" (it is NOT a dimension of autogen) which is a dimension created by the components of indexing of the ATG.

It supports mapping prules for dims created in dev.studio and those created from on the side of the ATG and vice versa.

When I tried to add the "product.category/accessories" as the size of the CBC in the priority rule, it does not work. "Accessories" are a dimval under "product.category" and it doesn't have an entry in the record of the CASE of the application schema store. I guess that's the problem that prevents me to add prules to the dimval.

If someone managed to create the rule of priority for a dimval, let me know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Arjun

  • Xbox 1 best settings?

Bottom front line: I'm looking for settings that offer the best online experience especially for Advanced Warfare (unique xbox of installation). That is to provide the lowest latency experience.

No I'm not having any major issue, and yes I have the latest firmware. And I have the xbox with a reserved IP (static IP) configuration. I connect via a wired connection using CAT 6 cable modem router and router to the xbox. I welcome the Moncks Corner SC ISP telecom, I have cable internet 50 Mbps down and 10Mbps up.

Things I want to discuss / ask questions on:

Question No. 1: UPnP, DMZ or Port forwarding? Can I get a NAT open with any of them, but that it will provide the lowest latency?

Question #2: Firewall, what are the best settings for xbox live? And if the DMZ is used these settings even matter?

Question #3: MTU, some argue that it makes a difference, I played with it but can't say for sure if he hit latency. It will improve the latency to change the MTU to something less than the default 1500?

Question n ° 4 (Big Question): QoS, first of all 2 in addition to the upstream. Wireless WMM, activate or say activate? Downstream, I noticed a custom rule can be configured to the MAC address of the xbox, would this help or aggravate the latency? And finally, the QoS upstream, activate of course...

Click on the list of priority rules Qos; rule configuration QoS and it shows the current rules and also allows to create. By applications default xbox are only high value while Skype and other unnecessary things for me are defined as above. I changed everything that has been defined as higher default upward except for Netgear EVA (not even sure it's does anyone know?). And I put the xbox rule at the very top. So in summary Xbox and Netgear EVA are the only two on highest everything is something more low.

So to summarize the #4 Question: I did more damage than good or is there a configuration still better for this? I noticed I can configure custom rules, and even a few rules for the LAN port or the MAC address, or people would be better options?

Question 5: I know what most QoS configuration you must put in your bandwidth and it must be something less than your real otherwise everything collapses. (I.e. I get 10 Mbps upstream, when I get my bandwidth upstream in the router, I have to put something lower than what I get actually.) Speed test vary from about 8 to 9 Mbps, so I have to put a value in the router does not exceed 8) when I click on the button to speed test it auto updates about 9,66 Mbps. but I know sometimes I get lower than my ISP especially during peak periods. So I carefully put upstream in the router to 8, anyone see a problem with this or know why this QoS system would be different from others?
Summary: Real / bandwidth upstream value set in the router.

Question #6: will turn off wireless radios improve the latency of the wired connection or stability? and if so, use a second router as access point to manage the wireless side would be a good option?

    Question #7 (Last): DNS servers. I can change them on the xbox, it would make a difference for the xbox built-in;
I leave the xbox DNS automatically and I changed the DNS (8.8.8.8) google router,
rather than leave the default DNS ISP in the router and manually change them on the xbox to google DNS?

Good, so many questions, I'm not here to argue about the placeable effect and Yes, I understand that the offset cannot be completely rid of and depends on many factors. The default settings work very well, but I played Call of Duty for many years now with several Internet service providers and many different routers and configurations, I learned that tweaking a configuration just gives people with no skills (like me) a nice advantage in most of the games. And if you combine the right settings with real skill, well... You all saw that the person it is impossible to kill and you swear was hacking so report you them, but guess what they were not hacking. I know because I had a good Setup once with verizon Fios and I was accused of cheating all the time. Unfortunately I can not optical fiber internet here where I live now.

Also, with all what I've tried so far, the common Nighthawk is by far the best router that I have ever used and I've already upgraded my K/D average after owning it for only a few days.

So with Black ops 3 coming out I wanted to make sure you that I was going to get the best experience I could.

I did a lot of unique research and research made the changes and made a good restart. So far, my experience online is awesome and is like day and night compared to play war of the art. I don't know if Black Ops 3 is the only reason or not, but I will detail below what is currently working the big one for me.

On my modem (Xfinity standard modem/router with 90/15 gb plan), I've disabled the firewall completely, then set it to bridge mode. Then plugged my router. For the settings of the modem for me is 10.0.0.1 and default username and password (admin and I remember PW, but you can google if you have Comcast.)

    The nighthawk.
    I've updated the firmware.

Updated my timezone in the Security menu.

Changed booking DHCP to a max de.100 Beach

Xbox installation with an ip reserved (static ip) de.150 (well outside the range of the reserved IPS)

Configure the redirection of port to the Xbox with
    TCP: 80
    3544, 4500, 500 AND UDP: 88
    Both: 53, 3074-3075-3076, 1863, 16000

    I left upnp on

SIP disabled and set to open

Lit upstream qos and used the built in speed test to set the download bandwidth.
Edited all the default rules with a higher priority and replaced by a highest priority.
Past the priority of default Xbox High to high.
And set up a custom rule to my Xbox MAC address with the highest priority.

    On the Xbox:
    I disabled Kinect and DVR

Left to get automatically network ip settings
But manually set the dns (I use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

    On my TV:
    Game mode on
All reductions and movement smoothing off the coast.
If you have the possibility to choose the refresh rate as close to 60 hz as possible

Good reboot after all the setting changes:
    Unplug the router
    Then unplug the modem
Then completely turn off Xbox (hold the power button until it turns off)
Wait a minute then turn on Xbox
After the Xbox is turned on wait at least 5 minutes before plugging modem.
Wait for a modem to fully turn on
Then connect Router and wait until it turns completely
Once the Xbox connects to the XBL go to settings network and run multiplayer test. After test bear all the triggers and bumpers until the next screen appears.

This may be unimportant, but that's what I did and touch wood, I continue to have an incredible experience I've had so far with black ops 3.

  • Applicability of the OPA

    Hi all

I'm a developer Siebel with certain practices on OPA too. I work in the field of telecom right now. I'm trying to figureout applicability of takeover bids in the telecommunications sector.

For example. I found in the public sector OPA is used for the following

    (1) the assignment of the person of Service based on competence and their criticality of the attributes of the person and the Service request respectively.

    (2) to perform complex calculation that involves a lot of branching of the rule.

    (3) in order to determine decisions based on a hierarchy of priorities is to say evaluate the rules of first priority and then evolve into lower priority rules.

Someone you will suggest many of these applications may or may not releated to telecom sector (where appropriate will help my analysis in telecom).

    Thank you

    Edited by: user12065809 may 7, 2012 12:03

I don't really know much about the telecommunications sector, but a comment I'll make is that your first example seems better suited for Siebel Assignment Manager.

Your second example looks like OPA. Your third example probably sounds like OPA, but would need to know more details to be sure.

I was working on a white paper on subjects such as this stuff is OPA good for, what are the commercial problems can OPA answer, which is not good for OPA, etc.. It is for the public sector, not telecom, but I suspect it will be generally useful for you.

This white paper is nearly finished, but not quite public yet. How long do you need to do your analysis?

    See you soon,.

  • Firewall vShield - am I missing something?

    Hi all

I just built a laboratory vShield to demo to customers. Looking at it from a security point of view, I saw the word "firewall" thrown around in a number of ways, and suggestions of 'security' generally led me to believe that it was a reasonable solution to replace a Linux iptables VM, which became a standard firewall in a number of our deployments.

Except in looking at it, I see no option of NAT, and I don't see any stateful firewall. The "wall of the VM" seems to ask for a set of rules of L2/3/4, but I can't see an option "Connection established" it.

This dish is in the bad old days ipchains - allow each port & gt; 1024 entrants, in order to receive a response to a connection initiated from inside server. With all the hype, there must be an option in front of my face to remedy this - if vShield ends up being just a way to block certain incoming ports, it has nothing on a virtual machine of iptables.

I read the guide of the admin here: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsz_10_admin.pdf and find them for "dynamic" and "spi" returns no results, but the Release Notes here: http://www.vmware.com/support/vsz/doc/releasenotes_vsz_10.html the list clearly as a feature.

I can assure you that the intention had nothing to do with intelligence.   vShield Zones is a dynamic monitoring by default.  The goal was to make it simple and easy to install and use.  The vShield authorizes expressly all default traffic when they are installed you do not cut yourself during the initial installation.  This came from customer feedback when we develop the solution.   Once installed, you can easily create a level datacenter rule which will block all traffic, and then create the other higher priority rules to allow specific traffic you want.  If nothing matches at senior level rules it will hit these default rules and block traffic.

Finally, we are always looking for comments, please keep the feedback.

  • RV042G what are the rules have priority or rules before firewall?

I had a firewall rule that accepts the WAN2 FTP outside toward the inside of the LAN with the specified IP address.

    But it did not work.

When I added in the rules before that FTP should be sent to this IP address, it worked.

I did a few tests but it seems that the firewall rules do not have a priority on the rule forwards.

If I turn off the rule forwards and I can't connect with ftp even with a firewall rule made.

For RV0xx, an access rule entry last show on top and gets a higher priority.

  • Priority of the rules with dynamic content

Does anyone know how the rules have priority in dynamic content?

For example, I have three rules: content, content for designers and content developers default. If a person is designer and developer, I want to send them the content developer.

    Any ideas?

-If anyone knows how to add names to the rules too, would be great. They are currently all record as "rule 1" "rule 2"... ".

    Thank you!

The engine follows a short-circuit evaluation. It begins with rule 1, then goes to rule 2, etc.. The first rule is a football match is used. If no rule is met, then the default value is provided.

I agree, it would be nice if the rules have been appointed. Please create it if it is not already there in the exchange of ideas!

    Aaron.

  • Priority of the identity rules

Our customers want to implement authentication with ACS 5.2 802.1 x and AD as base external identiti.

But what device conect to 802 non802.1xcapable. 1 x active switch port authentication should be with Mac.

We have configured the switch with 802.1 x and bypass auth MAC.

Also define AD as a base external identiti and MAC addresses in internal hosts.

    There are two strategies in

Access policies >... > Access Services> default access to network> identity

    2.

AD                                        NDG:location in all places AD1

    1. Non802.1xCapableDevices

NDG:location in all places internal hosts

The problem is that the frst rule is considered. If we try to authenticate with laptop with 802. 1 x disabled (internal host is MAC) authentication - OK. When enable us 802. 1 x LAN there is no authentication (user not found).

After that we have changed the order of policies:

    1.

AD                                        NDG:location in all places AD1

    2. Non802.1xCapableDevices

NDG:location in all places internal hosts

The situation is reversed, the user is autenticated, but MAC is not.

    Where is the error?

    Thank you

In access policies > Access Services > default network access > identity, if you use "Rule based selection of result."

ACS should just use first game.

You can set up a 'store of Idnetity sequence' in users and identity stores > store identity sequences, first make sure that you select the host "internal" and then AD. Then you can use this 'identity store sequence' in ' Default Network Access > Identity. "

  • Computer Windows XP detects not * all * critical updates or high priority

    Hello

I am and have been, problems with a computer Windows XP here at work that does not detect critical updates either Windows Update or Microsoft Update.  In fact, the only update that is currently available to me is one for Silverlight.  I also checked that no update is currently hidden.  In addition, when checking "Add/Remove Programs" when you select the check box 'Show updates', that an update installed is listed: Security Update for Windows XP (KB923786).

I should also mention that I don't get any errors whatsoever in the analysis of updates; simply, the updates are not listed as being available for me to install.  It's almost as if he thinks that I have already installed.

This computer running Windows XP SP3 and Internet Explorer 6 installed (Internet Explorer 7 or 8 is not an update available) I have not tried to install IE7 manually although I can try soon (if you think it can solve my problem).

    Here's what I've tried:
I tried to reinstall the Windows Update Agent using the command: windowsupdateagent30 - x 86 .exe /wuforce
I tried to reset the Windows Update components using the tool 'Fix It' of this article (I did not all the steps manually): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

This is the last release of my file WindowsUpdate.log last time I tried to search for updates:

As I suspected, the computer has a (very early) beta of SP3 installed. Uninstall, reboot twice, and then install Windows XP SP3 Final [1] & restart twice again.

WinXP SP3 - read all the prerequisites for a successful installation
    http://msmvps.com/blogs/harrywaldron/archive/2008/05/08/Windows-XP-SP3-read-all-prerequisites-for-a-successful-installation.aspx

Then go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Select CUSTOM and scan | Install all updates critical security available (only); Follow all the instructions. Subsequently, another CUSTOM scan to make sure that you have not missed any.

Tip: Do NOT install IE8 via Windows Update! Just 'hide' for now, please. (Believe me).

  • Confusion with priority BIOS after running Norton Ghost.

Years ago, I had done a fresh XP install on a 75 GB Seagate hard drive. I have an old Maxtor drive of 25 GB the first connection on the Ribbon of the IDE and the Seagate is the second link on the same Ribbon. I have updated the BIOS to boot from the Seagate.  Performance lately on the Seagate has not been good, so I decided to start from scratch. I did a fresh install of XP on the Maxtor and everything is saved for this drive. Subsequently, I deleted the partition of Seagate and used Norton Ghost 9.0 to copy the contents of the Maxtor to the Seagate. Then I changed the priority of hard drive BIOS so the computer would be of the Seagate. When the computer is first started after the copy, I got a blue screen which took place from the disk check. Subsequently, it seemed to boot from Maxtor, thanks to the constant ROAR. The Seagate is quiet.
In addition, when I opened up under administrative tools computer management, the Seagate drive appears as drive D rather than C. I was confused so I saved a file on the desktop to confirm which drive has started. The resulting file saved in D:\Documents and Settings\... folder.  It makes no sense to me.  Why does the computer start to the Maxtor with the Seagate with the priority in the BIOS? In addition, since he did start the Maxtor, I do not understand why the file was saved on drive D instead of C (Maxtor) (Seagate). Remember, I had the same hard drive and BIOS before configuring backup and run the ghosts and files were copied on the disks expected during the priming for the Seagate.
Does anyone have an idea what is happening?

The BIOS follows it of own rules to choose which drive start.
Once he locates the starting tips for, then turns the Windows.

Windows (XP) also gets its own way to begin - so you must be sure that it's boot sequence is correct.  I got a new SATA Raptor drive which was starting slow as molasses - until I found that the system was booting from the old IDE drive before he transferred control over the fastest SATA drive that Windows has been installed on.

Finally, other programs have different ways to determine which drive they use.
Add a copy of a disc (using Ghost) can keep registry settings for different drive specifications.

IMO, on a XP system, you must have 1 player who put in shape to boot from.  The rest should be just the storage drives.

  • Rule of WISH for Roku player

    Hello

Can someone tell me the optimal rule of DESIRE in the following cases?  I use the WGA600N connected directly on the new player (Netflix) video digital of Roku, and I have a Wireless N, clocked at 2.4 MHz.  I want to give the video stream of the highest possible priority.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you!

To set the priority high for your Roku, you must activate the service QOS on your router. Your dosent WGA600N include any sort of special parameters. You just activate the service QOS on your router and this might solve your problem.

  • Quick question on the route SonicWALL priority column

    Good afternoon, all!

I'm working on a SonicWALL NSA3600 running 6.1.1 software.  On the strategies of the road page, it displays a column of metric, I understand as priority one road rather than another for the same origin/destination.  However, there is also a priority column that seems to only list the line number of the policy - the same as indicated on the left column as #.

What is the purpose and the role of the priority column?

    Thanks for all the research!

    Gregg

The priority is the order in which routes will be affected, so more specific that the rule is the highest priority in which the SonicWall will process this way. Routes to the SonicWall should be very general and must point to a layer 3 device to deal with, would be preferable.

    Thank you

  • Priority of the image

I'm doing an app that need some objects
image more priority than any other objects
image. (For example I need an object either always on)
top of page other) how can I do this? It seems that
the last object created picture have more priority
than others. Please help, thank you, God bless you

On BB OS, there is no order of z, so the rule is the last thing painted is on top.  If you manage these things in your paint routine, you can control this.  If you use a Manager to do this, so I don't know if it is nowhere specified that order of things will be painted, but your idea of the last field gets painted last logic.  So to move a field forward, remove it and then add again.  But I never did this.

  • Weather conditions of blackBerry Smartphones do not disturb/priority-mode

With previous phones, I always used an app to set weather conditions that automatically put the phone in silent mode during the hours I sleep normally. Because after buying the Priv, I tried a number of different applications that do that, but none seems to work on priv. I suspect it's because the private has its own integrated-not-disturb and widget control priority settings that users can activate using the volume. I notice that there is an option to set mode-not-disturb for X amount of time, or until the next alarm, but it doesn't seem to be a way to set up a recurring schedule to automatically switch mode or-not-disturb priority at times, and then automatically return to Normal mode at some other time. Because how Priv seems to substitute applications that generally allow the phones to set up this kind of weather, is there than something built in the private that will allow me to do this? If this isn't the case, please present an alternative solution.

    Heya @1337ingDisorder

To confirm, you have the automatic install rules?

To check, go to settings > sounds & notification > do not disturb > automatic rules

If so, I wonder if they are in conflict with a third party app?
