  You can not. However, I'm not sure why you think it's a privacy or security threat. The only thing that can be accessed without unlocking the phone is the camera to take pictures. No one can access your data already on the phone.

  I just got a new Torch 9800 that is connected to & configured server of my company blackberry. I also use Chinese entry (writing function key) and two problems below, pls help:

  (1) cannot use the quick key to search for contact when using phone, for example to enter a 'P', it will show "Peter" and "Peggy" from the contact list contact. I can only choose after selecting "call for contacts.
  Initially, I didn't know when this function has stopped. After several rounds of tests, more likely, it happened after I switched the input to the Chinese language and has not switched back to English at the same time.

  I found that several KBs can relate to this problem, KB13326, 14372, 04052. And followed the advice but still don't work except if I cold start the phone, i.e. remove the battery. He returned to normal. Once I have change the language again, the problem returns.

  If your company blocks applications, there is not much you can do, but pray with IT to let you have access to them.

  There is an app called quickpull that can restart the phone, but a battery pull works best to clear the temporary files and the cache.

  You must install the SSL certificate before connect you to the Regional service, the easiest way is to go to "desktop" IE10 open, go to the exchange server web access page, click on the notification of "certificate error" red and view / install the store "certificate authorities roots of trust." Then, make sure that your surface RT complies with the minimum requirements of security then connect to the exchange via the mail application server.

  For the last two weeks, I get a call from a random spammer every day at various times of the day. Their contact name is something like NEW VIDEO MESSAGE PLAY NOW or something. I didn't answer, I reject the call then quickly block. But my Skype is on only people on my contact list are allowed to call or IM me. But somehow this "spam", even if I blocked every time, and he creates a new account to call me, ALWAYS keeps calling.   I use Skype on a new laptop computer. It is freshly downloaded.

  All time / time zones are bad for my contacts. When I see their time, it's a mistake, but on their computer, the time is displayed correctly. ALSO - it is not an internal problem with their Skype settings; they have all time settings correct on both their computers and their profiles of Skype.

  More than this, my timezone is correct on the profile settings of my PC and Skype - except my contacts see also the wrong time zone displayed on my profile. (they see 01:00 instead of 04:00).

  Good so I undownloaded and redownloaded Skype. Then I changed my timezone different computer then changed to the correct time zone and time.

  This option does not the way you describe.

  When you select this option, messages from your contacts are not subject the junk e-mail filter. It does not label all other messages as spam. Messages from all other people are received and processed through the unnecessary rules.

I have everything in my iCloud account.  Now I need to synchronize calendar and Contacts in iCloud to the gmail account BUT I DON'T want the old contacts in my current gmail account to be transferred to iCloud.  Simple I want info by iCloud the Gmail account.  Can anyone offer any suggestions of how I can achieve this?  Thanks for your help.

• Dead screen MPT V3re unable to access phone for contacts

  The MPT 5.05, have updated it entirely online - 5.31 has. Downloaded Motorola Driver Install 5.20 and makes a clean and reinstall those. Windows XP SP3 recognize phone when it is connected with the appropriate USB (Motorola OEM cable for this phone). The husbands of customers phone, screen went black, AT & T said that they would have to fix the phone before being able to withdraw from the list of contacts and photos. Cooler for the process to wrest. Right.

  First thing I noticed, if I plug the USB into the phone, and then in the port USB to the PC so that the phone is OFF, turn on the outdoor screen and inside the screen lights up with the home screen HELLOMOTO, after a few moments, both screens turns off and don't come back.

I was able to pull up a cached Google of this version and V3re is not a list, anyone know what model the unit menu system would be the same? I just need the right, left, bottom, top of clicks to get to the settings > connection > then set it to Sync (if I read other posts correctly)

  Here's the scoop... First of ALL, the phone requires a SIM card if AT & T/Cingular! Does not need to interact with the SIM at all, just have to be able to access all the menus!

  The menu structure: different graphical if menu or based on a list, to get to settings. If the graphic base, press Menu then to the right, down, select. So based on the list, press menu, then upward, select. You are now in the settings menu. (For those in my situation with white screen, try one, if it doesn't work, try the other after phone electric bike so that you know you are on the main screen)

  Settings - low, low, low, Select (it comes for connections), down, select (this is for the USB settings). No matter which is "proven" already, press left "shoulder" button (upper left button on phone) for the change. Data always connection as first item in menu and is highlighted even if not the checked item, press Select to choose.

  Plug USB cable, open MPT, Contacts, click Refresh on the side of the phone, look at the contacts to be paid.

  MPT will grab also the photos on AT & T phone - had read somewhere it wouldn't, it does.
