  DVD-RAM on my Tecra A2 unit has stopped working (generates many errors of controller to the event log and FAILS in the Toshiba utility). I'm sure it's only the flexible cable (got trapped once that do not closed with care).

  It's very strange that you can not remove the optical drive as DVD - ROM drive Assembly is secured with just a screw on the underside. If the screw is removed, you just pull all of the DVD-ROM drive.

  There is no other screws.

  This morning I tried to switch on my hp probook 4530 s and there is no start, then I pluggged in adapter and still it does not illuminate the LED flashes for some time for 8 seconds and stop, when I turn it on again it does the same thing repeatedly.   I have a very old Toshiba Satellite Pro M10 with 512 MB in it. The laptop is protected by a BIOS password that I know. However, the problem is that I want to remove the password of BIOS completely. I know this isn't a big deal, but I find it annoying to type the BIOS password over and over again. Mostly because I am preparing this old lady for my oldest daughter. Furthermore, I just installed Windows 7 and it works well, but I have all the original software Toshiba, for example the HW configuration utility. I expect the download somewhere on the net, but unfortunately this is not as simple as that.

  It is easy to remove the BIOS password. Follow the instructions posted by Al - eX.
  As new password just enter anything and then the password is removed.

  I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on Satellite Pro M10. It is a very old book, and in my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice.
  In addition there are no downloads available for this model and Windows 7 on Toshiba page

  I can't give you a diagram or something, but I can give an indication to take a look on the front left side of your machine. On this corner of the left side under the volume control is a small blanket where the HARD drive is in. You need only to unscrew the 2 screws that are accessible when you turn on your machine and and look at the bottom of your machine. Do you know what I mean?

  When you remove these 2 screws, you need to remove the HARD drive by taking some screwdriver flat-blade and paste between the disc cover and HARD case. Then carefully remove the cover of the HARD drive and you can recover the HARD drive with the cover and exchange it.

  Voila, your hard drive West. It s is not difficult at all.

  Then lift the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive to disconnect PJ700 on the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM of PJ15 card on the system board.

  I don't think you can remove the default books. I open any personal book, select a contact, do a control + a to select all and drag in the personal address book by default. Then delete the empty book. Then do the same for the collected books.

  Thanks for posting about what is happening. If I understand you correctly, you have a book you want on your iPhone and iPad, but neither is synchronizing correctly to have both.

  Have you checked every device to confirm that the same identifier Apple is signed all three?

  iPhone and iPad: head to settings > iTunes and App Store

  iTunes: on a Mac, it's under account or installed depending on the version of iTunes store.  On a PC, it is also under account, and if you don't see the menu bar, click on the triangle in the upper left corner to view the Bar Menu or CTRL + B on the keyboard.

  If all 3 have the same signed Apple ID, post the version of iOS and iTunes for all three devices here, please.

  Well my friend, in my opinion you should not try to disassemble the laptop if you n t have the necessary experience and don t know to do this!
  You could damage other parts that you know

  You're stuck on the LCD mask?
  As far as I know the LCD mask is covered by two screws that are hidden under the joints.
  You will need to remove both seals of mask LCD, and then you could remove the two screws hidden under the seals mentioned.
  Then, you could put your fingers between the mask and the LCD screen in order to release the LCD mask plastic locks.

  But note; Be careful, don't use any force!
