  Hi guys,.

  Having a really weird problem.
  
  Scenario-
  I have 2 x ESXi 4.1 (call B and C) running as virtual machines inside an another ESXi 4.1 host (let's call this has). Why this is because it is a test lab and I have limited the number of available servers.

  Problem-

  The problem I have is that the LUNS that I create on my HP P4000 VSA SAN do not appear on B & C. However, they go to the a. I consulted HP and confirm that IQN Intiators ISCSI for B and C numbers are attributed to the specific LUN. HP confirmed that it there is nothing wrong with my config and told me it's a question of VMWARE.

  
  A little more detailed look at the problem-
  
  

  1.      B (or C), I enabled ISCSI initiator.

  2. then, I made a dynamic discovery by mentioning my SAN Cluster IP address and he did "LUN ID" in the static discovery tab collection. So far so good.                       

  3. then I rescan all host bus adapters.
  4 I go to storage and to search for new data warehouses/LUN. Nothing is picked up. This is the strange part (the problem)

  Someone suggested to me that since B & C are in fact virtual machines inside an another ESXi, the firewall may block the ISCSI connections.   1 LUN ISCSI can be added inside A host, with no problems.

  
  2. I have already configured a VMKernel Port inside B & C (image view within B or C networking file is attached). Note that all the vmnic is virtual, since the B machine in question is actually a virtual machine.
  
  Any help with this will be highly appreciated that my project is at a standstill right now!

  I have a test lab with a 48 TB Equallogic SAN PS6500 and two connected on ESX 4.0 servers. There was no problem on the side of ESX and SAN configuration, I was able to connect to the SAN network successfully through the iSCSI initiator adapter. After the rescan all paths are displayed, but when I try to 'Storage add' I get the following: the disk already has a VMFS data store. Select another drive.

  On the side of SAN, I have 8 RAID 5 volumes:

  2. 2 TB

  4. 4 TB

  2-5 TO

  I was wondering if anyone else has encountered the same problem and so is there a solution for this. I could have missed something during the configuration of the SAN/ESX, but everything seemed simple enough. Don't know what I could of done wrong. Please notify.

• Adding datastore in VMware with dell perc5.i after enabling vt - d

  Dear community of VMware,

  I have a problem with my v5 sphere adding datastore in VMware, the problem comes when I put the vt - d on enable. I have my store of data on raid 5 with a dell perc5.i. When I enable this feature my data store went from raid controller. Another point, when I do a new raid with en disks try to add it, I noticed that when it is being initialized, I can add the store of data without any problem. But after that is done initializing it went again.

  Now maybe you think why put vt - d j my setup is that I want to make my virtual nas/san inside vmware with freebsd, and I need to get through to my tape drive, connect to my backup server.

  No one knows what might be the problem or is it simply impossible if you turn on enable vt - d, you can not use the raid controller in the PCI-E slot more data warehouses, but just to get through?

  Other info I already have my sphere of VMware on USB

  Please try the mode settings different button in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC-> leModifiermenu-> preferences-> general categories.

• Problem adding video to Captivate slide

  Hello

  I'm having a problem adding a video file FLV to Captivate. Basically, after that I have published on a SWF file, the video does not appear on the slide at all. It's just empty.

  After searching for a bit, I found that the file FLV MUST include * metadata *.

  However, I added medatada with VLC Media Player, and it still shows the same behavior. There's a certain * amount * metadata? Is there a * type * of metadata without which the video not displayed?

  Adobe help thread talking about what we call the ' Kit Flash video '-which is a stand-alone product or one extension of another product? Is it free? Are there any other free alternatives?

  I ended up answering my own question. But just in case this helps someone else, I'll post my solution.

  Essentially, I just re-created the video in MP4 format. Then I used MetaZ (for Mac) to write metadata in the video. Finally, I imported the video as an object and when I posted the video, Captivate it transmutes to the FLV format needed.

  The video is now displayed correctly.

• Problem adding a folder of images

  Hi, I have been a user of Lightroom 5 for a while now and everything was absolutely perfect, but I now have a problem adding a folder to put the images in LR.  I checked using "Finder" that the images are still there on my external hard drive, which fortunately they are, but when I navigate to that folder in the section "Add files" it shows no images at all, and the 'Import' button is grayed.  There is a new catalog, I created for 2015 customers otherwise the only other change is that I have been preselected a few images using photomechanical moved selected files into a new folder created by me.  Otherwise I have not changed anything else from my usual game to the top.  As a validation test, I tried adding several different sets of RAWS in different folders (which I have previously worked on in other catalogs so I know they were fine before), but I'm having the same problem.  Please can anyone help shed light on what clearly is a bit a killer of productivity right now!  Thank you very much

  DJ - it's a Canon 5 d Mk III, using Lightroom 5.7, and the images are all of the FIRST.  All images have been imported from the map in a folder on my external hard drive, before I used photomechanical to them for review.

  I am pleased to say that the problem is now solved.  I found another thread in forum with many people have exactly the same problem and with various corrections that have worked for them but not for me.  Then I found one that worked for many people - just expand the Destination panel and hey presto - all images appeared.  How weird randomly - I do not know how it was fixed, but there, so now I'm still productive.

• problem adding new iSCSI LUN

  I hope it is easy.

  I currently have 5 ESX host 3.5 all attach to two LUNS on our Dell NAS of the same logic.

  I need to add a third storage pool, to which I will possibly migrate approximately 1/2 of my guests.

  I have created the LUN used management tools of equal sense to grant access to one of my hosts and I refreshed my adapter of storage iSCSI (software).

  I see in my tools of logical equality that my host is connected to the new LUN.

  However, the logic unit number does not appear in my hosts lists ties LUN (on the section of the Configuration tab storage card) and it does not appear when I try to add storage in the storage of the configuration page section.

  I tried to rebootiing the host, but has not made all the difference.

  I forget something obvious?

• Problems with iPhone 7 Plus the 'home' button?

  Today, I stopped at a store and looked at the time of 7 more for the first iPhone. I was curious about the new home of the haptic button.

  I didn't feel a thing well. I thought there might be a setting and so I asked a salesperson. He said he "thought" he could feel a bit and had me try things like closing an application and return to the home screen. But no matter how gently or strongly I pressed the home button, nothing happened. Once opened Siri, but then I couldn't close it.

  He couldn't have worked either do.

  So, while I admit that my "sampling" is small, with 100% of all so far the 7s iPhone I tried the home button does no haptic feedback and does not work well.

  As it was a display model, of course, I'm curious - are these kinds of common problems?

• Problem adding video to iTunes 12.5.1.21

  I've recently updated iTunes to 12.5.1.21. Now, when adding files mp4, iTunes is not placing them in the videos section as before but instead adding them to the music and the ability to change the type of media for movies or TV series does not appear in the tab options to read the information, it is only allows you to change other types of audio files. What is happening with several files. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

  I tried marking as movies files using the marking software. Files now appear in the correct location in iTunes but will not play again. I use iTunes on windows 10. Also trying to read the videos, instead of display the duration of the video it says LIVE.

  Thus, you must connect to your yahoo account (using a browser like Safari)

  Go to settings > account security > passwords for the App manage (create a new password here)

  Then jump on the mail app which is the application of default e-mail on your Mac, and he must ask your new password.

  Now, when you open iMessage, this app should also request your password or if you click on "available yahoo" it should ask for a password and you put this password and it will work. If all goes well.

  I get the message "Cannot connect to AP" Please check your setting & try again.

  I noticed that the Mac address on the back of the router (a Technicolor TG582n) and one identified by the TV are different by 1 digit at the end of the address - this could be the problem?

  Strange sounds, running an Intel display driver won´t. It is the first time I ve never heard for such a thing. First of all:

  Installed all THE drivers of Windows XP on the Toshiba site? It's really important because there are essential tools that are the reason this machine works correctly and with his overall performance and stability.

  Are installed the chipset drivers? If Yes, then I do not double because the display drivers intel today should be able to be installed on your machine.
  What display driver you have installed? There are different types for the same chipset, and you should be careful when downloading these drivers for your machine. You should always look for drivers who adapt for MOBILE chipsets. In this case, you should look for the 965 Express mobile chipset.

  Regarding your problem of IDE device: do you have that you have installed the Intel Matrix Storage Manager Manager? See also the Intel site for this driver and the problem should go away.

• Problem with the Explorer Windows XP (Home) to explore a network place

  I can set up a network and get a path to the root with no problems. I can also directly access the http address via my web browser (Chrome).

  When I navigate to the network place in Windows Explorer and try to explore the path I get the error message "the current operation cannot be completed because an unexpected error has occurred" the same process on my laptop XP pro works fine.

  I think that it all depends on WebDAV.  Any ideas on how to fix it please? I've been through Art 287402 without success.
  The main difference between the two XP machines (outside the Home and Pro) is that the Pro machine still has installed Office97 Pro while the Home machine has Office 2010 Pro installed. Both machines have Explorer 8 is installed even though Chrome is used both as a browser.
