  Hey guys, just to receive my X220T earlier and tried to get Bluetooth tethering running.

  It seems to connect and to work, but only "connects" to 1 Mbps in the network adapter properties.

  As modern average over a cellular network download speed is 2-3 + megabits, it's seriously limit the usefulness of attach functionality that only ends up being a maximum of about 0.7 megabits of throughput (probably because of the overhead) on this 1 Mbps maximum theoretical speed of connection.

  My previous laptop (asus), current Office Bluetooth adapter to connect my phone to 3.0 Mbps and are much faster in practice.

  It is probably not specific X220T - I was able to reproduce the same 1.0 Mbps on W510 one friend, who looks like he's using a similar Bluetooth adapter.

  I called lenovo support, but was told that they did not have all these reported cases and suggested going back to the Microsoft driver, which proved to be more difficult than a simple uninstalling the broadcom app.

  Has anyone experience this problem?

  Bluetooth preferences shows:

  Cannot open the Panel preferences 'Bluetooth' because it is not available to you right now.

  To display this Panel of preferences, you will need to connect a device to your computer.

  And Bluetooth appears as "not available":

  

  I ran Apple Diagnostic tool and it told me that I had a defective Bluetooth (hardware problem) and instructed me to contact Apple for a replacement. And so I did.

  But the second Macbook, I got them also had this problem. Resetting the SMC is just a temporary workaround.

  I suspect it has something to do with the thunderbolt ports. They seem to cause some failure to bluetooth connected/disconnected...

  Also, the problem is present in Bootcamp (10 Windows) installation as well. The Bluetooth module appears like installed but with drivers hurt in "Device Manager".

  It's very strange... I think it must be some kind of Windows bug... I recommend you check if all Windows updates and patches are installed.

  After installing the last stack of BT have you activated BT module properly?
  I use BT on two Toshiba laptops and I can say that the principle is always the same so I don't think on your T130 is some difference.
  Move the WLAN switch to position ON and use the FN + F8 key combination to activate the BT module, and you should be able to connect to your mobile phone. If necessary, create new connectivity.

  Is symbol of BT in the notification area red or blue when you get this error DETECTION OF service failed?

  Just as I installed Windows 7, my keyboard and Bluetooth mouse do not work very well.

  I use the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth internal adapter, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8.00.02 and the keyboard and mouse Logitech MX1000.

  Windows 7 has a problem with USB devices in combination with some chipsets.

  I have a lovely little Aspire V5-17 t.

  I recently booked my copy of Windows 10 and the little app that checks compatibility Windows 10 threw up several flags autour bluetooth in Aspire.

  He specified the following as not compatible:

  Bluetooth Audio device

  Bluetooth AVRCP Qualcomm Atheros device

  Supported virtual Bluetooth (including Audio)

  Device Bluetooth de LWFLT (also Qualcomm)

  Bluetooth hardcopy cable replacement server (also Qualcomm).

  Acer is aware of this problem? Will there be updates of pilot released before July 29 (release date for Windows 10)?

  Thanks Billsey. According to the guidelines of my original post, the application Microsoft Windows 10 said that the laptop was Windows 10 ready except the bluetooth.

  I updated the laptop for Windows 10 last week.

  Interestingly, he installed a Microsoft driver for bluetooth.

  The hardware only problem I encountered was with the touchpad. Reinstalled Windows 8 drivers for the touchpad momentum and that fixes the problem.
