Problem FPS on Satellite L500D-10R

Hi, I have a problem with FPS in the game.

No matter which game, poorly executed, when I play 2-3 min, I have 2-3 FPS for 5 seconds and after that it is once again normal SPF 30-50.
And so every 2-3 minutes low FPS is back. I think that its core have too high a temperature, but I don't know how to fix it. When I stop my laptop and I clearly fan, all games went good 50 to 60 fps, but only for a day.

Any1 know how to fix? Or only I can send it to guarantee?

May be some running background processes active which may be responsible for this? An application of scanning of the HARD drive or something similar? Maybe some update runs in the background.
Your laptop is laced on the desktop all in game? Are cooling grids free and not blocked somehow?

Have you tried to disable all unnecessary background processes and move to high performance power plan before starting the game?

  • Satellite L500D - cannot install all drivers for Windows 7 64 bit

    Hey,.

the problem is that I installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit yesterday. Before I was using Vista Home Premium 32-Bit, so it must be a clean install. I downloaded all the drivers for my laptop model (Satellite L500D-10R) from the Toshiba site. The problem now is that not everyone can be installed because with several I get the error message, for example with Chip Set Utility I get the error «this system is not satisfying the minimum requirements...» "in addition, when you try to install the Eco utility I get an empy message and stops the installation. What can be the problem here?

And what's with Wi - Fi. When I plug in the ethernet cable to the Internet works correctly, but when I try to connect to my router (the ofc ethernet cable disconnected) he cannot identify my computer and gives me an error of network interface controller and says the reason is 0 x 00028001.

Here is the error message (sorry for the language):
    + Deleted information - non-English language.

    Hi mate,

With regard to the Intel chipset error message I can suggest only install this manual dirver via Device Manager. I had the same problem and if I could install the chipset driver.
    Check this box!

Regarding Eco Utility, you must install all the drivers first, then Tools. Value added should be the first tool of Toshiba you install.

You installed a driver for your wireless network card?

Perhaps you need to restore the factory settings if you are not an expert of installing the driver ;)

It restarts without problem until it gets to the windows page 7 and prepare to start first use but it keeps looping back and restart.

    What can I do?

    AFAIK you can't do much.
Try again and let us know if the same problem occurs again.

  • Satellite L500D - Iinitially had a problem "could not load the profile.

Satellite L500D initially had a problem 'could not load profile' then stop. It is now the windows installation discs that I don't have. Where can I get them? They can be downloaded from Microsoft or Toshiba sites?

    Error message:

Info: an error occurred while trying to enter the boot configuration data

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

    Hey Buddy,

    > They can be downloaded from Microsoft or Toshiba sites?
No, the disc can t be downloaded because it s not for free.

You can start in safe mode?

In the worst case operating system is confusing to the top and you have to reinstall Windows, but so you can take the Toshiba Recovery disk that will restore your notebook back to factory with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba.

  • Problem of blue screen of Satellite L500D

Hi I have a satellite L500D and screen appears very often blue...
    I have win7 64 bit...

    Any help?

Even if the memtest went correctly, this does not mean that bluescreen isn t related to problems of RAM.

I agree with Akuma: the NTFS.sys file is related to the HARD drive. It may be a HARD drive problem. It could also be a problem in the worst case, the motherboard or RAM.

As you can see, nobody will be able to tell what is causing this BSOD problem.
If you n t replace the unique pieces, you will not be able to find the defective part.

  • Re: Satellite L500D - boot problem after BIOS update

I downloaded the new version of BIOS (v1.4) official Toshiba site to update my computer Satellite L500D (PSLK0A - 00U009). But after the update, Windows 7 cannot start, Windows logo appears for a while then it restarts automatically. Windows then goes into repair mode. I followed the instructions on the screen to fix. But it does not work.
When I reinstalled Windows, the computer worked fine until Windows Update told me to restart the computer. The computer dies again.

I think that this version of BIOS has a problem. I wonder if there is a way to downgrade the BIOS to the earlier version. I found some instructions on the net to use the Phoenix recovery disk, but I have no file disk and BIOS.
    Please Please HELP, very appreciate.

Try to install the OS to help original Toshiba recovery image. After disabling automatic Microsoft updates to install. When you get the message about controlled initially available updates and install important updates only.

Check it once more to see if the same thing will happen again. Display the results.

  • Installation of recovery image on Satellite L500D

Am trying to re - install windows 7 on Satellite L500D. I'm having all kinds of problems with the computer because it has been infected by malware or viruses, don't know that. I have already backed up all my documents, photos and files pst on an external hard drive.

I press '0' when the power and then got the following options.

First option is 32 or 64 bits,
I chose 32 that the vehicle has currently 32-bit installed.
Warns next option, I selected Yes.
Next option is factory default software recovery (Recover State out-of-the-box). or erase the hard drive, I chose the default settings restoring.
    Then there's 3 options,
1 recovery of out-of-the-box-state (System Recovery Options include).
    2. recovery without changing hard drive partitions, or
    3. recover to custom size partition. I thought I chose Option 1, but it shows all partitions will be deleted and you will lose all data on the hard drive.

This means that I will delete the windows installs partition?
    Choose option 2?
Option 2 says "the first partition is deleted and you will lose all data on the partition. I am thinking 2 option?

On a separate issue, I could install the 64 bit version of Windows, if so it would be an advantage?

    Hello

Detailed explanations on the recovery image installation, you can find on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R02.htm

Please check it and I hope you find al the info you need there. I always use Recovery option out-of-box state > system recovery options are included.

Your system is infected of course and you have to complete resettlement in order to not make this so complicated. Back up all your data and install recovery image using option 1. No matter what will be removed and what not. Drive HARD integer should be cleaned.

I recommend you to use the version of 64-bit operating system.
Very nice article about 32 and 64 bit versions OS, you can find here.

  • Satellite L875D-10R - dedicated video memory - 512 MB only

    Hello

I have a problem with my dedicated video memory. I bought my Toshiba laptop with 2 GB (amd 7640G) dedicated video memory, but it shows that I have only 512 MB dedicated. I tried also test in GPU. It shows also only 512 MB.

Is it maybe problem in point 8.1 of Windows?

    Hello

The Satellite L875D-10R supports 7640 G AMD Radeon HD internal graphic unit. This GPU is part of the processor AMD Quad-Core A8 - 4500M.

Graphics memory depends on main memory. A part of the main memory would be assigned to graphics memory. In the case of 8 GB RAM main GPU can use up to 4083 MB by using the 64-bit system.

You should also know that this will be controlled by the graphics driver and you cannot change it manually.

While it wrong and why is it doing so. I tried to restore the system at the end of week, but there are a few points of restore zero a few months ago.

Why the system does not restore keep a lot of points passed as windows xp. I could have restored the when she returned from repairs in December? What it can be and how can I check that my computer is ok?

    Hello

On this virtual path, it is not possible to say with certainty what can be the problem.
I put t know what that service with your laptop, but if you still have this problem and still best option for you is to check the functionality with the settings.

In other words, all your data backup and install the operating system using Toshiba original image DVD or recovery recovery if you have a. Believe me this is the best thing you can do about it.

  • Replacement of HDD on Satellite U840-10R

    Hello

    I currently have a problem on my computer (Satellite U840 - 10R Reference: PSU4WE-00E017FR).

The SSD (32 GB) from my hard drive part seems to be broken. I can't activate the SSD feature in the Intel software or I am in big trouble, so I disabled it. However, I can still use my computer because the part of the HARD drive (500 GB) is ok and the system.

My question: is it possible to take all the drive of my computer and put a new SSD a place?

How is it? This is similar to a 2.5 HDD classic?

Would what kind of interface I find him inside? (Sata 3?)

    Thank you

I don't know how old is your machine, but if the warranty is still valid I think you should contact Toshiba service and ask for replacement. Warranty will cover the costs.

In any case, this 32 GB SSD's with mSATA type slot multi-level (MLC) cell. On Google you can see what it looks like. Generally, replacement should not be problematic but if don't have experience with computer laptop disassembly you shouldn't do it alone.

Is that SSD is placed directly under the lid and place between RAM and WLAN card.

  • Satellite L500D Pro - Solution for drivers HD4100

    Problem:
After a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit on the of Satellite L500D Pro vor of the Radeon 4100 drivers cannot be installed.

    Solution:
Just take the 32-bit Windows 7 Toshiba Support drivers and everything works fine.

I spend my afternoon to find a solution to this and although I found many people with the same problem, there is no answer except 'no install windows from the CD of restoration' - which is absolutely no solution!
Then I tried everything that I could imagine and take the 32-bit package has been the salvation.

It should also work on other laptops with the same graphic card.

    Hi Eroghor,

Thanks for sharing this information with us. It s very useful! :)

But why is no recovery disk? It of best that you can do. Pick you up at the factory with all the drivers and tools. So you don t have any problems with the installation of the driver, and you can have fun with Notepad. :)

I was under the impression that this laptop has been upgraded to Windows 7. (bought 2 weeks ago)

Did somebody encountered this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Nik

Just one question: you have two DVD (DVD of component and upgrade) or just one?
BTW: what is the name of the exact model (L500D-xxx)?

Satellite L500D is newest model of laptop, and it should be extensible to Win7.

  • Satellite L555-10R - Reeltime ceased to record my activity

    Hello.

Ive got a new Satellite L555-10r, had it for 2 days.

After you install Adobe CS3 master collection, I didn't notice that half of the programs were installed and ran the installation a second time and those missing were included ok the second time around. Then, I got the error message that Reeltime was not working properly and he could tell me if she could solve the problem.

Then I got a similar error message when opening Microsoft Works. Reeltime ceased to record my activity, so I downloaded the program from the site Toshibas, uninstalled and reinstalled it. It seems the record activity now ok for applications e.g. photoshop, word etc but not for www pages read in explorer, firefox or chrome, despite small icons for these browsers listed within reeltime.

IM wondering if something has got corrupted and I should reinstall the operating system and start again using F8 like I'm still in the early stages to up my laptop and running and must still transfer data or install other programs.

How long is the F8 reinstall, it's just Windows 7 or this will provide all the software factory too like Toshiba and Mcaffeee?
Either by the way, I had removed Mcaffeee using their kidnapping special .exe before installing adobe cs3.

I hope you can answer my question, thank you for your help.
    Christopher

    > How long is the F8 reinstall, it's just Windows 7 or this will provide all the software factory too like Toshiba and Mcaffeee?
    > Either by the way, I had removed Mcaffeee using their kidnapping special .exe before installing adobe cs3.

The HARD drive recovery process which can be started by using the F8 key-> fix my computer-> drive HARD recovery should not take much time.
The installation of the image should run without problem.

The point is that you won't need to install the drivers and tools using the Toshiba recovery. This process restores the phone to factory settings simply says that you will get the same status as on the first day of purchase
